This add-on depicts generic North-Caucasian rebel forces in different types of clothing and equipment and Russian special and regular forces (Army, VDV, MVD and OMON) based on the mods done by the Red Hammer Studios. The aim is to have an enemy faction for RHS AFRF which only requires the RHS mods. The rebel units are equipped with older soviet-style weapons, use 6SH92, Vydra 3M and Serbian MD-99 vest and wear a variety of different uniforms and headgear. Please note that the gear and equipment of the units isn’t a 100% according to their real-life counterparts, but since I can’t model, it’s the closest I could get. The Russian forces come in many different camo variants and carry the appropriate gear for a 2000 till 2012 timeframe. It’s recommended to use this add-on with ASCZ Heads or other beard add-ons.   4. Let's make Arma Great Again! I have always wanted to do a complete OPFOR or red faction. For nearly 10 years now I have worked Project RACS to build up the Royal Army Corps Sahrani. I continue that work for Arma3 but it has lost a lot of steam with me. My mood for being a loyalist has soured a bit over the years. It is time for a little revolution.....or at least something different. The core of this mod will be based around RHS: Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The extension portion will be based round legacy models and contributions provided to me by my wonderful friends in this community. Namely RKSL-Rock, Vilas, and many, many others have contributed to what will be absolutely fantastic. Combine this with support from my friends at RHS this mod will be huge. We are going to do big things here, absolutely wonderful big things. As usual this project will not necessarily be about having the most perfect model, but providing you with a complete playable faction. Plans for the SLA 2017 include.... Regular Army: T-72B, BMP-1, BMP-2, BTR-60, Shilka, SA-6, SA-8, S-60, ZPU-4, ZU-23, D-30, M-46, D-44, SA-13, SA-9, MTLB, MTLB Zu-23, Ural trucks, and various static machine guns and AT weapons, Troops will include Light Regulars, Regulars, Especas, Military Police, as well as crews and officers. The end of the Sahrani Civil war and the unification of the island for me was about unifying Sahrani and the immediate islands under the King. The Democratic Republic of Sahrani still exists on the remaining islands they control. That was years ago now. This is a new political climate.... Ideas for missions and campaigns swirl around a coup in the Kingdom and the country destabilizes..... or a UN mandate requires the return of occupied territories to the DRS..... or one of many other ideas that would lead to direct return of SLA troops to the mainland.... whether it be militarization, occupation, or blatant re-invasion.... media

  8. With the results of my poll in, the server has been configured and launched. It is an Invade and Annex on the Tanoa map, with the mods being RHS: Escalation and Task Force Radio.   9. Alrighty. So I've got a server that mostly unused right now and I decided that I might as well do something with it. The plan is to put an Invade and Annex scenario up on it with the good mods like RHS: Escalation and TFAR, since I had a hard time finding a server with those running on it. I know I'm not the only person who likes I&A and those mods, so why not combine them? Only problem is the map...I know not everyone has Tanoa but its such a great map and I really want to do it. Poll results will tell me the answer I guess.

  12. El_Guiguitre and crooker12 are proud to release the RHS replacement pack. Since discovering the superb RHS Escalation mod, we have been waiting for someone to release a pack to swap the vanilla weapons, items and vehicles for their present-day equivalents. Unfortunately, such a pack didn't materialise, and eventually we decided to create one ourselves. Our aim is to allow any mission with vanilla assets to be played with RHS assets, without any further modification of the mission being necessary. In order to keep the number of mod dependencies to a minimum, only RHS assets will be used in the core mod. After all vanilla assets have been replaced, we may go back and add optional gear packs that use content from other mods. However, if this does occur, it will be in the distant future. So far, we have replaced the NATO Altis faction with the US Army, and other factions will follow When They Are DoneTM. All NATO Altis (and CTRG Altis) weapons, vehicles, aircraft, uniforms, and items have been replaced with their RHS equivalent. Update 20/12/2016 - CSAT has now been replaced with the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. This is caused by the same RHS asset (for example, the patchless SPC) being used to replace multiple vanilla assets. Since each vanilla item is replaced individually, loadouts resemble vanilla in terms of magazine numbers etc, rather than being 100% real-life-accurate. The PCML has not yet been replaced. This will hopefully be fixed in a future version. CSAT optics replaced with Russian equivalents still fit on all rifles, not just Kalashnikov mounting systems. We would like to introduce you to this WIP project, on which work is being actively carried out. It will include a US uniform: ACU and Massif combat gear, as well as a lot of nice bonuses and additions. This is a large and complex project designed to significantly diversify the content we currently have, and the content you can use, we can’t promise anything without knowing for sure but we aim to have a wide variety of selections for you to choose from by the end of the project. For this reason, we decided to be a bit more detailed in the process of creating 3d models. And we also wish to provide you the opportunity to follow the project with greater focus.     RHS and Zeus

    Hi all, I've noticed that when I play a zeus mission with RHS - not all of the RHS units, vehicles, groups etc. are available. When I'm building manual scenarios: they are all there: but in zeus there are far fewer. Is there any way to get it all in to zeus? I'm hoping to avoid having to re-write every cfgvehicle definition just to add it to zeus... Is there a simple procedural way to get it in there? A script perhaps to find all the entries, and manually make them available to zeus? Thanks JayNic

G'day Ok, so pretty much to sum it up, I would like to make some variants (mainly) of the RHS A-10A using Vanilla weapons and Firewills AWS pack for my Milsim community (and possibly other fast jets). This is easier explained via image... Pretty much change the vanilla RHS A-10 into something like that (but not that hardcore haha, I have about 5 variants in mind), same aircraft just different weapons both model proxy and magazine. I've been trying to do this for a while now but have had about 30% progress tbh. Whether this means creating a 'Replacement Config' or via some sneaky 'Init' magic I'm not sure. My main problem is dictating which weapons go on which hard point, so far I've gotten them on random ones or more show up than the magazine count states, i.e, "1_rnd GBU10 magazine" but 3x GBU-10s show up on the aircraft and they're all on random hard points... shit like that. With the A-10s large variety of payload options I feel as though I could implement this for my community and depending if it's a cfg or not possibly everyone else. Also I do not wish to implement a load out menu or anything at this time, mainly just spawn in a custom version of the A-10 with my configured payload on it or place down a vanilla RHS A-10 and Init code the loadout onto it.. Summary: Two teams fight for control of pre-defined sectors using limited assets — the team with a majority of sectors held bleeds the others tickets, with the match ending when one team reaches 0 tickets. The intent of this missions is balanced and fun infantry combat. Armed vehicles have limited respawns and longer respawn timers than their soft-skinned counterparts, and the better equipt classes have fewer available slots than standard riflemen. My friend who worked on this mission and I are hoping this resembles gameplay you'd get from games like Project Reality or Battlefield's Conquest game-mode — except in ARMA. Feature list: Respawns available at your base and on your Squad Leader's rally point (Destroyed on Squad Leader's death) Lightweight niceties like earplugs, squad name markers, health display (all toggleable, F1-F5 keys) Custom bleeding values using RHS ammo class names (So larger calibers can cause higher tiers of bleeding) Custom medical - very slow health regeneration that can be somewhat sped up by sitting down. This is to avoid players deciding to respawn (losing their team a ticket) if they're too badly injured to continue. Pre-defined classes with unique roles, while not being unfair — you won't get a rubbish PDW simply for going medic. RPG assistants also carry a disposable 1-shot launcher along with the ammo for their reloadable counterpart carried by the primary AT role. There are also two types of standard rifleman. Opfor have the choice of an AK74m or AK-103 rifleman, while Bluefor have the choice of an M4 or M16. Magnified optics are reserved for Designated Marksmen and Special Forces. Limited vehicle selection. While there is some asymmetry with vehicle loadouts, this is hopefully both balanced and flavoursome. Only the largest version (Athira) includes high-tier modern vehicles. This is primarily an infantry mission and we did not want thermals or high-power vehicle weapons / GMG's to be common. Servers: N/A Future plans: If anyone actually plays this and likes it we might expand this mission with new areas (perhaps also on upcoming maps like Tanoa or Taunus), add extra features (BIS revive was tested but disabled in this release due to a bug with spawning), make prettier FOBs (The current bases are quite lazy but I wasn't going to waste time on immaculate item placement at such an early stage), add side missions or other random events. If you have feedback this is the place for it; there may still be some rough edges here and there, so if you notice a problem or have comments on balance/ticket values, let us know and we'll take that into consideration for the next iteration. The new 1.60 respawn screen also now appears to allow class limits, so we'll take a look at using that rather than the arma 3 lobby for role selection (so you can change your kit on respawn w/ a preview of its gear).

  24. Who are we?- We are a milsim group in Arma 3 founded by a core group of friends that have been together for years now. We pride ourselves in our ability to create a serious and structured environment, while also still goofing around and having fun with Arma 3. We base ourselves mainly off of the real Rangers from the USA, with alterations to accept Arma as a platform. Our mods will be given to you once you have been accepted as a recruit. We use steam workshop, I have specially compiled all our mods into a convenient modpack for ease of use. What are our events?- We have a selection of events. Campaign Main Ops, Side Ops, Trainings, and Practice ops. Campaign Main Ops- Our only mandatory event is every Friday at 6pm EST. The campaigns are what our unit is designed for. This is where we are at our fullest, and most serious. The Campaigns are based on a map, and have its own story. Each op is persistent, so your choices and actions matter in the later ops. We will always be Rangers in these ops. Side Ops- Side ops are fully optional, and not scheduled. These are less serious, but still require people to adhere to our rules. We could be the french, british, germans, anything in our modpack we can be in side ops. Trainings- We split our trainings into phase one and phase two. All trainings are on every Sunday at 1pm EST. As a recruit, you can not come to any op until you have done at least a phase one. Once you completed phase one, you may come to side ops. Once you have completed phase two, you are a full member and may come to any op. Practice Ops- Practice ops are designed to be the same as a campaign op, but no campaign attached to it. These are for people who want to pratice their leading skills, machine gun capability, etc. Practice ops are mainly for us to train future Fire Team Leaders, and possible Squad Leaders. Supports up to 112 players and many maps (CUP TP and more). Very high replayability value - free spawn selection. Best played in a roughly 2:1 attacker defender ratio. Dependencies CBA, ACE3, ACEX, RHS Escalation, TFAR, optionally RDS_CIV Mission Concept Russians have to protect their radio truck from destruction from US forces. At the same time they have to deploy antennas (send radio message) a preselected total amount of time to win. When deployed the radio truck is marked on the map for US. If US manages to neutralize the truck or kill all Russians, the game is over. At their start vehicle both factions can buy a limited range and number of vehicles with a preselected amount of credits. US forces have air superiority whereas Russians can field a little bit more raw fire power.
