We're a community that focuses on large scale operations while having a few side operations currently on the map of Tanoa, but we do plan to move on to others.   4. Background Information Carrier Strike Group 15 (CSG-15) is a US Navy/Marine unit (28th MEU). We are currently looking for dedicated individuals who can put time and effort into our unit. We are a bit more laid back than some units, and also have many available positions, such as Pilots, Ship Crewmen, Regular Infantry, etc. Getting in is as simple as a brief interview to try to gauge out your experience with ArmA and other units, and to try to figure out where you'd fit in best. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for advancement. Generally, we run Ops every Saturday @ 5 PM EST. We frequently run ops on Sundays as well, training on Fridays, and we run events throughout the week (not necessarily ops) as member availability permits. Requirements Must have a working mic. Must speak fluent English. Must have TS3. Ability and willingness to download our Workshop collection. What makes us different? No obligations to attend every OP, however, we do appreciate people who show dedication.   5. What is the United States Marine Corps ArmA 3 MilSim unit? The USMCA3 Unit is a newly recruiting MilSim. The USMC started recruitment in the start of July 2018, with nearly two months under our belt, we have achieved nearly 40 members, with roughly 25-30 active. We use a variety of different mods to enhance ArmA 3 to its fullest potential. As a USMC aviator aboard the Khe Sanh LHD, provide support for Marine heli-borne infantry from the cockpit of your AV-8B Harrier II V/STOL aircraft. For the small island nation of Sahrani, this has proven particularly troublesome. In 1993, the Communist government crumbled without Soviet economic and military support. It wasn’t until 2003, when the Sahrani government appealed to the Russian Federation for assistance, that the US began negotiations to provide aid to the island nation. Incensed, the pro-Russian majority in the Northern region of Sahrani attempted to overtake the South, where the seat of government resided. Despite a majority of the Sahrani Defense Force’s assets being stationed in the North, the attempted rebellion was quashed in short order by the US Army’s Rapid Reaction Force. Shortly thereafter, a UN Accord forced the US and Russia both to forgo further intervention in Sahrani’s affairs. In 2008, Russia violates the accords by sending first military equipment and advisors, and then Military Maritime Fleet infantry garrisons to the North. In an effort to dissuade further Russian involvement in Sahrani’s affairs, the UN passes a Resolution forbidding any further involvement with the Sahrani government or risk facing economic sanctions. Not long after these developments, a military junta seizes power from the legitimate government, and the capitol in the South is overrun and demolished by pro-Russian military hardliners. The newly christened Sahrani Liberation Army claims to be in control of Sahrani.   10. NATO (European) Reaction Corps is a English Speaking Multinational Unit Playing Arma to a Milsim standard, with a truly International Feel. NATO(E)RC was formed in September of 2016 by a group of people who have been in the Arma community for many years. Born from 3 main reasons. 1. Frustration of the wider arma community who seemed hugely opposed to co-operation and hostile to other units. 2. The Idea that Modern warfare would no longer be individual nations but rather coalition based. 3. Honestly Half of us were Swedish, the other half British and we couldn't decide a nation to become. What started as an experiment has become a highly successful venture. From originally 4 guys the battle group now boasts an average of around 40 People attending operations with a rate of attendance of roughly 83% of all those on the roster. As a community we emphasis co-operation, Teamwork, Discipline and banter as core aims. Operations are Sundays at 8PM GMT, With individual National Training's taking place on a variety of days. Unit Composition Commander of the unit is Maj. E. Hawkins (1RRF) and XO Lt. P. Knez (P4). The main command is made up of a NCO from each unit to ensure all units have an equal say within the battlegroup. Units are formed into 2 Categories; Main and Secondary. Main Detachments are Infantry that are well established within the battlegroup. Secondary are supporting arms and newer units. The Two founder units are 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and P4 Skaraborg Regiment. Main 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - British Armored Infantry P4 Skaraborg Regiment - Swedish Mechanized Infantry 2nd Battalion 8th Marines - US Marine Corps Infantry Secondary Combined Air Wing - Multinational Fixed and Rotary Wing Air Assets Irish Guards - British Light Infantry Recce Platoon Fallschirmjägerregiment 31 - German Airborne Infantry Joining The Battlegroup The Battlegroup is not looking for any new detachments at the moment but is all open to talks to other existing units within the Arma community. The Combined Air Wing will not allow inital entry recruits, all its members must of spent at least a month in a unit already and have reached a rank equal to OR-2.   12. OVERVIEW FORECON is a North American-based milsim unit modeled after Marine Force Reconnaissance. The unit operates on Pacific Standard Time, but we have members all over North America. The mission of FORECON is to provide the MAGTF (Marine Air-Ground Task Force) with military intelligence. FORECON conducts Green Operations (deep reconnaissance) to gather intelligence, and Black Operations (direct action) to conduct offensive strikes, often with aid of MAGTF resources. Our unit consists of the following elements: Reconnaissance Platoon Rotary Detachment TECOM Element TECOM (Training & Education Command) members will often times play the role of a High-Value Target, VIP, or OPFOR during operations. We currently strive to raise the backbone of our unit by increasing the size of the Infantry, that being said we have a number of positions in both our Aviation, and Infantry unit's that continue to open and provide support; Such as Deep Reconnaissance, Hospital Corpsman, Radio Transmission Operators. As the unit develops, and strengthens itself we will slowly encourage the growth of these supportive roles, positions being open first to the most beneficially active, and supportive of members.     13th Marine Expeditionary Milsim/Realism Unit Who are we? The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is a United States Marine Corps Milsim/Realism unit for ArmA 3, which is based on 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Realism Unit strives for a realistic/milsim environment. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Realism Unit has a Phase 1 and Phase 2 training, our training is based directly on the real life USMC training, only to be vastly scaled down and our training instructors have filtered it to be necessary to ArmA. We have ownership of a forums, and a Teamspeak server and an ArmA 3 server, as well as being firmly organised. We are currently looking for members to expand the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and strive to fill up our first Company. What do we do? All our recruits who join our unit, are welcomed to our Phase 1 and Phase 2 training taught by our Drill Instructors, and this training spans from FTX drills, to train our recruits to be ready for our operations as well as exercises in home rotations. In term of dates, our trainings and operations occur on a weekly basis, operation time occur from 2000EST to 2200EST on a Sunday and other training times vary. In terms of operations, once recruits have finished Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings, they can attend our deployment operations which are set on different maps, and have a solid backstory for roleplay, and when deployments are not occurring, we have our FTXs or Field Training Exercises. Strike Group 10 is a Mil-Sim unit based in ArmA 3, Strike Group 10 consists of the US Navy and The USMC. Here at Strike Group 10 we have a age limit of 16. The USN Part of the unit flys FA-18E Super Hornets and FA-18F Super Hornets off of the USS Nimitz to provide support for ground troops as well as to maintain air superiority, In the near future the USN part of the unit will also be flying E-2A Hawkeyes as well. Under the USMC part of the unit we have Infantry roles as well as Heavy Armour, Light Armour, and SOAR (Helicopers). Our Infantry roles range from a simple rifleman to a AA Specialist. The heavy armour we have are M1A1FEP Abrams. Our light armour consists of LAV-25's.   23. 1. Give us car indicator in light vehicles like hummer and uaz (the same like in tanks in upper left corner). Often it's very hard to see, where a car has his front regarding to grenade launcher or machine gun (barrel or body of gun blocks view). 2. I've observed that people from Razor team (at random) don't hit the dirt after command 7-8. This is very annoying because sneaking of all squad is compromised (the same situation with the 7-2, some guys don't fall at all). 3. Smoke grenades don't smokes (ATI card) or this smoke is like little mist. 4. If i will be hit in car, i can't dismount (consequence is ignor by medic = death). 5. During ride on dam (NW of Krasnostaw) or through wooden bridge (somewhere in wood) by hummer (didn't try with other vehicles) there are hmmm... invisible, shallow "wholes" (i suppose on connections between 3D elements). 6. AI is soo f..king accurate when i am leaning behind corner, that i am really impressed. The same is with grass: AI see everything on short distance. 7. I am notice some cracking noises (SoundBlaser Audigy2 OEM, newest drivers) during playing. 8. Often i have problems with recognition of particular persons sentences between the lines of dialogue. Give us some, even little interline of nothinghess and little underscore of person who told it. 9. When i use alt+tab parallel with go to desktop, i am making action connected with alt key. 10. And finally: polish translation. Generally is good, but there are many letter fixes. Do you know that in polish translation is option which in reverse translation means "steering helmet"? It concerns floating head during run. All reports are catastofical: whithout polish inflection. But campaign dialogues (especially idioms) and breafings in most cases are good. Best regards. I've even don't mention about super-hero-Prizrak and lack of command during conversation with AI which is part of campaign.
