  1. TPW MODS TPW MODS is a modular and highly configurable suite of addons designed to increase the civilian, environmental, sonic, climatic and military ambience and realism of the A3 single player experience without requiring any scripting or module placement. You can use the TPW MODS of your choice to enhance any existing missions and campaigns, or to simply turn any empty map into a living world a la Far Cry, with endless replayability and a host of subtle realism and immersion touches that you probably won't even notice until you play without them. All mods interoperate well, are light on resources and a lot of work has gone into optimising them so they should not cause undue slowdowns or framerate issues. TPW MODS is under constant development, and continues to be refined and expanded largely due to user feedback and suggestions. 2. What's going on folks, myself and another friend are establishing our own dedicated Anizay Liberation game mode server. We've been playing since way back in the day in OFP. We play serious once in game with a massive mod list but trust me, the mods make the game and the immersion is flat out insane. No ranks, no disrespect, no bullshit. Don't troll during operations and you'll be alright. Peep the site, hit me up on steam @ Black 18 + https://anizayliberationteam.weebly.com/
  3. Hi, I'm in Korea and I really like this game. because this game is very very closer to real, better then any helicopters simulators. But something doesn't like real world. for example, 1. Torque Indicator's moving is very strange. 2. Magnetic Compass and Gyro Compass turning same way. 3. N2, NR rpm indicator has one needle(N2) 4. Cyclic stick trim step type moving. 5. Engine Oil Temperature are too fast increase when starting the engine. 6. When take controls to gunner, he doesn't touch any controls. but he can control the aircraft. I wanna fix upper items. But I most want is 1, 2, 3 items. About 1. Torque Indicator's moving is very strange. - Torque doesn't fast increase when starting the engine and moving idle to full open positions. - But in game, it increase to 80 psi. - And N2 rpm increase to 106 %rpm and swing while few seconds. About 2. Magnetic Compass and Gyro Compass turning same way. - In real world, Magnetic Compass turning reverse about Gyro Compass. (if aircraft turning right : Magnetic compass is turning left, Gyro compass is turning right) About 3. N2, NR rpm indicator has one needle(N2) - N2, NR needles are gone. - So when auto-rotation situation, N2/NR doesn't separate. I can't know when engine powered to Missions. About 4. Cyclic stick trim step type moving - In real world, Cyclic stick has trim motor, and it move linear. but in game it move step. - So when I use trim, it move doesn't natural About 5. Engine Oil Temperature are too fast increase when starting the engine. - I think this effect is for users. About 6. When take controls to gunner, he doesn't touch any controls. but he can control the aircraft. - ??? it is real... Thank you for reading. My English skills very low, so I wanna sorry about that. but I want to read and fix someday. Until then I'll play the game. lol

  7. The Wrecking Crew The Wrecking Crew is a realism group that prides itself in its dedication to realistic and enjoyable game play, without the rigid aspects like permanent ranks and having to shout "Yes, sir" at a 14 year old. While we play mostly as British Forces to make coherent training possible, we have a whole host of players who come from all over the world, some as far out as Malaysia and South Africa. You select the role you'd like each week for our editor-driven operations, as long as you are competent and prove yourself by passing the required training sessions for that role, with some not requiring any. This allows you to vary from leading a platoon one week to driving a tank the next. The freedom to experience so many different types of game play without hindrance on the co-operation & enjoyability is something you will struggle to find in most other ArmA groups. Public Server If you would like to experience first hand what it's like to play with TWC, come join us on our public server. It runs different dynamic game modes made entirely in-house with a more relaxed game play than in our operations, but it will still give you a good insight in the community and play style. You don't need to sign up to participate on our public server, just the mods and to connect to our TeamSpeak server. We've created an easy to follow guide on how to get connected here. About our Operations Alongside a public server that runs 24/7, the biggest event our group hosts are weekly 'Operations' with between 20 to 40 people. As well as the occasional 'Joint Operation' with other groups which have encompassed up to 70 people total. Our operations span over a century of warfare, with a monthly rotation of World War 2, Cold War, Turn of the Millennium and Modern Operations. This means that in one month you can liberate a French town from Nazi occupation, halt a Soviet mechanised assault in the plains of Northern Germany, brawl with Iraqi armour in the deserts of Kuwait and patrol through the hills of Afghanistan, searching for insurgents. In these operations any recruit or member can play any role as long as he has received the corresponding training. In our operations we strive for maximum realism. We find real-life solutions for problems that we may face in game, while omitting more tedious parts of military duty like saluting, hour-long marches and range etiquette. We aim for the most immersive experience possible by having minimal HUD, first person only, a single life and using ACRE 2 for communications. Our operations take place on Saturday at 18:30 (UK time) and can last up to four hours or more. Interested in trying it out? If you're interested in participating in public, or signing up to try out our operations, you can check out our website for more information: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/. Alternatively, you can contact us on Discord, or pop directly onto TeamSpeak where any member will be willing to help you join with no hassle.
  8. The Revenant Group is looking for players who want to be part of a specialised unit focused on countering a variety of asymmetrical and unconventional threats in a wide theatre of combat environments. We try to make things as realistic as the game will allow and we welcome players that are new to the game or just new to mil-sim/tactical sim. We will teach you as much as you are willing to learn. Operations are broken into two phases, the ISR Phase and the Execution Phase. The ISR Phase begins two to three days before the Execution Phase. During this phase players can recon the objective and gather intelligence. This information is then used to create the OPORD for the Execution Phase of the operation. Once the ISR Phase concludes, the Execution Phase begins. Operations and training are held three to five times throughout the week, typically starting at 2000 GMT, with a focus on tactical realism. We do not discriminate against nationality, race, gender, or religion. What you can expect: No Customs & Courtesies (saluting, calling the room to attention, terms of address) No set training pipeline (training is tailored to each player) No 3rd Person No enhanced map data No dynamic cross-hair No NVGs while looking down sights ACE3 Advanced Medical System ACE3 Advanced Ballistics System Stamina Enabled Advanced Combat Radio Environment 2 (ACRE2) Uniform & Equipment Standards Cooperative PvE Missions Positions: Assaulter, Grenadier, Autorifleman, Breacher, Medic, Zeus, Pilot (rotary/fixed) You can read up on the process for joining REVGRU here. 9. by Gemini "OPEX is a masterpiece." (Sowens) "This mod is awesome and should be approved by Bohemia." (Unknown) "You have made what I've been looking for since a very long time." (Guim's) "My friends and I are now only playing this mission." (Neall) "It's a titan work. Respect." (BingaNarko) "Thank you and go on, you're the best dude I have a poor PC and OPEX is running fantastic." (NeXoWw) "God bless you !! To be honest I've never seen someone who is so reactive and attentive to the community's feedback." (Bobzap / Sayker) "This mission is becoming so epic. I love it."(xaxa) ..... DESCRIPTION OPEX: Opérations Extérieures (External Operations) is an immersive fully dynamical task generator introducing the French Army fighting against terrorist organizations all over the world ! AUTHOR'S NOTE Bonjour ! I have to be honest, OPEX has totally be inspired by MSO (Multi-Session Operations) from ArmA II (and all successors from ArmA III: Patrol Operations 3, ALiVE... which are inspired from code34's Warcontext mission), so all credits must go to their development teams. After I tried it, I thought the idea of a fully dynamical task generator was brilliant, but there was some features that was not perfectly fitting to what I was expecting and some others that was missing. Firstly, I tried to customize original MSO but I finally choose to rebuild everything from the scratch. It's certainly not as good as MSO/PO/ALiVE but after more than 5 years of development (yeah, really !), and even if there are still many things to do (correct all bugs, create version for other maps, add new tasks, optimize all scripts...) I must say I'm pretty satisfied of what I did so far. It was initially a personnal project, but I thought maybe someone else could now be interested too so I'm proud to present today the first public relase ! I hope some of you will enjoy... MAIN FEATURES SP & MP compatible Option menu at startup to customize the mission by enabling/disabling/modifying included features Mission entirely built with random parameters for unlimited replayability Let the engine select a random task or select it by yourself among various ones (patrol, defend, attack, rescue...) Additional unique tasks depending on maps, to use some of their unique features (example: searching for caves on FATA...) Fully unpredictible situations to increase stress and realism: in opposite of most of all other similar task generators, enemy strength is fully random and is not based on players numbers Many random AI activities: patrols, ambushes, assaults, kamikazes, weapons caches, IEDs... Dynamical civilian activities Civilian interactions Dynamical reputation: take care of the local population, otherwise it may rise against you Credits system to recruit AI units and to order supplies and vehicles Gain credits when performing good actions (succeeding task, destroying weapon cache, neutralizing IED, arresting suspect...) Lose credits when performing bad actions (failing task, killing civilian, arresting innocent people...) Unlock AI supports by succeeding tasks (example: rescue a pilot to unlock airstrike support) Random starting time with faster day/night cycle to simulates long time operations Improved AI friendly units: they are now able to automatically assign/unassign NVG/flashlight/silencer by themselves, depending on the daytime and on their behaviour instructions Improved AI enemy units: they are now able to board into the nearest empty armed vehicle / static defense in case of danger Optimized AI behaviour (thanks to R3F AiComTarget script) Move and transport almost every item (thanks to R3F Logistic script) Random and dynamic weather (thanks to code34 for his script - I modified it a bit so weather's evolution is now depending on world regions) Ambiance house lights and ambiance animals (thanks to TPW for his scripts) Futurist but realistic electronic tactical glasses (thanks to TPW for his script - I modified it to create motion detector and hearbeat functions) Live video feeds (thanks to BangaBob for his script) Drag injured and dead bodies (thanks to BangaBog for his script) Little immersion tweaks: light sensitive map and NVG's optimized utilisation (thanks to Viperidae for his scripts) Map gestures with nearby players (thanks to dslyecxi for his script) Customizable MP synchronized music receiver for listening music tracks into vehicles Revive & respawn systems Primary needs function: eat, drink and sleep to avoid bad effects Fully functionnal HQ: refuel vehicles, rearm, treat yourself and eat/drink/sleep into the dedicated areas Functions to deactivate/delete that usless units and vehicles to save computer/server ressources Semi-persistent mission*: you can save your progression between each task Compatible with Zeus Compatible with additional mods (ACE3, TFAR, ACRE2, bCombat, ASR AI3, Winter 2035...) French and English localizations And much more ! VIDEOS PICTURES GAMEPLAY SERIES [FR] MrRatSuper [FR] TypeX [FR] Faiavan INTERVIEWS [FR] RackBoy REQUIRED ADDONS / DEPENDENCIES New ! Altis and Tanoa versions of OPEX are now playable WITHOUT ANY MOD (but be aware, in this case some features are disabled) ! In a perfect world, I wish I could avoid gamers to download any addon or mod. But as the main goal of OPEX is to bring a fun and different ArmA experience, and if you are getting bored to play as a US soldier, take some time for downloading these files (most of them are used by a large part of the ArmA community by the way): Download all required addons with only one click by subscribing the official OPEX mod collection on Steam. Download all optional addons with only one click by subscribing the official OPEX extra mod collection on Steam. Note that OPEX is compatible with: ACE3 Task Force Radio ACRE2 Winter 2035 COMMUNITY FEEDBACK Don't hesitate to share your feedback, your suggestions and to report all bugs you may have encountered here on the official BIS forum, or on Steam. KNOWN BUGS/ISSUES (any help is welcome !) Picture pictures\overview.paa not found at startup when joining server despite the picture is present in the mission folder, I don't know how to fix this. Ambient civilian vehicles are sometimes spawning on buildings (so they explode) when playing on some unofficial maps. It seems to happen because some ArmA I / ArmA II buildings are not recognized by the engine ? The armory may take some time to initialize ion MP (you may see a few weapons or objects flying at start-up). Just wait a few seconds, everything should automatically move on the walls (maybe a server sync problem ?). Ambient AI animations may sometimes be weired when playing on MP TO DO LIST (Extreme prioriy): fix all bugs reported by the community (High priority): add many new tasks (High prioriy): create version for many other maps (High priority): always reduce addon dependency as much as possible (Medium priority): add more details to briefings (Medium priority): add notes and tips (example: how to use tactical glasses...) (Medium priority): optimize and tweak all scripts and functions (or better: rewrite everything because so many time has passed since the first code I wrote !) (Low priority): correct current localizations and add new ones (will require some translators !) (Low priority): create more information for each civilian (date of birth, adress, job...) via setVariable command in Gemini_fnc_civilianInteractionsBehaviours function, so scan interaction could be more interesting (Low priority): maybe replace current units and vehicles with more realistic ones when they will be available (OFrP ?) SPECIAL THANKS Bohemia Interactive, for the best military games ever (OFP/ArmA serie) code34 and MSO/PO3/ALiVE developpers, for the dynamic/random mission concept Kamih, for the first MP tests during the early development HeroesandvillainsOS, Vengeance1, Scimitar and Sumsun93 for their precious feedbacks BangaBob, for the live feed and drag body scripts Binesi, for the defend/patrol tasks scripts code34, for the dyamic and MP compatible weather script dslyecxi, for the ShackTack Map Gestures script KC Grimes, for the building occupation script Killzone Kid, for its optimized random position script R3F team, for their Logistic and AiComTarget scripts Seth Duda, for its towing scripts TPW, for the hud, houselights, streetlights and animals scripts Viperidae, for the Little Immersion Tweaks scripts Meh44, for the Russian translation Tonic, for the Virtual Vehicle Spawner script All addon and mod makers whose creations are used in this mission: ACE team, ACRE team, CBA team, CUP team, Icebreakr, James2464, Keeway, Minimalco & Robster, Nkey, R3F team, RHS team, X-Cam team And fore sure, thanks to all the OFP/ArmA community for thinking, creating and sharing so many brilliant additionnal content If I forgot to mention someone, please excuse me and contact me ! 12. Hi there, The 1st Brigade, Australian Army MILSIM Unit was started after us seeing a real opening in the Oceanic region. We strive to be as realistic as possible, emulating the real world unit to the best of our ability. This is not for everyone, but if have a love for immersion and simulation, think you may be interested in joining the ADF in the future, or are ex/current serving we are definitely the unit for you. We follow the real world organisational structure, rank structure and procedures to the best of our ability, but also note that if we are doing something wrong we will change it if made aware. I have confidence in saying that we are the only zero compromises ArmA 3 MILSIM unit in the Oceanic region. Outside of operations, we work on a consensus based governance structure allowing for input from the community in how the unit will be run. We strongly feel that while top down leadership works in a real world military, it does not work in a gaming community and that is what we are. Because of this, all our HQ meetings are open, minutes are distributed and if notice is given anyone can have the chance to talk to an issue. Who we emulate: As the name suggests, we emulate the 1st Brigade of the Australian Army. We are open to emulating any regiment/battalion within 1BDE in the future, although currently we emulate: 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment (7RAR) - Mechanised Infantry 1st Armoured Regiment (1AR) - Armoured Cavalry M1A1 Abrams and ASLAVs Requirements: You must be at least 17 years of age to play in this unit. You don't need to have a lot of previous ArmA experience, but it will help. You will need to partake in our training program. You will have respect for your superiors, subordinates and peers. You will be committed to being serious and mature during operations. When do we play: We do operations every Friday and Saturday at 7pm AEST. Attendance during Friday operations should be at least 75% if you have a position in the ORBAT. If you are a reserve, attendance should be at least 50%. If you are not able to attend required operations, you should contact your superior or someone from Staff Section 1. How do you apply: Applications are handled through our website. Before you apply, make sure you have read the information on our about page and the recruitment page. https://1brigade.com/ If you have any more questions, please check out our website: https://1brigade.com/We have an in depth Wiki that explains a lot of things in this unit that we are constantly adding to. I look forward to hearing from you, LtCol L.Thompson Chief Commanding Officer | 1st Brigade Headquarters Commanding Officer | 7th Battalion, Royal Australian Regiment Email: l.thompson@1brigade.com

  14. About us Founded in 2017 under another name and reactivated in September 2018 after a break, the Jaeger Battalion 4 is a WWII based realism unit representing an Finnish battalion during the war. We value activity, fun and the unique historic setting. We still try to steer away from the "niche" and negative sides of Milsim gameplay; not focusing on unnecessary details. We're still a small sized crew, however we are actively recruiting people in our ranks. All what is needed is maturity, open mindedness and ability to work together as a unit. We desire our members to hold up a certain etiquette within our ranks by respecting our rules, the general behavior, attitude and goal of the unit. This is to make that everyone can enjoy our events without any drama or non-tolerated behavior. Missions: Variety & Fun Jaeger Battalion 4 is based around an historical Finnish Jaeger battalion. This gives us variety of different missions and styles of playing through the three wars the battalion took part in. Though we may cover some other units in specific scenarios. Our missions will be part of bigger campaigns. Campaigns are chain of events which affect each other. Each campaign will be about a specific event or an specific battle. We will try to visit as many fronts as possible and provide our members with a good overview on the war. What were/are the "Jaegers"? In 1914, Finland was part of the Russian Empire, as an result of russification, there was many forms of resistance. Especially younger students were active. Many underwent military training which Germany provided and thus Jäger-Bataillon Nr.27 became the first purely Finnish unit. This battalion fought in the Eastern Front in WW1 and arrived home amidst a brutal civil war. Their skills were put to an test by making them the NCO's and officers of the freshly created White Army. In the following years, the old Jaegers were shaping the creation of the Finnish Defence Forces. In 1936, the Jaeger traditions were given to numerous units: names, marches and colours of many bicycle units were changed. Vuoksen Jääkäripataljoona (founded 1918 and had numerous name changes) was then renamed to Jääkäripataljoona 4, name which the battalion were to hold in World War 2. Jaeger troops were trained to master fighting as ski infantry in the winter and as bicycle infantry in the summer. Battalion's logistics and support units were also extensively motorized. In the Winter War (1939-1940) the Jaeger Battalions consisted of younger conscripts and career personnel. As a result of this they received better equipment and more demanding tasks than normal infantry units. Jaeger Battalion 4 was among the best troops of the army, fighting on numerous fronts of the war. Current event schedule Saturday Event - 8 PM CEST Sunday Training - 8 PM CEST Open roles (can apply after basic training) We use an historical squad and platoon structure. Thus some roles may be specialized upon or rare. Following is an list of current available (more may be available in the future) specializations in-addition to the Rifleman. In addition; personal equipment may wary according to the scenario. 18. 171st Combat Brigade 9th Armoured Combat Detachment Who we are Built upon serving armoured veterans and current serving personnel, we are a platoon/troop level organisation dedicated to providing the 171st Combat Brigade with personnel who specialize in armoured warfare. Our mission is to close with and destroy the enemy using fire, maneuver and shock action to enable the 171st to achieve mission success. Much like the rest of the 171st, we are committed to achieving a challenging and realistic mil-sim experience to provide a teaching and experience-building platform for both in-game and real life military skills in an enjoyable way. Similarly we aim to create and provide a community for which to casually interact with each other outside of the game environment as well. Our unit seeks to take our community to other games to expand upon our interests and palate but predominantly: we aim to provide the high standard and format of game play that our unit/community members expect and enjoy. Who we require To fill operational needs, we require 18 personnel to join our ranks and become armoured crewman capable of manning both M1 Abrams series of Main Battle Tanks and a plethora of MRAP mobility vehicles. The person joining us must not only be committed to learning the armoured trade but have a peculiar dedication to the unit to provide mission capability: there is one compulsory operation day on Saturdays 1900R (Romeo) (EST-Eastern Standard). What you can expect Unlike conventional infantry or special forces, armoured brethren have a unique bond that is noticeably casual and close between the rank structure filled with interesting and humourous banter. The nature of our job requires the crew to be in-sync with each other as much as possible to ensure that steel meets target. An excellent crew is unmatched on the battlefield, mastery of this profession ascends you to a level that cannot be unsurpassed by any land (or even air!) platform. Our missions are dynamic, complex and challenging: our servers are built using systems such as ALIVE, Spyder and other in-house tweaks and scripts in order to bring to life the 171st Combat Brigade concept of the original MSO style game play in past Arma titles. Furthermore, as a community we regularly play other games with each other purely to let of steam as well as ensuring that we prevent ourselves from burning out from doing the same thing repetitively. Would you like to know more? https://units.arma3.com/unit/171st-combat-brigade https://steamcommunity.com/groups/171CB If you are interested, please don't hesitate to contact the 171st expressing interest in the 9th Armoured Combat Detachment or myself directly through the Bohemia forums. I will en devour to respond to you as soon as possible.
  19. Hi, 99th Death Division is a group of people from NA and parts of Europe that get together every week for an immersive zeus event that includes realism and fun. We are looking for people (preferably 18 or older) that are interested in experiencing immersive, realistic community events and have fun doing it. We have a rank structure, however we do not do hyper-realism events such as marches or range etiquette. There is a training requirement for joining but it is just to test if you have a basic understanding of the game and are the kind of person we are looking for. While we prefer 18 or older, we will not turn you away if you are below that age, but you will have to prove your maturity and ability to listen. We will not recruit anyone below the age of 14, NO EXCEPTIONS. The main server we play on is currently 16 slots (mainly because this group was just founded), however we may expand that in the future as our group expands. If you would like to join, we currently meet on our Discord Channel on either Friday or Saturday at 10:30 pm EST. Discord Server:https://discord.gg/QenV27M
  20. 2 PARA is a British Realism unit. We started off in ARMA 2 in 2014, but have now returned in ARMA 3, with many of our old members joining back to re-create the fun we had back then. Our aim is to provide a realistic, but fun experience to all of our members through our high quality missions every Saturday at 8pm GMT (Or BST during summer). We use a variety of mods, such as ACE, ACRE, and a collection of British Unit and vehicle mods to allow us to emulate the parachute regiment. Why join us? We play Arma in a tactical, realistic way, using teamwork to achieve our objectives. We have a simple phase one training, therefore this group is perfect for those that want a mature, tactical community, but maybe don’t have the time or the interest in hyper-realistic milsim groups as we don't try to match the real world procedures. The term we use to describe this is 'casual milsim'. If you cannot attend every mission due to other commitments or uncertainty, you can also join the reserves; this allows you to join in when you’re able, although you won’t be able to have any specialist roles. Requirements We have some basic requirements we ask from people joining, but the most important is for people to be mature when we are playing: Mature Working Microphone Own Arma 3 (No DLC required) Speak English fluently Can attend trainings/missions at times above (unless reserves) Not in another group already (that clashes with our times) Extra Info We use highly modified and simplified British tactics to fit the game. Our main aim is to have fun. We aim to achieve this by using teamwork in an efficient and professional manner. The ranks we have are 'functional’. They only exist to fit their own function. For example, as we are only up to one section currently, there is only a need for a Cpl to lead them. We are based on the Parachute Regiment, therefore our main role in conventional warfare will be para-drops and air assaults. Whereas, in counter insurgency campaigns, we will be replicating what most modern forces do in conflicts like Afghanistan and Iraq. You do not need a specific interest in the Parachute Regiment or the British Army to join, although you will get most out of the unit if you do. If this post has managed to persuade you to sign up or at least ask a few more questions of what we can do for you, then either sign up on the website - https://2-para.co.uk/ - or, add me on Steam - razer313 Thanks for reading, hope to see you soon!

  22. Who are we? Remaining together for more than a decade, the 242nd has defined itself as a mature, dynamic, and decisively stable community. We value skill and success over flash and paperwork, always seeking to improve ourselves against both AI and human opponents. Join us to participate in our vision of an aggressive, agile and hard-hitting team of teachers. Over the 10 years for which our community has stood the test of time, we've avoided the drama that has claimed the legacies of so many other clans. We've chosen to eschew the flashy "sir-yes-sir" and useless "Training courses", unnecessary paperwork, over complicated or poorly done missions of the typical arma experience, and have instead chosen to challenge ourselves to succeed in the game, raising the bar in how we can apply both individual and team skillsets. Gameplay Loop Ranks are dropped at the slot in screen. If the unit leader ends up as a fireteam member of the team you lead, then he follows your orders. Training allows people to specialize and focus their gameplay, but you'll be expected to master all of the basic weapons and roles of an infantryman first and foremost. In any given session, expect to play the role you're given, but also expect to be given many roles over a session. You might start your first mission as a grenadier, but end the night having flown a helicopter, lead a fireteam, or driven an IFV. Agility and skill are the cornerstones of what the 242nd is about. ArmA is a game of vast possibilities, and while we follow stringent procedures for organization, we embrace these possibilities. Expect a great deal of time without a magnified scope. Our missions are rarely if ever Zeus curated. Our mission makers painstakingly craft different experiences using the Eden editor. This allows us to maintain peak server performance while well as truly rich and interesting scenarios. These missions have a real failure point, and tons of replay value. Expect to see yourself and your unit lose on occasion. Expect to come together with your team and discuss what went wrong and how we can improve. Expect your contributions to matter. Don't expect it to be easy. Joining Process You can either opt for an interview by joining us on teamspeak and contacting the leader, CPT. Helios, or any NCO, or you can drop an application on our website and we'll get back to you very shortly. Once accetped, you'll go through a no-strings attached application process. You'll download the mods, and play with us in our operations as a fireteam member. If you don't want training, you don't have to take it yet. If, at the end of two weeks we find that we're not suited for each other, then the process stops there. For most people who walk through the doors, that's where the fun begins. 23. 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit The 4th Marine Raider Battalion Realism Unit, aka 4th MRB, is a realism unit in the Arma 3 community. We simulate a fictional unit within the Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC) of the United States Marine Corps (USMC) and United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). The 4th MRB is structured and organized identical to a real life MARSOC battalion, with attached supporting USSOCOM units. The 4th MRB was founded by long-serving members of a different Arma 3 realism unit which emulates another real life United States Marine Corps Unit. The 4th MRB attempts to maintain the discipline, professionalism, and esprit de corps of real US Marine special operators. The fun and excitement members of this unit enjoy is the result of the difficult and challenging operations we are asked to perform and in developing skills and unique tactics commonly practiced by special operators within the special operations community. These typically include (though are not limited to) direct action missions, special reconnaissance, foreign internal defense, counter-insurgency, unconventional warfare, maritime interdiction, counter-narco terrorism, hostage rescue, preparation of the environment, security force assistance, gas & oil platform operations, and special clandestine operations. Based out of Marine Camp Currin, Bozacaada, Turkey - the unit currently consists 4th Marine Raider Battalion, 4th Marine Raider Support Battalion, and associated SOCOM supporting elements from 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (Airborne) and 27th Special Operations Group, 27th Special Operations Wing. The 4th MRB is an immersion-orientated, role-playing realism unit. By considering an application you have similar interests. 24. Hey there, Der Server a small community of friends are looking to expand our current roster of eight. We come from around the globe EU, US, and CN. With this being said our missions run around a time to suit a majority. We are a mature group but also all get along really well and can have some good banter. The community plays with an relaxed approach towards playing “realism missions” and being part of the “realism community”. We don’t expect you to call higher ranking members sir, ma’am, do rigorous training courses, or know everything out of a tactical handbook. Instead we use the available mods to develop missions which would be played in a fun manner whilst also trying to tactically play out the mission. Each week the mission changes unless it’s a campaign so there’s never any set faction or playstyle we would be playing for weeks on end it helps to keep things fresh! TL:DR: if you like to play realism missions but don’t want to have to go through the hassle of training etc with a community then this is the place for you! There are some slight rules that what we adhere to and would like future members to adhere to:- -Speak fluent English with a working microphone and headset -17 years + -Ability to follow orders from others (in-game command structure system) -Be respectful and mindful of others We have recently made a switch to discord to arrange missions and will be used as a hub for the community ongoing however we still use teamspeak for voice comms. If you are interested join and drop me a message I’m usually always available! Thanks and I hope to see you around!
