Blatant discrimination (Arma 2 Namalsk server)

Greetings everyone! I haven't played the Namalsk map for a while, so I decided to go through DayzLauncher. I found the only Namalsk server, successfully entered lobby, and when all resourses loaded i got this: What is this if not obvious discrimination? Ordinary players from Russia are being discriminated by admin of this server - does Bohemia allow or encourage this? Correct me if I'm wrong, but does such a server have the right to be on the general list of servers? After all, such statements are akin to racist statements, and I don't think that Bohemia supports discrimination and racism. Here is this server: (in case someone thinks its not a proof - i uploaded a video of joining to different Dawn Patrol servers ( https://youtu.be/PIfDX2MhMXI ) Shouldn't such servers be excluded from master server list or banned? They are spreading hate and discrimination by this, and this is definitely is not ok - they are trying to bring politics to game where common players just try to chill in game on beloved maps in fading game.-

Hello, I have installed the Caa1 mod and everything is fine but there is a problem the british faction (dlc) has grenades in the inventory but I can't select them to throw them it only shows me smoke grenades can anyone help me

I found many other topic and guide to porting Arma2 content to Arma3, but all these about units or maps, not MISSIONs. So I start this topic to discuss how to convert missions from Arma2. First thing first, I'm a beginner in this and I have more questions than advises. Don't start to porting missions if you are not familiar with Arma2 mission making and Arma3 mission making process! 0. I used CUP units for Arma2 and AiA maps. 1. I copied the arma2 mission's folder into arma3 missions folder. 2. I open the mission.sqm in an editor and change version=11 to version=12 3. I replace the old unit names to CUP classnames. Eg. USMC_Soldier_SL to CUP_B_USMC_Soldier_SL 4. I replace these classnames in the sqs and sqf scripts too. 5. I try to open the mission in Arma3 editor. If it complains to missing classnames, I find it in mission.sqm file and replace it to a CUP classname, or - if it's not exists - I try to find something similar. Maybe a classname from vanilla Arma3 ? I do it until editor can open the mission without warnings. 6. I try to preview the mission (play the mission) in mode where I can see the script errors on the screen. If any script drop an error message, I find it in the script file and try to solve it with googling for solution. Eg. like no more commands setVehicleInit or processInitCommands, so need solution to make the script working without these. It's a good start to looking for a newer version of that script. Eg there is an Arma3 version of good old UPSMON script. 7. Change to old briefing and tasking system to new one. 8. Remove the A2 healing system. I know it's too brief and there is a lot of specific questions. I guess this topic is a good tart. I got questions, so I start a FAQ here: Q: Do the scripts from A2 still work? A: Some of them yes, others not. Actually most of them will work under A3, than from A1. There are a few script command what is removed (it mentioned above). So you have to check all the script you used in a mission manually and one by one. If you used in A2 a third party script (eg UPSMON), the best solution to ask the original author and maybe there is an A3 version. But if the script was created by you, you have to check it line by line. What will not work in A2 scripts in A3: the A2 animations, some of the A2 classnames (you have to replace the CUP classnames), the A2 first aid module, most of the A2 other modules...etc

Hello. I am currently playing Arma 2 and i wan't to make a mission where i have a huge flag in the middle of the Takistan's main square. Is there a way to make the flag pole bigger + the flag? Is there a script to make objects bigger? The flags that spawn using the default pole in Arma 2 are just too small. My goal is to have something similar to this: In case there are no possible ways to do what i ask, is there a mod you guys suggest for huge flags? Thank you!

Installing Arma 2 Steam Full Complete Set Properly

NOTE: This is for the STEAM EDITION. After playing Arma 3 for a while (quite long), i wanted to go back to Arma 2 and also I44 for a while, but I was having problems getting the DLCs to show properly, and a few error messages to go away. After trial and error, I manage to find the problems. Problem that I got and was solved(Can't remembered the exact message but the gist of it): Application Load error 5:00000065434 (If I remembered the error properly) MISSING STRING!!! Application/Game cannot be found. You installed the DLC, but it shows the LITE version of the DLC in your expansions menu. (This is actually due to though you installed the game in Steam, the content itself has not been integrated in Arma 2 directory which is why you need to run the DLC itself from Steam) Here Goes: 01. Install Arma 2 02. Run Game 03. Install Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead 04. Run Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead 05. Army of Czech Republic should start installing to A2OA. 06. Install Arma 2 British Armed Forces 07. Run Arma 2 British Armed Forces 08. British Armed Forces should start installing to A2OA. 09. Run Arma 2 Private Military Company 10. Private Military Company should start installing to A2OA. 11. Game should run with all DLCs properly. (Sequence of DLCs no longer matters after OA installation; Just make sure that you run the DLC from Steam first before running with other lanuchers or even OA itself. That means running the game British Armed Forces on Steam and not the Arma 2 or Arma 2 OA from Steam, for e.g.) For me, I use withSix to run my mods after that. Running the game first is just a way to initialize the running of some of the required installations. Hope this is useful to anyone having any problems on Arma 2 Steam. Hello all, My question is what will the future for ArmA look like? Will we go back to proper military simulation? A2/A2OA or will we stick with the sandbox? A3 Don't get me wrong I love and support what ArmA 3 has become I love it in some way the thing that killed it for me was ArmA 3 "Contact" and the fact that its all future based....not enough Takistan....I sometimes feel that ArmA became a meme because of PSYSIN I love his content but now it's all about life servers...the mill sim side is slowly dying off and only the elite groups are left. if you're a mill sim guy I highly recommend that you try ArmA 2: Army of the Czech Republic...I wish they would make some DLC like that for ArmA 3. I am asking these questions because I found ArmA 2 and A2OA to be much better for my self, A3 is great the mods are better in some way but it just does not have the proper military simulation vibe to it(Sorry if you're a life server person). I am sorry if I am not clear English is not my first language, sorry if this is a repost this is just something I've been worried about as we move on with ArmA and its DLC's. Help, in the editor when I want to start the game after loading, the window "parsing" POPs up, or if the English version is "debriefing" Here is a video demonstrating the error. YT video error P.S This problem manifests itself only when I put the infantry, for example, if I put armored vehicles ( in particular, it only works with the red side) and play for it, then everything is fine, but if there is at least one infantryman on the map, regardless of the side, then this problem appears. Before this was not, how it appeared I can not understand. Several times already reinstalled the game, all DLC. Perhaps this is all because of the A. C. E mod, because everything is fine without it. However, I have been searching the Internet for an answer to this problem for a long time. -

Hi guys. I really need your help. I cant find anywhere what to do with this problem.. i instaled Ace mod and Cba. when i go to boot camp i cant (shoot with javelin because there is no missile and when i want to aim, i put the launcher down. When im in bootcamp to i cant refuel and rearm my tank when im staing behind trucks. i cant use autoaim missile in heli) sorry for my bad english but i belive in that you have any solution.

Hello how can you build an airplane in Arma 2 OA? At the Mission Mountain War on the map of Takistan, I can build anything but airplanes. Have already laid my base on an airfield but still can not build a plane. What do I have to do to build an airplane? Host the server also on Nitrado.

I did a Google translate and it came up with Intelligence 2016? Any Arma 2 vets or RHS fans be advised to check it out.I would ask any of our Russian friends to provide a HD Download link and/or English subs,please? Obviously a propaganda film as are hollywood flicks like top gun etc.But very good combat scenes and acting! Apologies if i posted in the wrong place? I'm happy to announce my new and upcoming Soviet Russian terrain called "Tsarvana". This terrain's atmosphere and palate for buildings will be heavily influenced by Arma 2's data and will pay a certain homage to the existing Arma 2 map "Taviana". Additionally there will be custom structures implemented on the map for everyone to enjoy. The map and it's new models will all together be released as one package with a APL-SA license. This thread will be a discussion for personal thoughts on the upcoming map and WIP pics. The lore below is a wall of text but a good read if you wish to get a visual of what the terrain is about and how it may look before I post WIP pics, map layout and size details within the following weeks of this initial post.

Hello I play the old Dayz mod on Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead since you released the update earlier today for Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead I can no longer open Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead on steam or play the Dayz mod server that I play on through a launcher. When I try to launch the game through steam or the launcher the message "Battleye failed to read initialization file" pops up then closes and the game fails to launch. This issue isn't just with me, my two friends who also play have the same issue. please fix.

Greetings to all, and thanks for checking out my post! There are plenty great of groups out there, and I hope you find the one that is right for you. What follows is a summary of the inspiration behind TFTW and some additional information to help give you an idea of what the group is all about. The group has already grown into something extremely meaningful to me, and it's a project I hope to continue building for the rest of time. I am passionate about and have an immense interest in everything military and the Arma series is the perfect sandbox to tell stories, play out scenarios, and overall just be immersed in a military conflict zone environment. The type of gameplay offered in the series is unmatched by any other platform, and it scratches that itch perfectly. Since starting this group, I have focused hugely on ensuring that we have a healthy, good community of players. This is an absolutely critical part of building a group right. We only take those who can get along well with others, those who have maturity, and those who have a passion for Arma and military role-playing/simulation. Our group focuses primarily on military sandbox gameplay augmented by other event types which can take place in a conflict zone. The goal is to create an immersive and interesting military sandbox environment for each mission, and I have a dream of introducing unique role-playing elements into missions to add depth to storylines. I encourage our players to treat every scenario with the thought of "what would I do if I was in this situation in real life?". Our sandbox environments and use of real-world tactics bring an incredible amount of life and purpose into our scenarios. The group is a small project currently, but its future is incredibly bright and I am absolutely hyped to see the community grow and prosper. If you think this type of gameplay is what you're looking for in an Arma group, I highly encourage you to apply. Be forewarned, though, the selection process is tough, and I am looking for quality, dedicated members who truly want a good experience. While Task Force Timberwolf places an emphasis on using authentic tactics, techniques, and procedures of actual military operations, the community is definitely NOT a hardcore MILSIM group. It's a friendly, light-hearted community outside missions and people are never going to be subject to rank-and-file nonsense of many hardcore groups out there. My goal here is not to force people into the right state of mind for events, it is to attract the types of people who really do enjoy a type of gameplay that is often slower-paced, much more authentic, and more immersive than the typical experience. Task Force Timberwolf won't ever require members to attend our regular events. People should want to come to the events instead of being forced to come to the events. Our members have families, jobs, school, commitments, and otherwise. As a US Army service member who was stationed overseas, I totally get that. It's part of being a member of society in the real world and Arma shouldn't define your life. We are a brand new casual European gaming community with the focus on just casual public gaming. Mainly focussed on Battlefield (4) games, besides we play games such as: PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, Arma 3 and much more! Our goal is to become a succesfull laid back and mature platoon with active players from all over Europe. During casual game nights it will all be about having a good time with the other members of our platoon. When we have wars we tend to be more serious and a little try hard, we will play in squads with someone from higher command as leader. We will have one event per week and one or two trainings. Events such as: Promotions, wars with other platoons, medals, challenges for MVP in game, video edit skills or most recruited last week. In the trainings we will help you with improving your general skills for a certain game, think about map knowledge, weapon load out and tips and tricks. We have created our own ranking system within our guild, so we have a strong leading group who have each their own task. For example: Recruitment officer, Event hoster, Social media moderator, Trust person etc. From highest to lowest the ranks are: - Admin. - General. - Colonel. - Captain. - Lieutenant. - Member. - Recruit. - Ghost. Everytime I start the dedicated server with its server.cfg file and then open the game on the same computer I get this "Session Lost" message within a second of joining the server I did on my own computer. I have tried on different computers both launching game AND server on them, I've also tried to start the server on my own computer then have someone else join it and vice-versa SAME THING HAPPENS. I know it is an old game. It is not an answer to attest to such facts. Also is there an option to make a LAN server, something I can put on the server.cfg file? I am very pissed off this is happening. THINGS I'VE TRIED: REINSTALLING THE GAME AND ALL DLCS SEVERAL TIMES IN ORDER: arma 2, arma 2 oa, arma 2 baf, arma 2 pmc, arma 2 acr. server.cfg BattlEye = 0; verifySignatures = 0 through 2; equalModRequired = 0 and 1; loopback = true; this one was successful but only to connect to the dedicated server from the computer you're executing the dedicated server from. Which is pointless. Whether it is a BattlEye problem only or whatever, I have no clue. HELP

Is there any config to launch the game without battleye?

I'm doing Live Play with Arma 2 Combined Arms (on Steam version), but the Battleye would block my Live app, so I want to start the game without Battleye. Then I found that: *If I start the game without Battleye and to load the Original ArmA 2 properly, I can not launch with any mods, which I have to; (in Steam Inventory, right click and "Start without Battleye") *If I start the game without Battleye and to launch with the mods I need, I can't load the Original Arma 2 properly, which I need; (in Steam Inventory, input some perimeters into the "Launch Options", and right click and "Start without Battleye") *If I launch with the mods I need and the Original Arma 2, I can't start the game without Battleye. (use the "_runA2CO.cmd" in the game folder). What can I do??? -
Custom Character Model Issues, Advice? [SOLVED]

This is my first post, so I'll begin by apologising for any rules I may break or any syntax issues. Secondly, Im Trying to remodel an entire Arma 3 unit for a mod I am creating. The model was imported to Object builder no worries, I then took my time to follow every tutorial I could get my hands on regarding rigging and setting the unit up to be a playable unit in game. Here is a list of everything that has been done up till now (Without knowing any extra steps): -LODs and Texture set up and working, tested in engine and in game. -Geometry working. -Memory components set up (Now these memory points were used for the Arma 2 example). -Weighting selection to allow for animations (So tedious). - model.cfg and config set up correctly (hopefully). Now when I load it into game, everything works fine, the class path, the textures, I can even control as player, and he moves around as normal. EXCEPT, the model remains in the default "T" stance and about half way through the floor. Does anyone know anywhere I could look, or give me any information on how I can make this work. (Please let me know if you need any more details, like images or my config and model.cfg)
