Don't punish player for friendly fire against AI team mates

Two things happen when you kill your own teammates: 1, your team opens fire on you and 2, in most single player missions, BIS_fnc_endMission is called Do you think it would be possible to create an addon that patches out this behaviour? So you can literally do what you want to your own team mates with no repercussions, sort of like how you could shoot marines in Halo? -
Hello Vigor Team, there is still a problem with the shelter status (in game/ in shelter) for team members. Team members must be reinvited after every round beause there status is still in game and not in shelter. Happends to me between PS4 and PS4 Pro before and after the latest update. best regards

Good day to you soldiers! I am after a team of people to aid me in programme/scripting, altering, map creation and passing around ideas to create a new game mode for Arma III multiplayer. When playing Arma III multiplayer, you never take into consideration the limits of what factions can provide in real life, so I have came up with an idea for a full scale war between CSAT and NATO fighting over Altis with AAF forces stuck in the middle, though rather than the normal game modes on Arma III, I wish to put together a new game mode concentrating on a more strategic approach with a hierarchy on each side, and a currency system which can increase and decrease depending on your logistics teams collecting resources, and if you were to cause collateral damage. The war if won by logistics, not by brute force. I envisage a server of approx. 150/180 players, (60 each for NATO & CSAT and 30 [maybe 60] for AAF) on the server at one time, (BIG MATCH) and as it will be a tournament it will last over a few - six hour days from 1600 to 2359 GMT with a list of rules and requirements, and to negate the risk of non-committed players entering the tournament the server will be locked and only accessible to vetted (kinda) players. Each team will consist of a hierarchy system having one Officer in Command (OC) and his four Commanding Officers (CO's), each CO will be responsible for a quarter of the forces and split between logistics, ground offence, air offence and defence. These 5 will need to keep in constant communication to place orders with logistics, set up defences around FOBs and place minefields, call in airstrikes, and advance the line. Hierarchy & Team layout Officer in Command Confirms/denies orders and procurement of resources, the naysayer of the faction. Only person to speak to the 'Umpire' Logistics Officer Normally have ~11 people under his command (inc. officer, Sgt, 2xCpls, 7x soldiers) Responsible for placing orders of manpower, vehicles, equipment, base equipment etc Collecting resources from around Altis Defence Officer Normally have ~9 people under his command (inc. officer, Sgt, 2xCpls, 5x soldiers) Responsible for installing base defences and setting up FOBs Places down minefields [must keep track of all mines placed and sent to OC] Ground offence Officer Normally have ~38 people under his command (inc. 2xOfficers, 6xSgt,4Cpls,23xSoldiers, 3xCrew Responsible for pushing and disrupting enemy operations Air Offence Officer Normally have ~4 personnel (Officer and 3xPilots) Resources and research There are two types of resources, energy which can be acquired from the wind and solar farms around Altis, and oil that is found at all the petrol/gas stations, each resource returned to your carrier, base or FOBs will be counted by at the end of the game, these will be 'sold' granting additional money for the next day, as well as the bonus expenses, you will also gain favour from your investors which in turn increases the amount they will offer at the beginning of each day. Research can be found at 3 different labs(each have 5x documents), 4 airfields and 4 disused military bases (each have the possibility of having 1x documents) which once returned to the carrier or base can be used to climb the tech tree to have the option of more advanced kit, weapons and vehicles. These are less prominent then large cargo containers and oil drums, the documents will be hidden somewhere in plain sight in structures (much like DAYZ loot). All resources and research will spawn every hour, unless not already taken from marked locations (meaning they will not accumulate if not collected) Logistics With the money gained from resources and investors, the OC and CO's must come up with an order form consisting of how many personnel, weapons, vehicles, defences, etc in which I have done a little research and found the real life equivalent of in game items and their costs, no where near accurate (and this is where I need opinions from a team of people) but still looks like it would make you think when sending in your F-181 which costs ~£72,000,000 and a pilot which costs ~£10,000,000 (over 82% of the investors money alone) into a risky, SAM infested, area, or would it be better to send two squads and 2 APCs which would be approx. £6,500,000. AGAIN numbers aren't 100% accurate but it makes you think twice from a logistical stand point. Everything is priced from 5.56 rounds, a spec ops member with his sniper, to the M5 Scorcher and each individual missile. It will be difficult to overlook every piece of logistics but there will be people out there (including myself) to play a more logistical role in helping the team win by accumulating money and spending it in the right places, as a team. This is just the tip of the iceberg on what I have done so far, so if there is someone out there who would be willing to help out with the scripting especially but other help is most welcome then please let me know, if you wish to know more on this 'project' then let me know and I can show you many many Excel sheets and PowerPoints. ive been playing the game on the xbox for a bit now and love the game but i keep hearing this and thinking it myself i could be a lot more fun with a 3 to 4 man teams instead of just 2 what do you guys think and is there others that feel the same as me and my friends

I'm playing Solo, hit Quick Play and then in the pregame booster screen with all the players, I see two out of the ten fellow players have a blue plus icon in the corner of their picture. Later in game these two players killed me and I proceeded to spectate this duo kill others, scoop the crate, and both escape with their lives. I haven't been able to find any official rules or game descriptions to explain how two people teamed up in Solo; is this allowed or is it a glitch, etc etc?

But to give you a barnie style breakdown, you first need to attend the units basic training which is broken down into 3 30-60 minute sections Red, white and blue phase. The basic training will go over unit standards, tactics and all roles available for you to fill. After that there is specialized courses for various roles. You can specialize in one or be a jack of all trades, it’s up to you! When do you guys play? - the peak hours among the unit is around 1800 Gmt and we normally hold training on Tuesdays and Fridays, with unit operations on Saturdays. Any other days of the week are normally casual days so jump on and have fun. Can I be pilot? -Sure.....in casual gameplay, going to go ahead and assume you just downloaded the game. So if you want to be a unit pilot I’d prefer you practice, and learn to hurry up and wait. Because having planes blaze down an entire village before the troops get there is kinda a immersion killer. Can I fly Transport? -only if you can land Why do you only have slots for certain roles? -let’s put it this way, if your playing on a football team your likely not running the football if your a lineman and probably not catching the football if your the quarterback. Every position has a role and specific task and if one person is not sticking to their role the whole team fails. So in the 32nd ID we build our squads in a way where just about all tasks can be completed with the least amount of players. A Squad typically consists of about 9-12 players —ALPHA TEAM— Team leader Rifleman. (AT) Grenadier Automatic Rifleman --BRAVO TEAM— Team Leader Rifleman (SDM) Grenadier Automatic Rifleman —Command Elment— Squad leader Medic RTO/FO/JTAC Machine Gunner Other roles are planned for the future as the unit expands but for now we ask that players become familiar with the available roles. First of all, hello to everybody who is reading through this. My team and me consisting of two other ppl who are both highly experienced scripters both 3 years+ experience. Who would tackle the difficult part of the project like for example scripting a who new custom survival mod (work is allready beeing done on that front see below) The whole project aims to combine all the good from the arma2 dayz mod (the feel and ambiance, the amazingly high chance to run into another person, the absence of, i can just do some lootruns sell junk at the trader and buy myself an as50), Arma3 features (everything the arma3 engine has to offer and that we can use to our advantage), and some highly polished and custom "exile like" features. (completely custom trading system and tradingzones thats about it, yes there will be no missions because missions are just a big mess all there is either the server is empty -> you can do your missions in peace or server is full -> everbody camps a missions and waits until some idiots starts to do the missions and then snipes him when hes at the crate. Aswell as no exile like base building see below at "Whats planned" Whats planned: As mentioned allready completely custom survival DayZ script (so no exile scripts -> fully custom and expandable). Highly customized map (but done properly well not just some barracks in a massive sand bank square haha we all know and hate that stuff) (Base map will most likely be the A2 Version of chernarus not CUP since it looks quite alot better) (allready in the works) Coming with that new map design what will happen exactly. The whole maplayout will be story based fyi. when a zombie outbreak starts, it will probably not just the country that outbreak was in fighting the outbreak there will be help from other countries. So what is planned multiple smaller outposts from different factions Obviously the whole map would be polished up with props and small overrun checkpoints to make it feel proper zombie appocalypse (further details on interest) When you have that properly planned map layout you almost have to make a fully custom loot table which means that you can only find american weapons at american outposts same with AK's bla bla i think you get the point. What this does very well is encurage ppl to go to multiple outposts to get the best loadout which increases traffic on the map tremendously. (the loottable is allready beeing worked on aswell) Adding to that will come a completely custom trading system that completely gets rid of the whole coin system and makes it far more realistic alswell as a new tradezone system in itself (further details only on interest) Custom crafting system will also be available aswell as a wear system on guns and vehicles. Completely custom base building no ugly ass block fortresses but realistic stuff like pichting a tent, diggin a small hole to hide a chest or seeking shelter in a house and barricading the windows and puting a lock on the door. Lots more in planned and if i would go into detail about most of this stuff here i would be writing this for the next few hrs, and nobody would care to read through this (i think its already a bit much) What are we looking for? Modeling artist, what tasks would be there ? Custom items: backpacks, misc items, clothing (also converting arma 2 clothing (like about 5 skins) and making it modular for the arma3 system) Custom props and eventually even smaller buildings. Config coder, what tasks would there be ? Managing all weapons giving them sound proper recoil etc. General config work for interactions and managing the addon files.
