Hey there, Der Server a small community of friends are looking to expand our current roster of eight. We come from around the globe EU, US, and CN. With this being said our missions run around a time to suit a majority. We are a mature group but also all get along really well and can have some good banter. The community plays with an relaxed approach towards playing “realism missions” and being part of the “realism community”. We don’t expect you to call higher ranking members sir, ma’am, do rigorous training courses, or know everything out of a tactical handbook. Instead we use the available mods to develop missions which would be played in a fun manner whilst also trying to tactically play out the mission. Each week the mission changes unless it’s a campaign so there’s never any set faction or playstyle we would be playing for weeks on end it helps to keep things fresh! TL:DR: if you like to play realism missions but don’t want to have to go through the hassle of training etc with a community then this is the place for you! There are some slight rules that what we adhere to and would like future members to adhere to:- -Speak fluent English with a working microphone and headset -17 years + -Ability to follow orders from others (in-game command structure system) -Be respectful and mindful of others We have recently made a switch to discord to arrange missions and will be used as a hub for the community ongoing however we still use teamspeak for voice comms. If you are interested join and drop me a message I’m usually always available! Thanks and I hope to see you around!

Klimik posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SQUADS AND FANPAGESWhat is the 101st Airborne Division? The 101st Airborne Division is a Realism unit which utilizes the Iron Front mod in combination with typical realism mods such as TFAR, and ACE3. We represent the elite paratroopers of the American 101st Airborne Division in the second world war. Our goal is to provide a realistic, and professional combat environment within ArmA III simulating the operations of the American airborne in World War II. Server / Asset Information We currently own two ArmA III dedicated servers to host our events on, as well as a Teamspeak 3 server to facilitate voice communications for the unit. Our public server currently runs Iron Front Liberation as the Allied forces, you only need IFA3Lite and its dependencies downloaded to connect to it! Our platoon drill server is also dedicated and runs our platoon drill map along with our unit modpack. You can download Iron Front ArmA III and its dependencies here on the Steam Workshop : https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=660460283 Teamspeak 3 Server : klimikts.ts.nfoservers.com Website : http://101stabironfront.boards.net/ Steam Group : http://steamcommunity.com/groups/101stIronFront ArmA III Units Page : https://units.arma3.com/unit/101stabifa3 IFA3 Liberation Server : Unit Drill Server : What can I do in the 101st Airborne Division? If you have an inquiry into filling a leadership position, please present any documents you possess relevant to the training/organization/structure/SOP in the position which you desire to fill and explain to us why you should have such a position. Time-wasters and immaturity is not tolerated within leadership. How Can I join? Who Are We? The British Foreign Legion (BFL) is a group of semi-casual Arma 3 milsim players hailing from North America and Europe. The existing community has been around for five years and gone through many facelifts, during which time we've learned what works and what doesn't. We are now seeking to expand our ranks in order to field a much larger unit during operations. For more info, check out our Steam group: http://steamcommunity.com/groups/BritishForeignLegion Training Training sessions are held at the discretion of the CO. An announcement will be posted at least one day in advance, and more often than not two days. If you can't make it, that's fine, but remember that you must attend training to advance in the unit. Operations Operations are generally made in-game with Zeus, however editor-made missions are used semi-frequently as well. Operation types include COIN, urban assault, parachute ops, recon, and HVT/hostage extraction. No operation is completely mandatory, as we realize that people have lives outside of video games. Mods The unit has a modpack, which is a compilation of mods that we deem excellent and beneficial to our gameplay. Age/Required Items You must be 15+ to apply to the BFL, own Arma 3 and Arma 3 Apex, and must have a microphone. Failing to meet these requirements will result in your application being dismissed out of hand. If you are interested in applying, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Regards, Lt. Ryan, BFL Acting CO
