  3. Field of war (Formerly known as GcCTI) FOW is AI commander led CTI mission which creates a dynamic battlefield for the players to play on. Player can help the AI to capture towns or go solo and fight wherever he wants to help the team to win Current version: 0.9.35 This mission is WIP but can already be played.   4. After releasing my original mission in 2014, I have since been working tirelessly on this scenario privately. There are probably close to 500 hours worth of SQF code in this 1mb mission file. Your task force stationed in Anizay is assigned dynamic and complex objectives in a 5km x 5km open world. Operators will need to work tightly with their team as the majority of tasks have complex conditions such as hostage executions or explosive timers. The supported player counts are from 1-24 however 5-15 is optimal. Discord, TFR or ACRE are not required, but I very much doubt you will succeed at many objectives without a suitable method of communication.     co10 Escape

    The mission In this mission you and your squad was send out to scout the military presence on an enemy island in preparation for an invasion. But your squad got captured by local layalists and you are now held in an improvised prison awaiting enemy officers to arrive for questioning. But friendly insurgent managed to hide a backpack with weapons in your improvised prison. Your task is now to overwhelm the guards, escape the prison, find a map of the island, make contact with your HQ, reach the designated evacuation zone and escape the enemy island! The mission is fully dynamic. Every playthrough will be different. Also the mission is quite hard to beat completly. You will definitly fail at the first try. But the mission is meant to be played more than once (infact our squad plays it serveral times the week). About the mission Escape was first devloped by Engima of Östgöta Ops. for ArmA2. At that time me (NeoArmageddon) and Scruffy ported the mission to different islands and began customizing the mission. When ArmA3 was released, Vormulac and HyperZ made the effort to port the mission over to ArmA3. From that point on Scruffy and me improved and fixed the mission to the current state. Most of the scripts are replaced and were updated to A3 standards. At this point the mission can surely be considered a complete new A3 mission and not a port from A2. I lost track... For A2 terrains AiA TP works but I strongly suggest using the newer CUP TP! Also there are serveral flavours of the mission with different unit sets. At the moment there is a version without any mods called "Vanilla" (except the terrain you are on) and the following mods: RHS CUP APEX (DLC) Contact (DLC) Global Mobilization (CDLC) We tried to compose a unitset for every terrain that match the scenery. We plan to add more mods and terrains in the future but we also want to release the tools to port the mission. Release notes To port this missions with more than 15 different mod setups to more than 65 terrains (overall we have produced 580 missions) we used an autocompiler that merges one codebase and the different config files. With this huge amount of mission we were not able to check every mission. When one of the missions seems to behave different (broken start, missing units, etc) please post the missionname here in the thread and we will fix the problem ASAP. This mission was build for dedicated server use! For statistics and improving this mission at the end of each session (fail or win) the result of the mission is stored anonymous on a server. Version, terrain, playercount, session length, servername and type of mission ending is sent. No personal informations like IP, player names, etc are sent or stored. This function can be disabled in the parameters. Download Mirrors IMPORTANT: The workshop release is not packed as single mission but as an addon/mod with multiplayer missions in it. If workshop files (or addonfiles from complete pack) are used on a server, all players need the addon files. Gameplay Soldiers randomly garrisoned in and around the compounds - (Each play through is different!) Roaming infantry patrols will seek you out if you make your presence known. Random starting positions of several of the objectives. If you play solo you will respawn when you die. Option to recruit AI infantry to command. Full Briefing with Tasks. 18 objectives with tasks. Use your map to locate objectives based on their description for the task. Your enemy is the ISIL forces, also known as ISIS. Player's faction is Blufor (RHS - USA SOCOM / MARSOC). Start at a large FOB and drive, or fly to the AO. Advice & Tips Know that the enemy has anti air, locate it and destroy it before flying in or calling in for CAS support. Take your time, patience and recon are crucial in surviving in this mission. Theres no wrong way to approach or do an objective, but rushing and carelessness will cost you. Slow is smooth, smooth is fast. Check the rooftops, windows, doorways, and your corners before you make your move. Shooting your weapon will draw their attention, so shoot and scoot! Use your support Assets, they are limited but can maximize your efforts if used at the right time. Playing Coop means working together, covering the other guy, reviving/giving aid/ammo. Use the terrain to your advantage, as a long range fighter many threats can be eliminated from afar. Move to cover from cover, and look for the next position of cover for your next move. Do your recon, assess the terrain, plan your move, look at where there is cover. When in doubt throw a grenade. When the enemy has an idea or is zeroed in on your position, MOVE! Move diagonally, laterally, not straight when being shot at. Arc your doors and openings, doing so will allow you to peer the inside flanks. Close your flanks - after moving into a house with doors, close the door behind you. Dont try to out shoot an enemy that already has a bead on you, move! Use natural, and other light sources to illuminate the enemy surroundings. Dont crest hills and become a silhouette, always crawl and use rocks or bushes to conceal your shape. When searching for enemy, look for silhouettes, or shapes that dont belong, dark on sand stands out. When trying to move closer while an enemy is spotted ahead, put objects (buildings, stones, hard cover) in front of you while moving to hide your movement, and give you cover.   8. Hey, how's it going? Our group, the Cobalt Brotherhood, is a casual Arma 3 group that does cooperative / Zeus operations almost every day at 7pm EST. We host many different types of ops, including different time periods and IPs. Our group culture is very "Hanging with the boys" esque, we use our group both to play Arma and to socialize. We have a (mostly) free arsenal before our ops, so you can bring whatever you like to a mission within reason. We also use ACE3, TFAR, 3CB Factions, RHS, and other mods.   9. Hello everyone! I´ve tried to research for a solution, opened dozens of pbo files and watched hrs and hrs of youtube videos, but i simply need help!!! I like to create small coop missions for our dedicated server. Among a few other problems, I cant figure out, how to make sure, that all clients get their task updates and mission endings at the same time. From what I understand, I have to define global Variables in the init on mission start up. (<- Here is the first problem for me, not sure how to do it right!) Like this? if (!isServer) exitWith {}; missionNameSpace setVariable ["myfirsttask", 0]; publicVariable "myfirsttask"; sleep 1; Ok, found a nice video on youtube on how to get tasks updated within a mission. How EXACTLY to get a trigger on firing the publicVariable "myfirsttask" to achieved? inside trigger on activation: missionNameSpace setVariable ["myfirsttask", 1]; <--- like this ??? Ok, so now how to i trigger the endmission for everyone at the same time? I know I have to use following: "end1" call BIS_fnc_endMission; but how exactly? Do I set up another trigger with publicVariable "myfirsttask" as condition ??? In that regard, I have another issue! I like the endtrigger to fire ONLY when all alive players are within the trigger area AND "myfirsttask" is done! Is that even possible, while revive is enabled? ({ alive _x } count thislist) == 0; <-- This should be part of the trigger?!?? Or do i simply go into editor and sync the whole player group with the last trigger? Last but not least, even though revival is enabled, how to I end the missions, once all players are down at the same time??? I´ve seen many videos and tutorials to most of above topics, but most if not all of them, dont account for the mission being run a dedicated server!!! Do I need and initserver.sqf? If yes, does it mean I also need a initplayerlocal.sqf and an init.sqf? I really really hope to find some help here, thanks for taking the time to read this!!!

What is the difference from this Insurgency compared to traditional Insurgency? The primary difference is that Intel is not dropped when killing certain Insurgents. Rather, it is spawned in random buildings. Small black markers indicate Intel Locations on the map. You can choose hide the markers with lobby parameter. Your orders are to locate Ice Tiger. DAY 09 - DRAGONFLY - Two days ago the 127 Republican Wing Squadron, an elite squadron of TO-199 bombers touched down at Stratis Airbase. The 13th MEU is scheduled to assault Stratis in three days. This can only happen when those TO-199's have been disposed off. We'll advise objectives and targets when you're on the ground. JSOC expects a HVT to arrive and inspect the CSAR Frini base tomorrow. Wolf will eliminate the HVT once he arrives at the base. Due to the sensitive nature of this mission, detailed objectives will be given on a need to know basis once you have reached the RV. Our local on the ground will do an extensive briefing. DAY 02 - KAJMAN FIRE - CSAT has taken over the Abdera Airfield and turned the airfield into a helicopter base. The base is home to the 127 AAC Squadron with 6 or 8 Kajman Attack helicopters and to the 17 Air Support Group. The Kajman is a formidable opponent and can do some serious damage to the upcoming campaign. About one kilometer north east lies the village of Krya Nera. This used to be a little fisherman's village until CSAT stationed a small fleet of attack vessels there. Primary objective: Abdera Airfield, sabotage all Kajman Attack helicopters stationed at the airfield. Secondary objective: Krya Nera Naval Base, take control of the Naval Base and wait for further instructions. DAY 03 - SWITCH OFF - CSAT's primary communications station is situated on the outskirts of Kavala. It is essential we disrupt communications before we commence the NATO invasion. The nearby power station provides power to the Kavala region, including the communications station. We need to take both out in order to be sure that CSAT's ability to communicate is disrupted. Primary objective: Sabotage the communications station. Secondary objective: Sabotage the power station. DAY 04 - TOP SCREEN - CSAT's propaganda campaign is out of control. Their fear and retribution series broadcasted on television and radio has caused grave concerns both locally and abroad. We need the local populous on our side once the invasions commences. We need to shut down the Altis Broadcasting Company (ABC) in the Capital of Altis, Pyrgos. Sabotage the ABC headquarters. You'll be filled in on the specifics once you are close to the objective. DAY 05 - BULLSEYE - Maj. F. Kallaziz's replacement has arrived in Pyrgos, Maj. Farrokhzad. We know very little about Maj. Farrokhzad. According to Niko, the major has already made his mark by having tens of civilians arrested. Supposedly there is a public hanging the day after tomorrow. We provide frameworks and custom gamemodes in Arma Reforger for everyone to use. This makes creating a coop or solo scenario very easy for mission makers. No workbench experience yet? Don’t worry, our first tutorials and documentation will lead you through it! And the best thing, it’s already published! The team made several released the last weeks but we feel now ready, to announce this project to the public. You can either use just one framework as a dependency or the whole package with a lot of useful features for creating custom missions. A showcase what features and mechanics are included can be already played in the NightOps - Everon 1985 mini-campaign and we will release custom PvE and PvPvE gamemodes in the near future. What is already done and can be used right now by everyone: Custom Modes Framework (provides ready-to-use Coop gamemode prefabs and some mighty custom trigger for mission design) Dynamic Task Framework (provides a dedicated server working task manager with a lot of custom task trigger) Dynamic Spawn Framework (provides a system to dynamically spawn and de-spawn groups, vehicles and objects and can even use a dynamic faction system to change the spawning units depending on mission header configuration) Everything is covered in a great basic tutorial written by Herbiie and documented well on our website. And more deep dive guides will follow soon about every framework. Next to that, Zeal published a small tutorial about Additional Script utilizing the frameworks in a more specific way about topics, people were asking lately alot. And finally, I want to share a overview about our roadmap for the near future: While we are working already on bigger gamemodes in the background, we are happy to tease the NightOps DYNAMIC COMBAT PATROL mode which will be released soon. We will offer a immersive and persistent combat patrol experience for Arma Reforgers Everon map. And mission makers can use the gamemode out of the box to add it to other custom terrains easily.   18. UnfinishedBusiness is a dynamic and random survival multiplayer mission with PvP elements for 1-20 players. Well, wat? Let me explain 🙂 You are starting as one coop group and will try to accomplish the mission. This group will be the main story line for the entire mission. If the group will be eliminated, the mission will end immediately. Players who will end up being killed however are not just supposed to watch and wait. They will be assigned to a different fractions and will be helping or resisting the main group. The more players are involved in the mission -- the more fun you will get. Fractions (Sides) West: 4th Marine Regiment (4th MR): The Group is conducting peacekeeping operation. It is also has to scout AOC positions and keep eye on its military forces. This group is the main story line for this mission. The mission will ends as soon as the last member of this group will be killed. Rescue Squad: Rescue Squad will try to help main group if it will be forced to leave the island. It's primary mission to find and rescue any military survivors. Spec Ops: The Group is conducting seek and destroy mission. East: Army Corps of Cahri (AOC): Pro Russian military group from the Cahri islands. Is lead by odious leader named Puhlo Pu. They are trying to expand their military presence over the region. Despite to "peaceful measures" they are extremely invading the island with military force. To save it's influence West needs to stop or restrict AOC operations over the region. Independent: Pulau National Guard (PNG): The former leader of the Pulau islands had formed Pulau National Guard to defend and control the territory. After his death different military officers pronounced themselves as the leaders on Pulau Nation. Unfortunately this turns out into civil war. According to the latest reports NPG has been disbanded and turned into several bandit groups. Most noticed are lead by Marcio Moraz, Gonsales Capito and Solomon Maru. We do have information that some of this leaders are supported by AOC. Currently they are fighting over the island for the dominance. Basic description Random infantry skirmish on a random place on the map, you can choose any faction, any weapon and any vehicle and just start fighting. The battles are fast, fierce and fun. The mission purpose is to have some quick arcade fun with whatever faction mod you have. Main features Fast-paced, dynamically generated firefight with infantry and land/air vehicles Compatible with any mod that has proper units definitions Fully customizable, set your own rules, select your gear, pick a location, pick factions 3 game modes: Push, King of the Hill and Team Deathmatch Supports Singleplayer and COOP (up to 8 players) Supports 30 worlds!
