  2. Most community released terrains are tiny, bis made Stratis is tiny 8km where Altis is decent size 30km, so your Jets DLC options are very limited. There are no "flyboys" terrains as good old Bushlurker (RIP, brother) used to call them. But jet pilots don't need to worry because PMC comes to the rescue! Jets DLC PMC Real World Data Terrains for ArmA 3. Real world terrain data is: SRTM heightmap, maps.google.com satellite texture and OpenStreetMap.org roads. This is realistic 1:1 scale terrains for their real life locations, nothing has been scaled down or faked. If not stated otherwise all terrains are 143km x 143km in size with 71,680 x 71,680 resolution satellite texture which is 2 meters / pixel. There are no (or very few) objects placed! Plan is to develop these terrains further, for example populate them with objects (trees, rocks, town/city buildings etc), but no promises.   5. Hi, I'm a bit new to the forums but definitely not new to the Arma series. Anyhow, recently, I was wondering why no one has attempted to create a realistic and contemporary map related to the Syrian and Iraqi wars. While maps like Diyala exist, there are no Syrian maps like Deir Ezzor, Palmyra or Raqqa. Having said that, I've taken it upon myself to start a project. Unfortunately, I have run into a problem. After following PMC's great tutorial titled, "ArmA 3 Real World Data Terrain Tutorial," in conjunction with the Ultimate Terrain Tutorial, I reached a point where I don't believe there was any clear mention of what processes are involved. For example, I have gone through and created all of the necessary files, like heightmaps, satellite textures, etc, but when I got to the point of using L3DT to create attributes and texture files, I ran into a problem. What exactly am I supposed to import into L3DT in order to be able to use TerrainBuilder? I'm looking at the Ultimate Terrain Tutorial, the portion where he talks about TerrainBuilder, and I noticed that he has the following: a satellite texture, a heightmap and a satellite mask. I imported the heightmap (developed in Global Mapper) into L3DT and exported it as necessary. I also figured the satellite texture was the PNG I downloaded with Terraincognita. I managed to import all of these into L3DT and export them as required, but I am puzzled by the satellite mask. Apparently it is generated from an attributes layer but I don't exactly have an attributes layer to accompany these other files. Can someone please guide me into finding an answer? I looked hard but I could not find anything specifically addressing my problem. This is literally the only barrier I have right now and it is a significant one at that. I have my texture and heightmap loaded and attempted to create an attributes layer by scratch, but it only spawns a plain brown (desert) or blue (water) square. It doesn't correspond at all to the parameters of my original files. Thanks in advance,

Ronin Tactical Services started off as a training academy with 25 staff members teaching military, law enforcement, and private investors on ways of thinking and utilizing various tactics in the field. Some instructors accepted small contracts by the US government to train other national armies and law enforcement to combat insurgency and terrorism. They also accepting contracts which involved Ronin advisors to take part in level zero patrol operations with Indigenous Forces accompanied by various NATO troops. These contracts (which were intentional to help expand the organization and side money for staffs) paid really well. More Ronin staff members were going overseas on defense contracts. Some Ronin staffs were also coming home injured or KIA which left more positions to be filled. the organization was short-handed and overstretched. With a lot of changes made to the organization, Ronin Tactical Services expanded from 20 to 1,000 members in 3 months and counting. With defense contracts becoming more popular among other PMCs, the organization expanded into a Security Force while still keeping their academy open. Another branch was open for Security deployments. Ronin Tactical Services are hiring special operators and training staff members for their Special Combat Unit to conduct emergency extract, rescue, recon, escort, special direct action, and other 'SWAT-like' assignments. Ronin Tactical Services are looked at by NATO and UN as a trusted security force that respects the laws of war. Whether you are new to Arma or an experienced player we are looking for all new members and are able to provide training and assistance for those who wish to learn. On February 7th, 2035 a new power came into play in the Tanoa, they called themselves, SWORD. The Strategic Worldwide Organized Regiment Department is a private military Corporation that is fully funded by the Chinese and works for CSAT. Intel suggests they been hiding in the shadows for years and when Death Pack became strong enough to become a threat to CSAT in the Pasific, SWORD came out of the shadows and began military operations against Death Pack. The two PMC's now sworn enemies have fought on several occasions in Iran each side taking heavy losses, each side also winning and losing. Though SWORD may have more military might, Death Pack has always been more brains than bronze. on February 20th, 2035, Ryejin got a call from a United States general giving them an offer they wouldn't refuse, the US general said he would fund them for the next 20 years if they were the wiped out SWORD. Ryejin accepted the offer and informed all his men. Death Pack today(2035) February 21, 2035, Ryejin seek out to old friends well hidden from public view and not only got more recruits and weapons and ammo but a information network that five hackers Ukraine set up were now hired by Ryejin to find any and all Intel they can against SWORD. it was officially time the push SWORD out of Tanoa! DESCRIPTION This faction mod pack includes 2 PMC factions- 2 AI, 2 vehicles each, 5 custom vests, 1 custom helmet. SCREENSHOTS (more images to come) SPECIAL FEATURE On the OPFOR side known as SWORD, their is a AI unit thats to be feared if your on foot! It is called, the Destroyer, based after call of duty MW3 Juggernauts he is the arma 3 version of that same bad guy! His vest and helmet have been set to custom settings where shooting the Destroyer in the head or vest will be pointless if you are using 5.56mm or below. once the vest is on, the player or AI can not run or jog to balance it. Initially this coefficient is 60% but later I will implement others parameters like if the enemy is so injured or if all of your group are dead and others, and these parameters can increase the coefficient to surrender the enemy. Everyone can carry whatever weapon and wear whatever uniform they like (within reason, if you show up with an AS50 you're probably not going to make it very long). Looking for something non-military. We do emulate a lot of military tactics, anyone who tries to operate without doing so gets killed. But we don't emulate a military structure; our leadership are "Directors", full-fledged members are "Operatives" and those who have shown an aptitude for ground leadership (TL+ roles) are "Senior Operatives". We think it makes for a better atmosphere. Unable to commit to a lot of time to a minimum weekly mission count many groups have. We have one sure-fire mission on Saturdays at 1900GMT (1100 Central Time), and PvP on an ad-hoc basis with other groups. You do not have to turn up for any minimum number of them, but it's best if you're typically free around this time. Looking for a certain level of tactical realism. We use ACE with pretty much everything turned on, although we do allow respawns since we're not a very large group.   21. Background: April 2003. Political tensions seasoned with the occasional armed incidents has been mounting up in the Podagorsk peninsula in south-eastern Moldova for the last two years. The consensus in the region is that the US government and the West-European media have greatly exaggerated the aggressions and violence in the peninsula and that the Moldovian government is justified and able to handle its conflicts on its own. Nevertheless four months ago NATO decided the intervene and send peacekeepers to solve the conflict despite the protests of the European Union and the Russian Federation. It has been speculated that the reason for stabilizing the situation in Podagorsk are the peninsula's abundant reserves of nickel and bauxite. The NATO occupation was estimated to be quick even though the Russian Federation did not allow NATO presence in the Black Sea for the exception of one aircraft carrier. Four months after the advance began from the north of the peninsula, NATO front lines have not been able to make real progress towards the southern parts of Podagorsk where the minerals are mined. Almost the entirety of the peninsula's population has been united under an ancient slavic religious movement, СвÑÑ‚Ð°Ñ Ñ€ÑƒÑ‡Ð½Ð°Ñ Ð³Ñ€Ð°Ð½Ð°Ñ‚Ð° ÐнтиохийÑÐºÐ°Ñ (СРГÐ, pronounce 'SRGA') and the movement is fiercely defending the southern parts of Podagorsk. NATO high command believes that the Russian Federation is providing the locals with military grade weapons, vehicles and training since a great deal of the Black Sea region is controlled by the Russian Federation. NATO combat research estimates that the СРГРcombatants number up to 800 and more are joining the cause from as far as northern Europe. The СРГРforces have been able to defend the peninsula against everything the NATO forces have thrown at them. As the eyes the the whole Europe and Russia are upon the situation and the peacekeeping forces must also keep the Moldovian government from interfering, the NATO high command has hired a small but apparently effective Belarussian private military company to expedite the occupation. The PMC will be placed directly under NATO forces' local high command, Lt.Col. William K. Gobbler and given command over the NATO's battalion sized force in the peninsula. The PMC's relationship with NATO will be denied in order to maintain relations with the Russian Federation and media. The Lt.Col. has heard that the PMC in question is not afraid to get their hands dirty if there's money involved. And there is.   23. i know that all of the other files are in correctly, but the "function.library.tar" and the "wiki.tar" files come up as winraw archive and when and the mod is not working.when i open the archive files it looks like it is just pieces of the wiki tar and the library tar.to make a long story short.i have winraw archives in the store folder instead of the 2 tar files how can i get the 2 files to be tar files and not archives.
