Hello, I need a little help: I would like the AI not to be visible to the naked eye but only visible through thermal NVG. I would like to add it either in the IA init or in a script. And usable in Multiplayer. Can someone help me? -

"PSZ: POLISH ARMED FORCES" SITREP PSZ: Polish Armed Forces is a mod project focusing on adding a high quality, realistic modern Polish Army faction. This means we plan to recreate in-game most of the currently used Polish Army equipment, including of course most of the signature weapons, vehicles and units, like Beryl, MSBS and Tor rifles, Rosomak APCs, Leopard and Twardy tanks, Sokol helicopters, etc. The SECOND version just got released, so why won't you give it a try? THE FUTURE The general idea is to release the mod as soon as the base is ready, then build upon it, until we have everything one could ask for in terms of realistic Polish Armed Forces faction(s). Initial plan includes PKW 2010 faction with weapons, infantry and some vehicles, which then should be supported by following Special Forces, PKW "Motorpool" and also the 2020-ish PKW faction updates. 2020(-ish) faction will be there to include the newest weaponry polish military industry is trying to incorporate, like MSBS Radon assault rifle, Negev LMG and possibly more, like ATGM Rosomak APC variant. Mod requires CBA (for ASDG Joint Rails, for example) and at this moment we are thinking about incorporating MRT Accessory Functions and Weapon EventHandler Framework for greatest possible immersion and level of realism. Also because we want everything to depict real-life counterparts and their behaviour as much as possible, while keeping the best possible visual and technical quality. Hi All, The Goal of this Retexture Mod is to add more Winter Stuff as already did IndeedPete (Thanks for your job) with his Snow Tigers CSAT Mod. This is a beginning but I hope to add more particular Units and dedicated vehicles soon. Actually WInter Vipers can be found under "Winter Viper" faction in OPFOR Side. There are one Infantry Squad and three Infantry Teams (AA, AT, Demo) available. I also added a tactical vest to each unit as it's cold in Winter and I retextured weapons, bags, uniforms and helmets (but indeed I am not a specialist in Texturing) which are all available in Arsenal. In my mission, when a Bluefor player enters an area, the trigger causes Independent AI forces to respawn. Altogether 16 Independent soldiers. The problem is that when another Bluefor member also enters the area, another 16 Independent AI enters the game. What should I do to be born only 16 enemies for the entire Bluefor team? Remove all smokes included modded from AI on OPFOR

Looking for a script to remove all AI smokes from OPFOR at the Init level. I've been digging for ages and have only found failed scripts and not much else to go off of. I'd like to remove all smokes from all OPFOR AI at mission start. They are very smoke happy and it causes FPS issues, Lag, and it's just annoying to stop a firefight for 2 or 3 minutes for enemy smoke to clear. I was happy removing them all by hand via the edit load-out option in the right click menu when we were working with a smaller squad with smaller missions. But we have grown enough for there to be 60-100 enemy's at a time and doing it by hand just isn't an option anymore. I've given it a whack, but I'm not sure what the smokes ID is for each one. Or how to find them. There must be a better way to remove all than to name each smoke ID and remove it. If there isn't, if one of you wonderful people over here would like to set me up with a basic script with 2 or 3 vanilla names, and the knowledge on how to find all the other IDs, I'll gladly add the rest of them myself. some months ago, i made a custom Opfor faction (FIA Rearmed). I wanted reuse the woodland camo in Vanilla game. I noticed quickly that whole gameplay was slowing down and the blood textures disappearead. I know that there is a code to add texture blood. but the questions are two 1) there is a hardcoded limit to move the Blufor model to a generic Opfor faction? 2) If i want to mantain clean code, how to write the custom faction without to add the injuries code to each characters? is possible to inherit it just from Blufor model? thanks in advance image is the idea behind this post -

[SP/MP] OPFOR KP Liberation - Project Opfor / RHS Changes Made After looking at all the liberation missions it became clear that there where hardly any OPFOR sided liberation missions out their, compared to the orignal one, so we decided to deliver an OPFOR experience to liberation by making a Kp Liberation based on the OPFOR faction. So what we have done here is take Kp Liberation and change all the factions around to make it so you are able to play as the OPFOR faction, with out having to do anything, below is just a few of the main changes. We have used Project opfor as part of the base gear that will be used by the other factions. -Playable OPFOR faction. RHS AFRF (VDV/MSV) -Changed BLUFOR faction. Project OPFOR (Islamic State) -Changed GUER faction. Project OPFOR (Sahrani) -Changed the enemy marker colours to blue. -Changed spawn point marker to match OPFOR faction. -The friendly side is now OPFOR. -Added a extra tutorial page to help people. -OPFOR Medical vehicles changes. -Changed all factions to match new sides. -Fixed exploding choppers on the Ship. This mission will support other mods. If there is demmand a public server can be setup. Overview of the mission The area has fallen to the enemy, and it is up to you to take it back. Embark with your teammates on a persistent campaign that will span several weeks of real time to liberate all the major cities of the area. - Experience a massive “Capture the Island” campaign involving a large range of different settlements across the entire area. - Cooperate with up to 34 players, including a Commanding role, two fire-team squads, a medevac and a logistical support squad as well as AI recruits to fill the gaps. - Purchase both infantry and vehicles (both ground and air) using three different types of physical resources; supplies, ammunition and fuel. - Build the FOB of your dreams with an in-game "what you see is what you get" system. - Play within an immersive engine that not only punishes you for civilian casualty but diversely reacts in turn. - Combat aggressive and cunning hostile forces who react and adapt to your actions. - Monitor and work alongside, or against, independent guerrilla forces. - Learn that every window is a threat thanks to the custom urban combat AI. - Accomplish meaningful secondary objectives that will benefit your progression. - Never lose your progress with the built-in server-side save system. Military Bases: Home to large amounts of highly equipped enemy forces, these installations are heavily defended and will require large and well co-ordinated assaults if you have any hope in capturing them. While capturing enemy bases you'll prove that your operation is progressing in a promising way, therefore you'll unlock some heavier assets. Radio Towers (RT): When under enemy control, RT will be used to call in reinforcements when a nearby sector is attacked by our own forces. The reaction time will depend on the distance between the tower and the sector. Details: This is a replacement weapon config for EricJ's taliban units using AK's and typical weapons from the RHS Escalation mods. I originally created this as a 'leight'weight option for quick Zeus/MCC missions with my group, but I realised that plenty of the other middle eastern factions available require a significant number of separate uniform/weapon packs, (even though they look fantastic). Since almost every modded server I have seen uses RHS. It seems appropriate to combine these. The config assigns Russian AKM's/AKMS' to fighter units, PKMs and SVD's are assigned to MG and Sniper variants as well. All units have russian smoke grenades, RGOs. Leader units have FAKs and PMM sidearms. All units are Zeus compatible. This config also contains an Afghan civilian faction. Unchanged from EricJ's original. The mod is signed with server keys included. Of course, let me know if I have done something ridiculously wrong here. I'm still learning how to put mods together. Images: In future, I would like to add a reinforcement group. Hey guys ive had arma for a while but i never really did any research on how to use the server list, i kinda just left out all filters so i can see every server. I recently just played in a coop game mode (it only had 3 other people on blufor) and I was able to play as opfor. Im just wondering what can i do to find more specific game modes where its coop and you can also play on opfor. Most coop game modes i come across only let you play bluefor which I think is shitty. I know you can play in sandbox mode but that also has independent players and Im trying to find strictly a coop mode where its bluefor vs opfor and you can play on the enemy team as well. Thanks!

Hey everyone, I was wondering if someone could help me develop a script that would allow blufor units to only be able to enter Blufor vehicles as well as Opfor only being able to enter Opfor vehicles. Basically, I have this situation similar to a deathmatch (free for all), and I'd like to "addscore" to players ONLY when they kill other players, not AI's. Digging the internet, I found some scripts (meant for punishing teamkills), worked around them a little bit and got this: I must admit that I could not create such a thing, but I did some modifications and it ALMOST worked as intended. And this keeps happening like: I believe that this is happening because of the accumulated bodies of players, but I wasn't able to delete them to test it out. If any of you guys can help me, it would be appreciated! :) -

We are looking to fit into the campaigns of other groups, performing a disciplined role to enhance everyone's experience. Many groups who have tried PVP experience 15-year-olds hiding, shooting an RPG into a group of soldiers, and running away feeling accomplished. This is not our M.O. We are looking to take on more members capable of fighting with tactical proficiency and with everyone's experience in mind. Our members are able to act in a realistic PMC fashion by directing groups of lesser-trained local forces (AI) and will stand and fight as a well-paid and well-trained force will do. "Normal" Home-Grown Arma Campaigns: 1900GMT (10AM West Coast US, 2PM East Coast US) on Saturdays We also do our own Saturday ops, we are currently launching a campaign that will take us to Sahrani as a PMC in support of a faltering drug cartel that is looking to reestablish their export of MDMA precursor in the face of a mounting police militarization and heavy crackdown. We try and make things a bit exciting and different, all of us have been "you're 2nd platoon, take this town because battalion wants us to", we're exploring some non-traditional missions that should get pretty fun. A couple of our veteran members actually play with a more traditional milsim group on Wednesdays and Sundays, but Redwater is a special undertaking. Here's a video of us pre-hiatus. Everyone can carry whatever weapon and wear whatever uniform they like (within reason, if you show up with an AS50 you're probably not going to make it very long). Looking for something non-military. We do emulate a lot of military tactics, anyone who tries to operate without doing so gets killed. But we don't emulate a military structure; our leadership are "Directors", full-fledged members are "Operatives" and those who have shown an aptitude for ground leadership (TL+ roles) are "Senior Operatives". We think it makes for a better atmosphere. Unable to commit to a lot of time to a minimum weekly mission count many groups have. We have one sure-fire mission on Saturdays at 1900GMT (1100 Central Time), and PvP on an ad-hoc basis with other groups. You do not have to turn up for any minimum number of them, but it's best if you're typically free around this time. Looking for a certain level of tactical realism. We use ACE with pretty much everything turned on, although we do allow respawns since we're not a very large group. We RP respawns as reinforcements which have to make their way back to the battle somewhat realistically to keep some amount of cost to dying intact. Looking for minimal mod upkeep. We serve our mods through Arma3Sync and only update them when absolutely necessary or universally wanted by the group (not every time a mod update is released), so you shouldn't have to keep updating your mods. It won't work out if you are: Looking to do absolutely whatever you want. This is Arma, and while we like everyone to have a bit of freedom, group cohesion is required for tactical success. A cheater or ultra-competitive. We want people who have a mindset of fun comes first since half of our mission is to play enemy for real players who should actually win the mission if all goes well.
