TPW MODS TPW MODS is a modular and highly configurable suite of addons designed to increase the civilian, environmental, sonic, climatic and military ambience and realism of the A3 single player experience without requiring any scripting or module placement. You can use the TPW MODS of your choice to enhance any existing missions and campaigns, or to simply turn any empty map into a living world a la Far Cry 3 or 4, with endless replayability and a host of subtle realism and immersion touches that you probably won't even notice until you play without them. All mods interoperate well, are light on resources and a lot of work has gone into optimising them so they should not cause undue slowdowns or framerate issues. I have to be honest, OPEX has totally be inspired by MSO (Multi-Session Operations) from ArmA II (and all successors from ArmA III: Patrol Operations 3, ALiVE... which are all inspired from code34's Warcontext mission), so all credits must go to their developpment teams. Firstly, I tried to customize original MSO but I finally choose to rebuild everything from the scratch. It's certainly not as good as MSO/PO/ALiVE but after more than 5 years of development (yeah, really !), and even if there are still many things to do (correct all bugs, create version for other maps, add new tasks, optimize all scripts...) I must say I'm pretty satisfied of what I did so far. KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES (any help is welcome !) Picture pictures\overview.paa not found at startup when joining server despite the picture is present in the mission folder, I don't know how to fix this. Ambient civilian vehicles are sometimes spawning on buildings (so they explode) when playing on some unofficial maps. It seems to happen because some ArmA I / ArmA II buildings are not recognized by the engine ? The armory may take some time to initialize ion MP (you may see a few weapons or objects flying at start-up). Just wait a few seconds, everything should automatically move on the walls (maybe a server sync problem ?). Ambient AI animations may sometimes be weired when playing on MP TO DO LIST (Extreme prioriy): fix all bugs reported by the community (High priority): add many new tasks (High prioriy): create version for many other maps (High priority): always reduce addon dependency as much as possible (Medium priority): add more details to briefings (Medium priority): add notes and tips (example: how to use tactical glasses...) (Medium priority): optimize and tweak all scripts and functions (or better: rewrite everything because so many time has passed since the first code I wrote !) (Low priority): correct current localizations and add new ones (will require some translators !) It’s been an incredible ride so far, and I can’t wait to see this community grow. TF Timberwolf is a tactical roleplay/tactical realism group. We are all about creating a fun, immersive experience. We play missions for the overall experience and the awesome feeling that comes with combined arms gameplay.   4. Welcome to the 22nd JSOC "Ironhorse" - a fresh, Arma 3 milsim community, now open for recruitment. The 22nd JSOC Realism Unit was founded in January of 2018 by a group of veteran ArmA Realism members who felt like they could create an environment that was reliable, trustworthy, and friendly. The primary focus of the 22nd is on utilizing real to life tactics, techniques, protocol, and communication, while keeping it fun and friendly at the same time. We have Detachments anywhere from Infantry, Rotary, Fixed-Wing, PJ's, CIA, Armoured, and more! At its core, a realism unit is a role-playing unit. We strive to promote an immersive and professional environment for members to role-play in by providing a unique and structured military experience. When in-game, members are expected to act as if they are on a foreign battlefield or in a domestic training environment. For these reasons, the minimum age to join the 22nd is 17 years old, with a probationary period for those younger. The goal of the unit is to always balance the realism with fun. If members are not enjoying the experience, then there is no point in the unit existing. When there comes a point at which a decision between the two has to be made, we always have to remember that this is a game and we are here for entertainment, and we may from time to time err on the side of fun. ZEUS: We have active storytellers and mission planners to put together full missions from scratch. Alive Module: This mod has been carefully edited and tweaked to ensure an immersive experience in the world. Now, towns have AI civilians and OPFOR that will spawn and generate opinions of our unit while deployed in that area. Civilian casualties will only hurt public relations, and may even force more locals to join the enemy side and ambush us during patrols!   5. Started in 2017 the 21st Special Elite Ground and Air Force (SEGAF) has been looking to bring a new meaning in combat situations surrounding the everyday battles of Arma 3. To help & teach soldiers will make them become elite fighters and break away from the normal into a new type of fighting force we aim to be. While promoting fun and enjoyment players are always looking to push for realism & dedication which will make this Force stand out from the rest. We have our own TeamSpeak & Private Arma 3 server with a fully operational base(on several maps) and run official operations every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. With the addition of non official events that can occur daily. Occasionally we do have special events for example VIETNAM, WW2 or any other custom made missions made by the group members.   9. What is our unit? The Essex Regiment is a Second World War UK based unit that attempts to recreate a realistic portrayal of the British military during the mid 20th century period. We are a serious milsim, meaning that when on operations, members should be serious and follow designated procedures. The Essex Regiment focuses mainly on conventional warfare, meaning most missions will be lively and kinetic. Occasionally we may also perform counter-insurgencies and other less conventional operations. The Essex Regiment uses a rank system based on the British Army during the Second World War period. In our unit, players will receive promotions and commendations based on their merit and dedication with the unit and not solely based on their role. This means that members will be rewarded for their capability, knowledge and time devoted to the unit. Who is our unit based on? We are based on the Essex Regiment. It fought during many of the different campaigns throughout the Second World War. From the battle of France in 1940 until the fall of Germany in 1945. Our unit won't strictly follow all the campaigns followed by the Essex Regiment as we feel that campaigns such as Norway and Burma and others set in the final days of Empire will allow for differentiation in combat and environment. However the unit will try to stick as close as possible while keeping game-play fun and engaging and will undertake campaigns in a chronological order of events mirroring the events of the Second World War and its immediate aftermath. When do we play? We have two events a week. We conduct exercises and training on thursdays at 2000 GMT (in summer this changes to GMT+1) and operations on sunday at 2000 GMT (again changing to GMT+1 in Summer). How can I join? If you're interested in joining our unit, you must be of 16 years of age or above. If you are below 16, it is possible that you may still join the unit but you must have a mature attitude. The interview process will take a bit longer as your place in the unit will be discussed with other interviewers. I would like to ask if it is possible to add a simple and easy to use way that allow players to refill/repack their used magazines? Very often I end up having multiple used and half empty mags in my inventory that become not only useless in a CQC situation but also dangerous and I can not trust in my weapon as much anymore. It's about realism, or maybe the "simulation" aspect I'm missing a little. And I hardly believe it is THAT complicated to realize. Just a simple thing like drag&drop one magazine over another and one gets filled... It's simple but a real life changer! Overall I'd like to imagine having an option to fill your magazine by your likings, like I can sort myself what round come in what order. Like I want every 3 rounds to be a tracer, or a green tracer and the next one is a red one, or I want 5 rounds super sonic, 5 subsonic... Maybe you have a change to do something like that :) LJ

I used the AAF to give it a more modern day feel while keeping it vanilla. Used Tanoa to give it a vietnam flavor. Steam description: Step into the shoes of a soldier in an EOD unit during operations on Tanoa. The AAF have been engaged with Syndikat and remnants of the former dictatorship's loyalist army for the last 8 months. The guerrillas have access to large pre-overthrow stockpiles of anti-tank and anti-personell mines as well as improved explosive devices. Because of this our EOD unit has been kept busy during the occupation. During today's operation we will be escorting a tank platoon along a main supply route and clearing any minefields using our mine clearing rockets from the bobcat. We have multiple infantry units currently executing various missions and raids accross the island so be prepared to get tasked away to help them clear any explosives they encounter.   24. The Second NATO Colationary Force is a full English speaking Arma 3 Miltary simulation group, designed to have a realistic experience mixed with fun. The unit is based on a semi-fake story, nothing that is said is true and does not reflect the real life, the stories are based on what is happening but are dynamic and what the players do matters, creating a timeline of sorts. There is a flow chart on the forums showing you the current progression of a particular operation or the entire campaign. The unit is designed to be a low-medium amount of members to keep professionalism manageable and create a more tight community.
