  1. I want to note that whilst I have fixed the issue I'm curious to know what caused the fault and to help anyone else who'd experiencing the problem and looking for solutions. A bit of background information: I've been hosting my own dedicated server for a while and because of the 'integer flow' issues with Fast2 I reverted to TADST as my go-to server tool. The server is hosted locally on my home network. Inexplicably I started to get Battleye query timeout errors on my server despite having made no changes nor had there been an update to ArmA (AFAIK). The first time I just re-installed the server which fixed the issue. However after two weeks or so the issue returned and it took me a while to troubleshoot: 1) created new server profile 2) reinstalled ArmA server 3) disabled firewall 4) double checked ports are open on router 5) rebooted router 6) attempted this Battleye fix: on my client machine I deleted arma3battleye.exe and battleye folder from ArmA folder (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Arma3), deleted Battleye files from Common Files (Program Files (x86) -> Common Files -> BattlEye) and deleted Battleye folder and missions from MPMissionscache in localappdata then verified game cache on Steam. 7) disabled all 34 mods 8)enabled UPnP on TADST but this only worked for one session RPT file here Because I had heard of the Faster tool (rebuiild of Fast1) through using Fast2, I decided to give it a go as I had eliminated every other cause besides the tool. After I had ported over my KP Liberations saves, lo and behold it worked without issue. I know with troubleshooting it's a process of elimination by being methodical and going step-by-step. But if in my situation and switching server tool to Faster or another that works (not aware of any) then it'll save you trying all the other fixes. TADST is an old and otherwise good tool but it was last updated in 2017. Perhaps that's the issue? Although people still use it without this issue AFAIK. Either way if anyone is able to shed light on the cause then I'd appreciate it! Thanks, M2I
  2. I have my own dedicated server running the KP Liberation 0.96.7a map with 34 mods using the TADST server tool. Recently I've experienced an issue where it'll disconnect me after 2-3 minutes with a message "you were kicked off the game. (Battleye: query timeout)". This issue doesn't occur on a public server I connected to. Troubleshooting 1) reinstalled ArmA server 2) disabled firewall 3) double checked ports are open on router (screenshot) 3) rebooted router 4) attempted this Battleye fix: on my client machine I deleted arma3battleye.exe and battleye folder from ArmA folder (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Arma3), deleted Battleye files from Common Files (Program Files (x86) -> Common Files -> BattlEye) and deleted Battleye folder and missions from MPMissionscache in localappdata then verified game cache on Steam. I've included the .rpt file below: I'm at a loss what else I can try. I've come across this post but as I use TADST it won't save any changes to the server.cfg. The only other way would be create a shortcut pointing to a different server.cfg but there's not enough space in the target line to fit all the mods I use (apparently you can use a batch file but not sure how to do that). I experienced the issue a few weeks back and the issue was fixed only after reinstalling the server which I've already tried. This must be coincidence but the issue reoccurred after I installed the Faster.exe tool - I hadn't actually ran a server from it yet only setup profile and settings. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

  4. I just setup my server and everything works properly but after 2-3 mins i get kicked for the reasons in title. Since this only appears on my own server i thought someone with more knowhow could help me. I turned of my norton security ultra and added exceptions but nothing, i added the arma ports to my router but also nothing. I deleted several BE folders, reinstalled BE and arma but all i tried without any success. I do not play with any mods or DLC content, only official CP coop 12 maps. EDIT FIX: Norton security ultra blocked it, even with exceptions and i tried to turn it off completely but it worked after i deinstalled and added the exceptions to windows defender (do not forget to open your ports!!!).

  6. Hey Guys, I created a new Steam account and bought Arma 3, but everytime I want to join a server I get this error: Arma Battleye admin kick ASP: connection problems #87 I tried with 2 other steam accounts and everything works perfect. I hope someone can help me with this error. Thank you!
  7. Open the next input prompt "prevent loading file 'C: \ Windows \ System32 \ gamelsp. DLL '" I'm trying to use Steam to verify the integrity of the game cache and I need help!
  8. I've had a recurring problem within Arma 3 for the past year or so and it's prevented me from really playing the game. Every time I try to join a server, it doesn't matter what server (as long as it's not an official server), it always says "Battleye Initialization Failed". Every single time for the past year or so i've been trying and without fail it never works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, installing battleye straight from their website, moving game directory locations, i've tried it all but nothing ever seems to work. I just want to be able to play again and i've tried contacting everyone I know of but nothing i've ever tried has worked.
  9. Arma 3 is closing a alot of my Apps, Nvidia Control Panel, ShadowPlay, even Razer Synapse, Asus Aura, Samsung Magician and iCue(for Corsair Keyboard), what's happening??? EDIT: Battleye issue EDIT 2: Solution at least for me: Disabling Ultra Low Latency Mode in Nvidia Control Panel - Reboot the Computer - Start the Game and should be fixed.

    Battleye not loading

I am having an issue with battleye not loading the game. Since I bought the game I am getting an error message about Windows not being able to load the file. I have tried the troubleshooting steps in my old thread(making a new one since the insider version BSOD is fixed). Anyone have any suggestions?
  13. Hi, I wrote first to the BattlEye service, but they told me that they were engaged only in bans, and they sent me to the developers. The situation is this: "BattlEye initialization failed", played 1700 hours. I play only on servers with BattlEye. Suddenly, he stopped letting me to the servers. I read and tried everything that I found on the BattlEye website, and generally on the Internet, right up to reinstalling Windows. Windows 10 with all updates. Everything runs as administrator. The BattlEye process is loading and working properly. All protection is disabled and there are no viruses or malware. I'm at a dead end.

    Battleye Causing BSODs

There is a known issue with the insider builds that are causing BSOD errors across all games that have anti-cheat systems installed. It has been noted on the Flight Hub that fixes are being rolled out. I am still having issues being unable to play the game with Battleye running. I don't know if this has been reported to you or not. Im thinking this is the error that it is spitting out. SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (7e) This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address. Arguments: Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled Arg2: fffff8055e860333, The address that the exception occurred at Arg3: ffff870cb514f7e8, Exception Record Address Arg4: ffff870cb514f030, Context Record Address Looks to be coming from BEDaisy.sys if im reading the crash dump correctly. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/04/10/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-18875/#urRQqJMPrtfb7Ayb.97
  15. Whenever I try to load the game from the launcher with Battleye turned on I get this message. Does anyone know how to fix it? Link
  16. I require some assistance. So 7-8 months I moved to an apartment in Canada and ever since I have been unable to join any Arma 3 servers with battleye getting the error Battleye Initialization Failed. I have tried all the "Fixes" I could find on the internet to the point of reinstalling windows to no avail. The one issue that I have come across is when people tell me to go to the local files and delete the battleye file, there is no file there even with all hidden files showing (Might be causing the issue) Just for reference, it worked on the same computer before I moved. My assumption is that my apartments network is somehow messing with the anti-cheat and if this is the case I am completely unable to play any Arma 3 server with battleye again until I move. Fixes i have tried -Verify game cache -Reinstall game -reinstall WINDOWS -updated game drivers -I don't have an anti-virus -uninstall and reinstall battleye -Apartments internet was restarted -changed player account (grasping at straws at this point) Please send help I've been without my favorite game for around 8 months and can't take it! PS. I contacted BE Support and they where no help at all
  17. Hello, I am working on a mission and having some difficulty: some time into the mission, every player who has a zeus slot assigned will find their game crashes with the following: 0xc000005 STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION I'm kind of at my wit's end trying to debug this issue, as it makes administering the mission a bit problematic if the admin users are being kicked every 20 minutes or so. The mission begins fine, but as units spawn and the player count rises, the odds of the kick happening increase. The interesting thing is it doesn't isolate some users: it's all users that have a zeus module assigned. My initial approach was the dynamically create zeus modules and assign admin users to them, but then I went back to a standard pre-placed module approach, with UIDs as the assignment, to see if that was the issue. Both methods produce the same results. In the .rpt, we get the following: 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 Client Username - client's ticket has become invalid. Code: 6 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 NetServer: cannot find channel #264769362, users.card=45 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 Message not sent - error 0, message ID = ffffffff, to 264769362 (Username) and that happens every second until every Zeus user has crashed. I've tried to be very efficient in the coding of the mission, but there are some loops that run for various reasons. I've used diag_tickTime to clock how some of the longer scripts are performing, and nothing goes over 0.52ms... there were probably around 300 units running in the mission at the time. Any ideas, or suggestions of what to check? I'm at a loss. - Ryko
  18. Hello everyone, my name is Prohorov Ilja and i do have a problem with an Arma 3 server hosted by Overhosting.ru I'm not getting kicked from a server, but i'm getting stuck on a loading screen forever. Two main errors in the end of an error.log are: Error: Weapon[CUP_srifle_DMR_LeupoldMk4]: max attachments slots count reached(maximum = 5)! I have 17 mods for now. 19. Every now and then my Battleye plays up, and the weird thing is it's usually when i Alt+tab out to check discord etc, i cant play for longer than 1 minute until i receive a kick and a message saying, Battleye client not responding, i've tried every fix under the sun, verifying cache, deleting BE reinstalling arma 3, tinkering with my internet, firewalls the lists go on, the legit only way i can resolve it is when the server restarts, which is every 12 hours! and this is so common for alot of arma 3 players, please guys i need help if you have a fix please tell me!
  20. Good day. I have a problem with BE, after entering the server(server with activated BE) throws in the main menu with an error:"BattlEye requests a game restart(BE service is not running properly).Restart?"- tried to delete/reinstall the game / BE... but it did not help.Actually, how to solve this problem? PS:Sorry for mistakes in the text, use Google Translate :)
  21. Hi all, So i decided to try and get at least a peak into ArmA3's online community. After 900+ hours of offline SP game time. Enabled BE and launched the game... or so i thought - error crash due to BE blocking steam files it seems. Reinstalled a dozen times. (both the game and BE) -of course always everything 'as admin' Read countless posts about BR related errors. No fix helped. (most fixes are ingame related or server kicks etc. I found no one who got their steam.exe blocked) Tried different runtime environment solutions. BattlEye suggest missing RE files as a possible cause. No good. Read similar topics in other game forums (e.g.: PUBG seems to have similar issues) Tried clean install - no Addons (had previously still BIS' ADR-97 Weapon Pack loaded) Tried w/o all DLC's disabled AVP let everything pass through firewall The game runs perfectly fine w/o BattlEye btw Does anyone remember the good old days when you would just hook up two PC's and play OFP with a friend? No 3rd, 4th or 5th party platform running and ruining in the background? Anyway the issue persists. BE blocks steam itself which seams to crash the game. It's all over in just 6 seconds :) Loading the Game from launcher with BE enabled - here is what it says: 20:06:13 Starting BattleEye Service... 20:06:16 Launching the Game... 20:06:17 BattlEye: Note that file blocks can be ignored if they don't cause problems with the game. 20:06:17 Blocked loading of file '[..]\Steam\GameOverlayRenderer.dll' 20:06:18 Blocked loading of file '[..]\Steam\steamclient64.dll' 20:06.19 Blocked loading of file '[..]\Steam\Steam.exe' ArmA3 has exited in an unusual manner Exit code: 0x00000035 At least it's very safe ...from an anti-cheat point if view. If anyone has additional suggestions I'd welcome any input. so long
  22. Hi Guys, i'm running several servers on one machine. 23. Simple BeLog reader Hi again, I used to help moderate a not so small dedicated arma server. Occasionally I needed to look through server logs to see who was connected to the server when. What always bothered me is those server logs are in plain boring text and not in a nice structured table like the ones you have when using something like EPM RCON. So I decide to write a program that transforms that plain boring text into a nice structured table. I've also added a simple search function and some advanced options. Features: In a few clicks you'll transform your BeLog-file from a dedi server into a nice structured table All the basic features of a table Search function for name, id, ip, guid, connect time, disconnect time, connect date, disconnect date Filters for: empty IP, empty GUID, empty name, empty (dis)connect time/date, bad names, ... Able to filter for players online between 2 given hours Open multiple log-files in the same table Dark theme Note that almost all these features are still work in progress. They're usable but don't be surprised if something doesn't entire work as you'd expect it to. Future plans: Make a tutorial video on how to use it Fix all known bugs Expand documentation Pack into a .exe (Items higher up the list have a higher priority for me) If you have any suggestions for what else I could do, let me know. Usage: Download SimpleBeLogReader.jar from the gitlab linked below. A .jar is an executable like a .exe is with the only difference that you need java installed to be able to use it. Once you double clicked it the welcome window will appear with one button on it. Click on that button, browse to the BeLog file you want to look at. Select it and press OK. You'll now see your BeLog file in a nice table. I plan on making a small video explain how to use it in the future. Known bugs: Spelling mistakes (I mean, I'm sure I made at least one :)) No others at this time If you find any other bugs feel free to post them here or on my gitlab. Changelog: Requirements: Java SE Runtime Environment 8 or later. License: Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc-sa/4.0/ For the full license and copyright look at the readme on the gitlab. Download: https://gitlab.com/stanhope/SimpleBeLogReader If you simply want to use the tool download "SimpleBeLogReader.jar" from that gitlab, the source code is also provided on that gitlab. Lastly I'd like to kindly ask everyone to not host my work in other places if no major changes have been made to it. Instead please simply link to my gitlab, this is merely a request. If you made a significant change to my script I have no problem with anyone hosting it anywhere as long as it's in accordance with the license.
  24. Hi there, Over the last two to three weeks, I've been unable to remain connected to an ARMA server to which I previously had no problems with. I am able to slot into my position, load into the map, and begin gearing up, before anywhere between one minute to four minutes later, I'll get kicked with the message "You have been kicked. BattlEye Client Not Responding." Thus far, I have tried the following: -Updated my network drivers. -Disabled my firewall. -Disabled anti-virus. -Ping tested external sites to ensure I was getting a steady connection out. -Rebooted my router, numerous times. -Rebooted my PC, numerous times. -Attempted to load the game in numerous ways, by launching with mods directly into the server via the ARMA 3 launcher, and by loading the mods first and seeking the server through the in-game server browser. -I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game four times. -I've uninstalled and reinstalled the mods five times. -I've verified my game cache. -I've deleted all BattlEye files, and then re-verified game cache in order to re-download them. -My network is stable, and fast. I download at 40MB/s. I have no trouble connecting to any other game or service. It's only ARMA, and only BattlEye with ARMA. -I have added exceptions to my firewall, and disabled it entirely, to no avail. And finally, I've gone as far to reformat my entire computer, and reinstall Windows. This still hasn't fixed the problem. I am out of ideas, and I could really use some help. Less than three weeks ago, I could connect and play to this server fine. Nothing has changed on their behalf since then, either. I've checked. (It's my milsim unit for ARMA. I've spoken to the server admins and mission makers.) Thanks,
  25. Hello! I have as of recently been getting the classic error message of "BattlEye Client Not Responding" and then being kicked off the server i'm on. I get into the server and can run around for 1 minute and then I get kicked off. I have tried: * Restarting my router * Restarting my pc * Reinstalling battleye * Completely deleting and reinstalling battleye (http://customcombatgaming.com/forums/index.php?/topic/26088-instructions-manually-repair-battleye-for-arma-3/) * Verify game integrity files. * Reinstalled the mods for the server. I would be very thankfull for any help I receive as this is getting quite annoying at the moment. Thank you for taking your time to read this. //Cookies2432
