  1. Server Transfer System v1.0.3 The Server Transfer System (STS for short) is an addon that allows for the transferring of players from one server to another. STS is based off the code KillZone_Kid shared with his final post here. Expanding on KillZone_Kid's work, STS hides the transfer behind an overlay, making a nearly-flawless transition from one server to another. The transfer overlay will eventually allow customization, but currently is simply a black screen with "Please Wait" up top. This addon does not handle the saving, storing, nor transferring of character data. That will need to be handled by the end user. To transfer a client, the server must remoteExec STS_fnc_Transfer. Hey look, yet another vanilla retexture mod All jokes aside, this mod originally was called "Spanish Army Strike" (or SAS for short) and was created by Fermox, who sadly retired from the modding scene and left me in charge of the project. This mod follows the footsteps of its predecessor and aims to provide a lore friendly Spain faction by using only vanilla items, however, external assets may be introduced if they fit the 2035 theme. While the assets contained here attempt to make sense within the ARMA 3 lore, there might be some that are also included just for fun. This mod is still a work in progress and things are subject to change. However its developent stage has reached the point where I am comfortable sharing it and promoting it. Does it sound good? You can get it on Steam! FEATURES Four factions with Desert, Woodland, Winter and Black equipment, with several variations. Vehicles also have plenty of different textures to choose from by using the Virtual Garage. Units have european faces Units have Spanish names and surnames CBRN and stealth uniforms and helmets Much more! Down below I'll list the most noteworthy items included in the mod and provide a brief explanation of their function within the lore. Inventory icons need to be replaced by custom images as they are using the vanilla ones. Some item names might only be shown in English. It expands the Zeus real-time editor with many new additions as well as provides bug fixes. Achilles started as an expansion to Ares mod, which was created by Anton Struyk.   9. I try to re-texture a civilian clothing piece from the Apex expansion. Everything works, except the texture. The uniform piece gets added on the arsenal, but it has the default texture applied to it and not the one specified in the config file.   11. Something that has been pissing me off since the launch of Apex is the ghillie suits. Nothing wrong with how they look, quite the contrary the look amazing but because I suppose they are the ghillie suit from the marksmen dlc but retextured people that own Apex but not the markmsen dlc get this little premium icon at the bottom right: I don't think it should be like that since this is the ghillie suit from Apex and since I own apex I shouldn't be getting such crap on my screen every now and then. It's even worse when you try to do a cinematic for the armachinima awards contest since you can't record anything in first person due to that shit. Bohemia please fix? :(

    Arma 3 Apex - content predictions?

    I'm starting this thread to discuss possible content for Arma 3 Apex. Anyone have predictions? Here's mine: To start off, factions. I personally think we'll be seeing USMC forces [BLUFOR] along with Chinese forces [OPFOR], and possibly Australian/CTRG forces [BLUFOR]. Of course, we'll likely see Tanoa's military [Independent] and a guerrilla faction [OPFOR]. Now for vehicles and weapons. It's confirmed that we'll be seeing Light Strike Vehicles and VTOLs, and possibly larger Patrol boats.   14. Backstory (will be expanded): Year 2018: After 3 years of economical crisis, with the Ruble at its historical minimum, riots start spreading throughout the whole Russian Federation. Citizens start uprising demanding better economic conditions and extremists groups are seen as the only viable alternative to accomplish a brighter future. The protest quickly turn deadly, with the security forces getting more and more violent. Year 2020: Terrorist group named "Bering Star", in an attempt to take advantage of the civil unrest, attacks a classified biological warfare facility in ÄŒukotka, stealing many biological agents. Russian Federation government keeps this attack hidden, fearing a further increase of the riots violence. August 3rd, 2023: Bering Star hits, releasing an artificial virus in Moscow and St. Petersburg. Government is weakened after years of unrest, and the emergency response is not effective enough. During the following months, the virus spreads in Europe and Asia, with some cases in the USA. While the International Community joins forces to develop a vaccine, it gets clear that the rate of infection is extremely high. March, 2024: 9 months after patient zero, the infection is now spread worldwide. There is no known cure yet. April, 2030: 7 years later, an estimate of 90% of the global population was infected with peaks of 95% in the whole Russian sub-continent. Only 0.04% of survival chance. Big areas in the United States become unhabited, including the San Juan Islands in the Puget Sound.   15. Hi there, I have an opportunity to take a fresh look at the Expansions menu (Configure > Expansions). The purpose of the menu was to list mods from various locations such as the -mod parameter, registry path and auto-included mods from the player's Documents & Settings folder, and to allow the player to enable / disable mods and adjust the load order. The current goal is shifting to provide easy orientation and additional details about used official (DLC) and community mods. After the initial design, it occurred to me that mod management might not be a necessary part of this. One of the options is therefore to remove the functionality to manage mods, specifically the ability to adjust the load order (Up and Down buttons) and the Enable / Disable mod button. This would mean the removal of functionality some of you might be using, so I came here to ask you what you think about it and to discuss the matter. Additional info: Launching the game with -mod overrides and disables the management buttons in the Expansions menu anyway. Managing mods here requires an additional restart. The official Launcher with local mods support and custom community launchers are handling mod management more comfortably. Launchers do not require an additional restart. Changes made in the menu do not carry over to launchers. Syncing the game state between launcher states could be complicated with various presets in mind.   16. Hi again. I'm making a little mission, where I fly with A10. I'd like to destroy some buildings.. Those buildings would be terrorist hideouts.. So they would be filled with "terrorists" and I have to destroy the buildings.. But how can I place troops into the building?
