Along with new factions, weapons, vehicles, and gear, Aegis provides a platform update that overhauls several weapons and vehicles to make them more authentic to their real-life counterparts, while remaining loyal to their Armaverse depiction.   2. After teasing people with promo shots in the combat photography thread for quite some time, I decided to open a separate thread for my upcoming AAF add-on. The idea behind this was to have a AAF faction for contemporary missions on Altis and Stratis using RHS assets and having only the RHS mods as a dependency.   3. I have redesigned various units from NATO, AAF, CSAT and FIA using various mods and am wanting to replace the default load outs (Rifleman, Combat Life Saver, Marksman Etc.) in the Eden editor menu with these. Could someone explain how or link me.
  4. I have redone majority of the unit presets for AAf, NATO, CSAT and the FIA and am wanting to use these to make a faction overhaul for myself (not a public mod). I basically want them to be who i see in campaigns and in the Eden Editor. I have used mods. If you can explain how to replace the current unit presets with these ones or give me a link i would much appreciate it.

  6. Taking a break from other mods i came to the Conclusion the AAF could really use a new coat of paint. Inspired by TEC_CSAT. the LM_AAF overhaul will include new weapons, Gear, and vehicles for the AAF to give them a fresh feel. This mod will NOT require other mods to use Plans/ Features.   8. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1229944898 I decided to create a series with each mission focusing on one specific type of soldier/task, this one entry is EOD. I used the AAF to give it a more modern day feel while keeping it vanilla. Used Tanoa to give it a vietnam flavor. Steam description: Step into the shoes of a soldier in an EOD unit during operations on Tanoa. The AAF have been engaged with Syndikat and remnants of the former dictatorship's loyalist army for the last 8 months. The guerrillas have access to large pre-overthrow stockpiles of anti-tank and anti-personell mines as well as improved explosive devices. Because of this our EOD unit has been kept busy during the occupation. During today's operation we will be escorting a tank platoon along a main supply route and clearing any minefields using our mine clearing rockets from the bobcat. We have multiple infantry units currently executing various missions and raids accross the island so be prepared to get tasked away to help them clear any explosives they encounter. Vanilla mission, only requires Apex. (Although from the latest update all Arma 3 users now have Apex assets so you may be able to play it, just with the expansion purchase advert in the corner.)   10. 1st Royal Altian Marine Battalion Who We Are The 1st Royal Altian Marine Battalion is a Altian military simulation unit aiming to provide an accurate and professional portrayal of the Altian Armed Forces. The 1st Royal Altian Marine Battalion has also taken massive strides towards implementing accurate doctrine and realistic training. Our unit also adheres to strict disciplinary guidelines while still adapting to the real lives of our members outside of how we operate, the 1st Royal Altian Marine Battalion is the culmination of numerous different assets within the Altian Armed Forces. We consist of a regular infantry element, a reconsaince element, and a aviation element. All these elements operate either together or separately to complete a wide variety of different objectives within our operations, with care being taken to try and diversify the scope of the missions our unit partakes in. How We Work In following our pledge towards realistic and accurate milsim, the 1st Royal Altian Marine Battalion holds its training and operations to a high standard. To elaborate, operations are oriented around realistic scenarios, while our training program has been developed to provide enlistees with the necessary tools and skills needed to excel in combat. The operations and trainings are not conducted on a daily basis, and are generally rotated on a semi-flexible schedule Requirements Must be 16+ (No Exceptions) Must be mature and have a professional attitude Must be willing to follow the chain of command Must own a legal copy of ArmA 3 Must be willing to dedicate time towards the unit, as it shall to you Must be able to make at least one unit event a week unless excused Must complete the training process in the required time frame Must maintain respect for yourself and others at all times How Do I Join?   12. I am currently playing on arma 3 's official 16+2 zeus server, and Im struggling to add more than one faction. When choosing mission as admin I only have the option to make: master stratis/altis NATO/CSAT/AAF but not two at once. I would like players to compete. How can I change that?
  13. I'm trying to retexture the AAF officer but I'm running into difficulties with my config. I've defined the hidden selections and the their locations but still my retexture fails to appear - I end up with an invisible chested guy (although the trousers appear). I've professionally (!) retextured original .paa file to a Grenadier Guard as one can see. I've posted my config below for anyone who can spot the issue. I apologize in advance for any obvious mistakes - this is my first shot at retexturing in A3! My config
  14. Hello everyone, I have been trying in the past few days to make a retexture of the AAF uniform at which I succeeded. Then I needed to put it in game as an addon so I have to write a config.cpp file. No matter what I can't get it to work, so any help would be appreciated. Config.cpp Screenshots
