By 3 Commando Brigade DESCRIPTION The modern Royal Marines Commando or British Army soldier carries a lot of kit in addition to his weapon. This mod aims to recreate some of that equipment. In current MTP camo, we provide updated combat uniforms, Mk4 vests, Bergens™ backpacks, Mk7 helmets, berets and tactical glasses. A huge variety of options enables each player to give their character a unique look on the battlefield, whether it be as an Officer, Forward Air Controller, Medic, Sapper, Signaller, Engineer, Point Man, Grenadier, Marksman, Machine Gunner or just plain Rifleman! We've now expanded the range of combat uniform camouflage patterns to include DPM Woodland, DDPM (desert), DPM Temperate and Arctic. Along with these come accompanying sets of new Mk 2 vests, webbing, Mk 6 helmets and backpacks. We haven't forgotten support forces either, with new uniforms, vests and helmets for RAF / RN pilots and tank crews. This mission is MP coop ready, but instead of ACE, a number of immersion scripts and AIS make this a much more tolerable Single Player ALiVE insurgency experience as AI will heal the player (if AI teammates are not in direct contact) when you are down. READ THE MAP BRIEFING AND DIARY SECTIONS IN-GAME Features: AIS revive - nothing needed to stabilize and revive , first aid kit/medkit needed to heal smaller injuries. F/A 18 - 25 CAS sorties (JDAM and CBU only) available to Leaders only. FOB West - Independent 81mm mortars will fire at will in support of operations. I am doing a vinter campain for oure GU and i want to use hidden textures ore reskin ore what ever its callede to make oure weapons more winter thingy ;D We are using the great mod frome 3CB and i found this in the config wivere: hiddenSelections[] = {"hs_base","hs_handguard","hs_ironsight","hs_picatinnysight","hs_emag","hs_ris","hs_afg"}; The riffel i want to set the textures to is: "UK3CB_BAF_L85A2_RIS_AFG_Green" The things i wot like to make whit is: hs_handguard,hs_emag and mabye hs_afg can sombody point me in the right way .. hwo to set textures to this parts hwo to make the textures? I lookede at youtube but cant figure this out.... Hopefull sombody can help ;D

Hi folks, I would like to start a topic about the future of the Royal Marines & what sort of vehicles & weapons they would have in the year 2035 (Arma world). How would they get from Ship to shore? Would they still use landing craft or Airlifted in 2035? What sort of Ship would they operate from (a newer version of HMS Bulwark or one of the new carriers)? Would they still be using the 5.56 cal or will they use a heavier Rnd? What sort of UGV/UAV would they use, if any? Ive seen around the internet they will soon be having or even do have a newer "Viking" vehicle but is it likely they would still use it in 2035 or maybe follow the U.S Marines route & opt for an amphibious 8 wheeled APC that can launch from the mother ship, thus binning the Mk10 landing craft (or maybe the Mk12 by 2035)? As the world is more focused on fighting terrorism at the moment, do you think they will spend more time in Assault boats searching other boats for arms or would that role be given to someone else? Is building a newer LPD a good way to go or is it better to have a multi-role carrier fill the role of the LPD as well? What about if they built a carrier in the future with a well deck (I think its called) to launch land vehicles from or if the Royal Marines of 2035 will launch from the new carriers then is it really practical to airlift their vehicles also? What if the Sky's are not in our control? I would be happy for anyone interested in this sort of debate to offer their thoughts on the subject & where possible to offer reason why this or why that sort of thing.
