    Hello everyone! I was looking around and found the lack of civilian fixed wing aircraft. One of my favourite airplanes is the Pilatus PC-12. I found this free model and I was thinking about making it a functional aircraft in Arma and I am just looking for feedback to see if this would be something people would like :)
  2. ABOUT US 2nd Marine Division Realism Unit is a newly formed virtual military simulation group for ArmA III. Our goal is to emulate the Marine Corps environment as much as possible by using real-world military tactics and doctrines to achieve our goal. We use community made mods like ACE 3 and Task Force Radio (TFAR) to enhance the experience. WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR As a community, we are looking for those who are like-minded in trying to emulate a realistic military environment based on the “United States Marine Corps”. Those who wouldn’t mind being whatever the unit needs at the moment. Those who are willing to play in “First Person” with a minimum hud. Those who don’t mind being a unit that is just starting up and helping the unit grow. WHAT DO WE DO Persistent Campaigns and Multi-Selection Operations are the two types of missions we play on as both being set up as an asymmetric warfare environment. Our Persistent Campaigns are deployment based and have a variety of that must be carried out. Everything throughout the campaign has an effect on the overall campaign in the long run. Multi Selection Operations is where you will find most members just hanging around and doing random objectives set up by a Platoon Leader or Squad Leader in conjunction with any supporting assets. In MSO the enemy forces will occupy random towns and villages along with civilians. A variety can be set up while playing MSO from a regular foot patrol, search and destroy, intel gathering, clearing out IED’s or Weapon Caches, etc. Training Pipeline Our training pipeline has been structured based on what is more important to us and what will be needed for new joins. There is no basic training you don’t see a need in it. If you want to know how the unit operates on a daily bases you can read our Policies and Regulations Handbook. School of Infantry - During SOI, those who went 03xx field are introduced to the basics such as formations and radio usage then move on to things such as Maneuver and Fire Techniques and Infantry Battle Drills. Thus becoming operational ready. Field Medical Training Battalion - During FMTB, Those who choose to go the Corpsman route will go over the basic duties of a Corpsman, Combat Casualty Care and more UNIT CURRENT ORGANIZATION 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines Reg Being the backbone of the unit, 2/8 will conduct a majority of the unit's ground-based operations and is currently our main focus. Once we get 1st Platoon full of active personnel then we begin to open up different elements in the units starting at squad/sections size. We're a community that focuses on large scale operations while having a few side operations currently on the map of Tanoa, but we do plan to move on to others.   4. Standard life, its Altis Life, but not so standard. It changes what you come to expect from the ever growing Altis life communities that are out there. We employ something that we haven’t seen before, a brand-new framework. Hardcoded from the ground up, it introduces many new things; and it doesn’t even stop there since new things are being added constantly. Including: - Housing We have a very different housing systems to most servers. For one, you can own as many as you want. On top of that, you can also customise it how you wish! Storing weapons, furniture, whatever you what! - Factions Currently, we have as many factions as you want. We have the usual 3 mains, being: Police, EMS and NATO. However, you can be whomever you want. A PMC? Sure. Terrorist/Rebel? Go right ahead. - Businesses On top of everything else, we also have a custom-built business system, that allows you to start your own business. You can send and receive invoices for your work, and if they don’t pay, the punishment is up to you. - Unique Initiation Rules Our server isn’t here for you to just shoot each other; however, we make it as realistic as possible. This means that, say if you have a hit, you won’t have to first announce it before carrying it out. We don’t allow RDM, but we allow realism. We have all of this, and much more. With new things being added constantly. - Lawyer System Become a lawyer, and represent the best the server has to offer! Try to get them off obviously fake murder charges (ahem). - Drugs Now obviously, you won't be doing drugs. But its good to know that you can grow weed, and even make meth and maybe explode while doing so! - Shop Owner Own your own shop selling legal, and illegal wares! - Police Database We have a police system in-built into Arma, allowing for someone to dispatch officers to where they need to go! - Missions We have plenty of things you could be doing, such as: - Airdrops, for all the weapons you could want. - Government convoy, want to make a quick buck stealing from the pesky government! - Street racing, dominate the streets with your superior driving skills.   7. Recently, a bunch of people, including I, started on the idea for our own server. A server where it’ll be a mix between the carnage of a lenient sever alongside the RP of a hard RP. And so we have created our server: TanoaRP. With our developer MT, we’ve managed to create a server with some rare scripts not seen much on Arma. How to join? MONTELLA TERRAIN MOD ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================ ============================================================================================================================================================================================================================ Hello everyone, Its been more than two yeard since I started this project and I think it is time to make it public and breathe a sigh of relief. I hope you will enjoy every piece of it, just like i did making it. The Terrain is inspired by a mountainous region in Campania (Italy) south of Naples, yes it’s not an island. The vibe is the same as in “Chernarus” but with a touch of Italian Culture. The map is a scale 1: 1 with the real areas (Parco Regionale Dei Monti Picentini - Irpinia). It is essentially a big valley between two large mountains “Verteglia” and “Laceno” both with their points of interest, towns and much more. The valley has 3 big towns: the most important “Montella”, then “Bagnoli” and “Cassano”, two of which have already been completed. Also, an entire section has been removed to create an area that actually does not exist in real life, the “Irpinian Sea”. Being a rural area there are not many roads that connect the town easily therefore you will have to cross rivers and ride on top of high cliffs and mountains. The map uses at its best the Arma 3 assets both the vanilla and the Tanoa ones also, we imported some from Arma 2 and other mods. Update: Terrain is still Work in Progress The terrain is now in a condition i feel many of you can consider "playable". This does not mean that the mod is completed or that it represent a finished product, it still is a Work In Progress.   13. Background Information Carrier Strike Group 15 (CSG-15) is a US Navy/Marine unit (28th MEU). We are currently looking for dedicated individuals who can put time and effort into our unit. We are a bit more laid back than some units, and also have many available positions, such as Pilots, Ship Crewmen, Regular Infantry, etc. Getting in is as simple as a brief interview to try to gauge out your experience with ArmA and other units, and to try to figure out where you'd fit in best. Furthermore, there is plenty of room for advancement. Generally, we run Ops every Saturday @ 5 PM EST. We frequently run ops on Sundays as well, training on Fridays, and we run events throughout the week (not necessarily ops) as member availability permits. Requirements Must have a working mic. Must speak fluent English. Must have TS3. Ability and willingness to download our Workshop collection. What makes us different? No obligations to attend every OP, however, we do appreciate people who show dedication. Most stuff is already done, the Script stands, the original scripter has got stuff to do irl so he cant work on it right now.   15. Hi, I have literally never even launched Argo before, but I wanted to try it out. I clicked Link mode, just to start exploring the game, but when trying to actually join a server, it autokicks me. Every single time. I have played another game using the battle eye launcher for anti-cheat, and got banned from the game, but that shouldn't apply to all games right? Please help, if there's no solution, fuck this game.

  18. We are a brand new casual European gaming community with the focus on just casual public gaming. Mainly focussed on Battlefield (4) games, besides we play games such as: PUBG, Rainbow Six Siege, Arma 3 and much more! Our goal is to become a succesfull laid back and mature platoon with active players from all over Europe. During casual game nights it will all be about having a good time with the other members of our platoon. When we have wars we tend to be more serious and a little try hard, we will play in squads with someone from higher command as leader. We will have one event per week and one or two trainings. Events such as: Promotions, wars with other platoons, medals, challenges for MVP in game, video edit skills or most recruited last week. In the trainings we will help you with improving your general skills for a certain game, think about map knowledge, weapon load out and tips and tricks.   20. Centurion Platoon Centurion Platoon is a very new Milsim Community. Our focus is on mechanized infantry and ground based combat. We are looking to recruit members to play in cooperative and pvp based scenarios. When we play we aim to use realism and logical solutions to in game problems. I am kind of new to this with using codes and scripts, I have a insignia modpack i want to use on my arsenal online and i found a post that said that this code/script works addAction ["<t color='#ffa500'>Open Virtual Arsenal</t>", {["Open",true] spawn BIS_fnc_arsenal}]; and I have tried putting it in the debugger thingy on the Pause menu but and execute it but it doesnt work or i dont know how to make it work! :( Please help here is the link where i found the code / script

  23. Hi there, I feel there is currently a lack of maps in Arma 3 for Exile. The best zombie survival map was Esseker but most people are done with this map. We did got chernaraus redux but this really wasn't a new map but just a remake. Anyway I was wondering if anyone is working on a map zombie survival/normal map. - Thomas
