TPW MODS TPW MODS is a modular and highly configurable suite of addons designed to increase the civilian, environmental, sonic, climatic and military ambience and realism of the A3 single player experience without requiring any scripting or module placement. You can use the TPW MODS of your choice to enhance any existing missions and campaigns, or to simply turn any empty map into a living world a la Far Cry, with endless replayability and a host of subtle realism and immersion touches that you probably won't even notice until you play without them. All mods interoperate well, are light on resources and a lot of work has gone into optimising them so they should not cause undue slowdowns or framerate issues. KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES (any help is welcome !) Picture pictures\overview.paa not found at startup when joining server despite the picture is present in the mission folder, I don't know how to fix this. Ambient civilian vehicles are sometimes spawning on buildings (so they explode) when playing on some unofficial maps. It seems to happen because some ArmA I / ArmA II buildings are not recognized by the engine ? The armory may take some time to initialize ion MP (you may see a few weapons or objects flying at start-up). Just wait a few seconds, everything should automatically move on the walls (maybe a server sync problem ?). Ambient AI animations may sometimes be weired when playing on MP TO DO LIST (Extreme prioriy): fix all bugs reported by the community (High priority): add many new tasks (High prioriy): create version for many other maps (High priority): always reduce addon dependency as much as possible (Medium priority): add more details to briefings (Medium priority): add notes and tips (example: how to use tactical glasses...) (Medium priority): optimize and tweak all scripts and functions (or better: rewrite everything because so many time has passed since the first code I wrote !) (Low priority): correct current localizations and add new ones (will require some translators !) As a young Soviet conscript, who serves his draft in the GDR, jump into the thickest of action amidst the atomic butchery of the early battles in central Germany.

  6. Who We Are: 1st the Queen’s Dragoon Guards is a European ArmA 3 Milsim community which simulates a a Light Cavalry Troop and focuses on adversarial and cross community cooperative game-play. We play across a range of periods from with our main focus on the twilight years of the Cold War. As light cavalry we simulate a self-reliant and highly mobile force which makes use of light vehicles such as the Land Rover WMIK. We habitually functions as small independent teams in order to inform and guide friendly forces whilst also disrupting and confusing our enemies. We are also one of the leading members of the cross community organisation Nato Forces of ArmA 3 [NFA]. As part of which we host a persistent Hearts and Minds Scenario for cross community cooperative play and monthly adversarial operations which have attracted over 60 players and 5 participating communities. Our Schedule: Our sessions are ran on Thursdays and Sundays at 2000 UK time (GMT / GMT +1 season dependent). Typically our Thursdays focus on crew development and trade skills (such as observation posts or close target reconnaissance.   7. INTRODUCTION United States Army 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment (3-75RR) is a community that aims to provide a realistic simulated special operations environment. The higher objective of which is to create an environment which is conducive to allow growth of its members mentally in teamwork, leadership, and morality. We offer three different routes within the unit you can choose from Alpha Company, 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment which is our ground core and muscle. They consist of a rifle company housing three rifle platoons. Secondly we have the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment which is composed of one aviation battalion which flies the AH-6M, MH-6M, MH-60M, MH-60M DAP, and the MH-47G Chinooks. Lastly we have the 16th Special Operations Squadron supporting with their AC-130Hs. OVERVIEW The missions of the 75th Ranger Regiment is to plan and conduct special missions in support of US policy and objectives. As such, the 75th Ranger Regiment conducts large-scale joint forcible entry operations while simultaneously executing surgical special operations raids across the globes. Can I fly Transport? -only if you can land Why do you only have slots for certain roles? -let’s put it this way, if your playing on a football team your likely not running the football if your a lineman and probably not catching the football if your the quarterback. Every position has a role and specific task and if one person is not sticking to their role the whole team fails. So in the 32nd ID we build our squads in a way where just about all tasks can be completed with the least amount of players. The Wrecking Crew The Wrecking Crew is a realism group that prides itself in its dedication to realistic and enjoyable game play, without the rigid aspects like permanent ranks and having to shout "Yes, sir" at a 14 year old. While we play mostly as British Forces to make coherent training possible, we have a whole host of players who come from all over the world, some as far out as Malaysia and South Africa. You select the role you'd like each week for our editor-driven operations, as long as you are competent and prove yourself by passing the required training sessions for that role, with some not requiring any. About our Operations Alongside a public server that runs 24/7, the biggest event our group hosts are weekly 'Operations' with between 20 to 40 people. Our operations span over a century of warfare, with a monthly rotation of World War 2, Cold War, Turn of the Millennium and Modern Operations. This means that in one month you can liberate a French town from Nazi occupation, halt a Soviet mechanised assault in the plains of Northern Germany, brawl with Iraqi armour in the deserts of Kuwait and patrol through the hills of Afghanistan, searching for insurgents. In these operations any recruit or member can play any role as long as he has received the corresponding training. In our operations we strive for maximum realism. We find real-life solutions for problems that we may face in game, while omitting more tedious parts of military duty like saluting, hour-long marches and range etiquette. We aim for the most immersive experience possible by having minimal HUD, first person only, a single life and using ACRE 2 for communications. We strive to be as realistic as possible, emulating the real world unit to the best of our ability. About us Founded in 2017 under another name and reactivated in September 2018 after a break, the Jaeger Battalion 4 is a WWII based realism unit representing an Finnish battalion during the war. Our missions will be part of bigger campaigns. Campaigns are chain of events which affect each other. Each campaign will be about a specific event or an specific battle. We will try to visit as many fronts as possible and provide our members with a good overview on the war. What were/are the "Jaegers"? In 1914, Finland was part of the Russian Empire, as an result of russification, there was many forms of resistance. Especially younger students were active. Many underwent military training which Germany provided and thus Jäger-Bataillon Nr.27 became the first purely Finnish unit. This battalion fought in the Eastern Front in WW1 and arrived home amidst a brutal civil war. Their skills were put to an test by making them the NCO's and officers of the freshly created White Army. In the following years, the old Jaegers were shaping the creation of the Finnish Defence Forces. In 1936, the Jaeger traditions were given to numerous units: names, marches and colours of many bicycle units were changed. Vuoksen Jääkäripataljoona (founded 1918 and had numerous name changes) was then renamed to Jääkäripataljoona 4, name which the battalion were to hold in World War 2. Jaeger troops were trained to master fighting as ski infantry in the winter and as bicycle infantry in the summer. Battalion's logistics and support units were also extensively motorized. In the Winter War (1939-1940) the Jaeger Battalions consisted of younger conscripts and career personnel. As a result of this they received better equipment and more demanding tasks than normal infantry units. Jaeger Battalion 4 was among the best troops of the army, fighting on numerous fronts of the war. All students begin their training in the T-6A Texan II to gain the muscle memory of sensitive controls, learning ways to communicate of radios, and understanding the standard air procedures. After completing the introductory course, students will be automatically enrolled in the Basic Rotary Flight Training course to learn the basics of flight in the MH-9 Hummingbird using the Arma 3 Helicopters (RotorLib) DLC and advanced flight model. Students who graduate the Basic Rotary Flight Training will have the option to enroll in Advanced Rotary Flight Training involving larger airframes to learn safety measures, formation tactics, and instrument flight in preparation for combat.   24. 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit The 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit, aka 4th MRB, is a realism unit in the Arma 3 community. We simulate a fictional unit within the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The 4th MRB is structured and organized identical to a real life MARSOC battalion, with attached supporting USSOCOM units. The 4th MRB was founded by long-serving members of a different Arma 3 realism unit which emulates another real life United States Marine Corps Unit. The 4th MRB attempts to maintain the discipline, professionalism, and esprit de corps of real US Marine special operators. The fun and excitement members of this unit enjoy is the result of the difficult and challenging operations we are asked to perform and in developing skills and unique tactics commonly practiced by special operators within the special operations community.   25. Hi, 99th Death Division is a group of people from NA and parts of Europe that get together every week for an immersive zeus event that includes realism and fun. We are looking for people (preferably 18 or older) that are interested in experiencing immersive, realistic community events and have fun doing it. We have a rank structure, however we do not do hyper-realism events such as marches or range etiquette. There is a training requirement for joining but it is just to test if you have a basic understanding of the game and are the kind of person we are looking for. While we prefer 18 or older, we will not turn you away if you are below that age, but you will have to prove your maturity and ability to listen. We will not recruit anyone below the age of 14, NO EXCEPTIONS. The main server we play on is currently 16 slots (mainly because this group was just founded), however we may expand that in the future as our group expands.
