Eclipse Co. 104th "Wolfpack" Battalion [104thEC] We are a Star Wars Clone Trooper unit, we offer a fun and challenging operational zone as well as a variety of different operations. From Siege ops, campaigns, defense ops and city assaults', to a fun gaming community outside of our operations. All of us bring a variety of experience from active duty, community organizers, 3D modelers, and gamers to create a good all around community to engage in our weekly operations in. We have our own mod and customization, every trooper gets a custom helmet after 4 operations and achieving the rank of SCT as well as our custom provided armor. H Squadron - 22 Special Air Service H Squadron is a Cold War themed MilSim community based on the British Special Air Service in the late 1970s - early 1980s. Aiming for a semi-realistic MilSim experience, the community will focus on the fictional H Squadron, deploying to conflicts, flashpoints and British foreign policy actions overseas, both fictional and based upon historical events. What we do: - Provide a short training phase, designed to emulate parts of SAS selection. This is mainly to ascertain the level of skill and ability of new members. - Conduct a mixed array of operations including: -- Deployment to ongoing British overseas operations -- Conducting domestic and foreign counter-terrorism operations -- Team Tasks (training and rapid overseas deployments) -- Training foreign militaries. - Approach taskings with the method of ‘basics done well’ using historic British Army doctrine and period equipment. - Research and interest into the SAS during the Cold War period. Requirements: - Age 18+ - Arma 3 - A short list of workshop mods DLCs: -- Mandatory - SOG Prairie Fire, Western Sahara -- Desirable - Global Mobilisation (Separate mod list available for those without Global Mobilisation). Desperately need to be able to ban xbox players

Please please please bohemia you need to sort out being able to ban xbox players. It is sullying the experience for many people. Allowing the, although few, players who keep on trolling by Shooting out tires on supply trucks/destroying vehicles at spawn hindering match progress, and now, with free building, using up supply's at the start of the match too stop progress. Also using grenades to TK at spawn and then themselves respawning to avoid negative ranking to avoid a temp ban. Spamming proximity and radio with nonsense and racist comments, spaming text chat with racist comments. Please do something or at least update us on some progress to fix this issue. You will lose players otherwise and with the limited amount of people playing I don't think you can afford to lose many. Today I hopped on, as soon as I joined I noticed a players name and knew the match and matches thereafter would be filled with trolling and greifing. I knew that once that player would be temp banned eventually he would just return with on of his many alt accounts, of which I have captured video evidence of from a previous match. The guy then when on an alt and did the same stuff to the opposing side. The same game there were at least three people actively tolling and greifing make gameplay pretty much impossible. Hi all, My name is Jon and I am from an Arma 3/Squad/Post-Scriptum unit called 7th Cavalry Gaming - https://7cav.us . In October we will be running a fundraising challenge with other milsim units to raise funds for a charity called https://stackup.org . StackUp.Org is a US based charity that has several programs: 1. Send games and gaming equipment to deployed troops of NATO countries for use in their downtime. 2. They take deserving veterans on once in a lifetime trips to conferences such as E3, ComiCon and others. 3. They have volunteer support groups, primarily in the US, which serve as focal points for support and volunteer work. 4. They have a 24/7/365 crisis counselling service they offer via their discord which is available to anyone that is an adult. Essentially, they believe that gaming can have a positive impact on mental health. Their motto is Veterans are our Mission. Gaming is our Passion. We at the 7th Cavalry are a unit that has been in existence since 2002. We have over 300 active members. The fundraising challenge is a way for us to extend awareness of StackUp.Org to the community, to raise more funds overall for the charity and to motivate our members to raise more money. The idea is that each unit would pledge a minimum of $1,000 USD to the challenge, or $20 per active members, whichever is more. So our team goal would be roughly $6,000 USD. My personal goal is to find enough units to pledge a total of $50,000 USD to the campaign. We will collect pledges from our members starting 11 SEP 18 and ending 11 OCT 18. From 11 OCT 18 until 11 NOV 18 teams and team members will make their donations using the Tiltify site which tracks donations and teams and forwards the donations to the charity. On 10 NOV 18 at 11am eastern, our unit will run a 24 hours of gaming event that will run until 11am eastern on 11 NOV 18. This will signal the end of the fundraising challenge. Please recombine Official and Community Tabs

Since the update where the Official and Community servers were put into separate tabs, player count on Community servers has dropped dramatically. Many Xbox players I’ve spoken to have said they did not even realize there were now separate tabs, so they’ve only been playing on Official servers since. With all due respect, people are no longer going to keep playing this for official 32 player Conflict servers. If you don’t highlight Community servers with modded content, the game will absolutely continue to die. I have been trying to run a Community server for a couple of months. At first, before the browser tabs were separated, my server would fill up every night. Now, with the tabs separated, I can sit on my server all day and don’t get a single organic player joining. This is not due to overall lower player base however, they are just simply all going to a few Official Conflict servers instead now. RECOMBINE THE TABS, make it as little work as possible to find Community servers. WE (people running Community servers) are the ONLY people trying to help you guys get more of a player base in this game. If you don’t help us, we can no longer help you.-

Hi community, the first post after being registrated for 5 years. Why? I was a silent reader for years and forgot that I was registrated 😉 But now to my topic on hand. For the whole history of the Arma Franchise there is only one really great singleplayer campaign, Cold War Crisis. Remnants of War is also fantastic with a great storytelling (maybe even better than Cold War Crisis), but really short. All the other Campaigns were okay to solid, but none was as fantastic as Cold War Crisis and Remnants of War. My idea is that we combine the knowledge of everyone willing to contribute into one team to create a fantastic, long and immersive campaign of which the whole Arma-Community could be proud. Why should one modder do every job in campaign creation when it isn´t only much more efficient to do only what you´re good at, but also to shorten development time and increase the quality of the finished product? I have seen some really good community made missions, so the talent is clearly there. Sadly I have also seen over the years, that popular topics (Operation Neptune Spear, Operation Gothic Serpent, Operation Overlord) are done many times and there is little to no difference between the versions, that is collectively viewed just wasted time, in which a different scenario could have been created. In my imagination everybody could help. You have no idea of the editor but could write a great story or a believeable and deep biography of a character? Great, that is needed! You speak two or more languages? Great, a localizer is found. You´re an editor nerd who didn´t have a good story in mind? Great, also needed! You can´t help in editing but you would give your voice for a character? Great, also needed! You have features or scenarios in mind that you want to see in the Campaign? Great, ideas are welcome as well. You could help solving editing problems? Also needed! You want to help test the finished campaign and iron out bugs? Also needed. Maybe we could also create needed mods if there is something missing. Yes I know that it is very broad and nothing specific, but I wanted to write this to you all to read if there is interest on such a community campaign. Also I imagine of the establishment of easy and fast help with your own problems in editing in a way that is both convenient and efficient, but by now I have no idea how that could be done. Maybe there is a pool of experts for every problem area which you could send your missions and they fix the problem for you in exchange for your expertise on their problems. If you have questions or an opinion on the topic feel free to communicate that, I would be happy if I could read your opinions. Greetings

Basically, it's very hard to find servers to play on and be able to get yourself some proper teammates. So, are there any communities around organizing Argo games and such? Official Discord server has something like ~10 people on it. I'm from EU but even NA would work out for me in the end. If there ain't any - we should really start up some community around this game in order to be able to be able to organize some proper matches.

The 11th Shock Trooper Battalion is a brand-new Halo ODST Arma 3 unit. Hello ladies and gentlemen we are the 11th shock trooper battalion based in US eastern time with Operations and FTX running every Saturday at 8:30 est. We have just recently been formed so we are a small-time unit looking to recruit new blood into our community. 11th STB prides itself on creating a fun and enjoyable space to enjoy Arma 3 and the halo mods that come with it. The campaigns we will run will be story driven with complex and engaging story lines but if you are less concerned with that and more game play, we do boost a creative mission builder team with dedicated people who put hours of there time and energy into breathing life into complex and interesting layout to test your skills. The skills you will be learning include: Assault: Main form of Anti Vehicle and Anti Air for ODST ground forces Support: Your Auto-rifleman class utilizing LMGS and HMGS Marksman: Long range designated sharpshooter Urban: Your breacher and room clearer Medic: Combat lifesaver RTO: Voice for ODST ground forces Rotary: Rotary air vehicle training Fixed: Fixed Wing air vehicle Training times are set to the squad leaders’ preference. We are looking to hold at least 3 to 4 events a month with an attendance of 20 people at the moment. The 11th STB is are open to any and all no matter you level of experience with Arma and use a heavy Milsim style play with some roleplaying. Dear community and dev's, after a month of playing I finally have to give you my impressions. These impressions are only for the PS4, but apparently the problems are similar. Brodalen Bridges is an unplayable map, I get a CE every 2-3 games and meanwhile I get neither crowns nor loot again. How can it be that still no bugfix came? In general, how can this game produce so many CE and it sometimes even goes so far that my console crashes? It's just outrageous how this game treats the community. I have heard from many that their concerns to the dev team are simply ignored. I don't want to completely badmouth the game, it has a lot of potential. I just think that the wrong developers got this game. If it goes on like this this game will be the same failure as DayZ was before. What needs to change: 1. bugfix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to experience 1 day without CE 2. remove or patch Brodalen bridges 3. adjust the crown/boost balance 4. a real support for the community 5. latency matchmaking 6. report system for hackers/team killers/etc. 7. adjust Anniken loot (container and safe loot) 8. adjust daily mission ( 3 missions for 1h playtime, then 24h nothing more) 9. adjust daily mission loot, get the same stuff from firefight box in masses 10. forum for playstation discussion Dear Dev-Team please don't be money vultures and finally be there for your community.

22nd MEU is a Realism Unit in Arma 3. We strive to simulate the operation of an Marine Expeditionary Unit by using real world Marine organization and tactics. With that said, we are not a strict by the book gaming unit. Our primary goal is for our members to have fun within the policies and guidelines of our unit. Requirements: Minimum Age Required: 17 years old. (NO WAIVERS OR EXCEPTIONS GRANTED) Must have a valid copy of ArmA 3 and a valid Player ID. An invalid or missing Player ID will result in your application not being processed. Must have Teamspeak 3 and a working microphone. Ability to attend Unit wide events, taking place on Sundays at 2000 Eastern Time or Saturdays at 1500 Eastern Time. We do not allow Dual Clanning. Upon submitting an application, all applicants will be required to provide a valid first and last name. However, you are not required to provide your real first or last name. You can choose a fictional name, as long as it meets the following guidelines: We have Aviation, Navy Medical, JTAC, System Operators, and much much more! Hi i have a doubt about a script to move the USS Liberty (static ship)... Are any script guide or something to make it work? Like to free move as a vehicle. Recently our community and the game have attracted the attention of many Vietnamese gamers. Recruiting people that willing to play in such disciplines and hard environment, but there is also a problem that many Vietnamese gamers is not good at English. This creates a GAP for the newcomer that enjoys and interest in the Military simulation genre. To solve this problem our community goes up with the idea that we will make localization for Vietnamese. From the leaders of 10SOC/10SFG and the 75th Rangers. Lead by real military veterans! The North American Mil-Sim Community is officially opening recruiting to fill our growing Arma 3 Community. NAMC(North American Mil-Sim Community) is a community for Mil-Sim operations style game play. Our current Area of Operation (AO) is Arma III operations, with plans to expand and reach out to other AO's after we establish a strategic presence in our current AO. Unlike other Mil-Sim experiences, we are not a "unit". We are a Mil-Sim Community. That means, mandatory training, mandatory meetings, attendance requirements etc are not part of the NAMC. What you will find, is tactical game play and Mil-Sim Role-playing, while in game. Founded in September of 2019, NAMC sets off to create an "operation first" Mil-sim gaming experience. Meaning, all of our training, tactics, communication, organization and structure is designed to accomplish the operation first. Currently, the NAMC is lead by Benality (former XO of 10SOC) and Jones.O. They bring real military experience to the community, which helps with creating events that are as true to real life scenarios as possible. FAQ Q: Is this the right place for me? If you enjoy real Mil-Sim role-playing while in game without all the extra "work" that comes with a Mil-Sim unit, you are in the right place. NAMC does not have mandatory attendance to any event or any training. We organize and people elect to join based on their schedule. The only hard rule, is that while in game, you operate as though you are a member of a modern Military squad.(edited) Q: So, no mandatory training, but what if I am new to Mi-lSim style game play? Although, we will not have any required training, we will have training events available. They will be scheduled in advance and allow plenty of opportunity to attend of you wish. Some training will include: Machine Gunner, Medical, Pilot , Squad Leader Course Q: What about ranks? How do you decide who the Squad leader is on any given mission? We don't feel this should be something that an organization can really control. Obviously, we want squad leaders that know how to play well and know how to lead while in game. We will organize the squads, and the squads will determine who is the squad leader. Obviously, if you have special training such as the Squad Leader course, you should have a higher consideration. We reserve the right to remove a squad leader if there is obvious reasons to do so. We will not remove someone simply because they hurt your feelings, unless it was out of line, or breaks any of our standing rules. Q: What about attendance? I can probably only play once in a while. We are specifically created for the busy gamer. Attendance is NOT required. Obviously, in order for you and everyone else to have a positive experience, we ask that you make as many events as possible. 1 event a week is considered normal activity. 2-3 events is considered highly active. We value all levels of activity as this creates a more immersive game play. Bottom line, play when you can, for as long as you can. Just remember our goal is to provide immersive Mil-Sim style game play.
