Therefore we usually meet on Saturday at 19:00 CET (7:00 PM). Our unit is characterized by experience and knowledge, which comes from active and former soldiers. We try to use the knowledge we have gained as much as we can in Arma and work out meaningful trainings. However, we are aware that Arma is still a game and all members want to have fun. The real unit that we depict in Arma has different battalions that we try to depict ourselves. This gives us a wide range of possibilities. Whether as infantry, mechanized or with tanks, we offer everything and even have fun with it. We are interested in friendships with international communities.   7. G'day everyone Announcing a new project I'm slowly working on. I'm still fairly new to modelling so this may take a while, though the good thing is that I'm an avid World Of Tanks player and they have most of the tanks I want to make, thus its a great source of reference material for me to look at as they would have gotten their hands on their own reference material I most likely can't, not to mention I get to see their models first hand in game when I play which gives me ideas of what I can add or do etc. Still cant make cables/wire for shit though haha What its about? Project 1947 is mod that is based mainly on armoured combat, tank/armoured versus tank/armoured combat if you'd like, steel beasts going head to head. This mod will most likely not include any uniforms or hand held weapons as I currently don't posses the skill or excitement to make uniforms and hand held guns, not to mention that other mods like IFA3 and FoW fill that gap of infantry equipment. Overall, Project 1947 (working title) is about the possibility of if World War 2 was prolonged and did not end in 1945 and Germany successfully took Stalingrad or D-Day was not as big of a success as it was, for example. A bit like Wolfenstein, but without all the Nazi robots and spaceships, a more 'realistic' approach if you want to call it that. What would it include? Here is a list of factions I'd like to include into the mod. Most of the factions in their spaced groups would use similar vehicle, thus re-skins only really apply to some factions. However some factions will get their own unique kit at some point. (To name a few) I'm also hoping to have a dynamic stowage system, so ultimately you're able to mix and match all kinds of stowage, even randomise it so no tank looks identical. What has been done so far? So far I'm doing all the German vehicles first, the E-series. The good thing about the E-series is that they share most if not all of their assets, from road wheels, exhausts systems, stowage, handles. For example, the E50 and E75 share the exact same hull, just different turret and number of road wheels. Since I've made the E50 hull and road wheels I've also technically made the E75 hull and road wheels. However this is what I've done so far.   9. Hello all, I am pleased to present my second attempt at making a map - Ypres 1917. Background The map is a WW1-based terrain set during the Third Battle of Ypres, 31st July-10 November 1917, also known as the Battle of Passchendaele although the heightmap and satellite are randomly generated/custom made. For this reason, the Arma 3 WW1 mod is highly recommended. When the map is released in full it is possible that it will also become integrated into that mod, but for now any earlier version will be independently released. Features Map Size - 2km by 2km. The map features over 2.5km of trenches, both front line and communication trenches. Various underground bunkers/ dressing stations. The map features transitions from a small rear area, untouched by war, into the front line and no man's land. There is an airfield behind the lines in this area. Several fortified strong points along the front line, including a ridge with several pillboxes and outposts as well as a sector of the trench that is integrated into the ruins of a village. Different types of sectors along the front line. Because of the size of the map, a single, unbroken continuous trench line would be boring to make and play on. Instead, I've tried to add some variety to the terrain in different parts. One sector of the front line is flooded partially and composed of multiple outposts or fortified shellholes. Another sector features several separated but mutually supporting slit trenches in a forest. The fairly small gaps between different sectors are covered by barbed wire and pillboxes etc. A few artillery positions/emplacements. 2 half-destroyed towns. No man's land - ranges between 300-100m between the opposing trenches. Covered with shell-holes with varying depths that offer cover. Gameplay/playability One of the main issues about making a WW1 map is the Arma 3 AI. The AI aren't really capable of moving within the longer lines of trenches, but I've altered the map in some areas to improve AI playability. Some parts of the trenches are separated for 5-10m which allows the AI to pass through the front line into the rear, or likewise to pass through trenches on the way to attack. At some point I am going to add some better sheltered forming-up positions which will allow the AI to attack or reinforce with ease, making it possible for them to gather for an attack but out of sight of the opposing trench. The AI can't really enter or jump into the opposing trench line unless there are gaps, but they will attack it and stand on the parapet,letting them shoot into the trench. They are however capable of defending trenches pretty easily, and quite effectively, as they just need to be placed on the fire-steps. The AI perform much better around the less complex slit-trenches, which they sometimes are capable of entering/moving around. The shorter the distance between waypoints the better. Sometimes the AI will try to avoid passing through trenches completely and will detour huge distances to get to a waypoint behind the front line. However, this can be avoided if waypoints are placed close to each other. I highly recommend VCOM AI for attacking AI, although it should be disabled on defending AI to prevent them moving and glitching through the trench models. Gameplay - The map requires some skill/planning to attack an opposing trench. E.g. A frontal mass infantry assault in daylight without artillery will fail. However, in order to pull off a successful attack it's necessary to carefully use smoke and artillery, and make use of the cover in shell holes. Anyone willing to playtest the map is welcome. The mod uses assets from IFA3 as well as the WW1 mod, so both are required. To-do list / problems Add more reserve lines of trenches. This should allow for scenarios with multiple stages of attack. Polish the map and tidy up some of the messier sectors of trenches. Add more textures to the map. The current satellite image is provisional, and might be changed. Add more cover to no man's land in the form of craters, debris etc. Make the map in general, but specifically the trenches more easy for AI to use Screenshots Any feedback is welcome.

Conduct yourself in a professional and mature manner. This means that cursing, glitching, trolling, flaming, and name calling or other forms of fighting are not allowed. This is especially important when we are in events or on a public server. 3. Follow Orders. It is paramount for the survival of the regiment that all orders given by our Offiziere and Unteroffizieren are followed to the letter and without question or argument. There is a time and place to discuss tactics and whether or not certain orders should be given or not. Directly after the order is given is not one of those times. This also applies to the Rules laid out by admins on their servers. We respect the right of admins to run their servers. 4. Do not retaliate. Regardless of the situation, if something is done to you (ie Teamkill, insult, etc) you are not to retaliate! Instead, you are to inform an officer or admin and report the problem. Anyone found retaliating will be dealt with in the same manner as the original offender.   21. NATO (European) Reaction Corps is a English Speaking Multinational Unit Playing Arma to a Milsim standard, with a truly International Feel. NATO(E)RC was formed in September of 2016 by a group of people who have been in the Arma community for many years. Born from 3 main reasons. 1. Frustration of the wider arma community who seemed hugely opposed to co-operation and hostile to other units. 2. The Idea that Modern warfare would no longer be individual nations but rather coalition based. 3. Honestly Half of us were Swedish, the other half British and we couldn't decide a nation to become. What started as an experiment has become a highly successful venture. From originally 4 guys the battle group now boasts an average of around 40 People attending operations with a rate of attendance of roughly 83% of all those on the roster. As a community we emphasis co-operation, Teamwork, Discipline and banter as core aims. Operations are Sundays at 8PM GMT, With individual National Training's taking place on a variety of days. Unit Composition Commander of the unit is Maj. E. Hawkins (1RRF) and XO Lt. P. Knez (P4). The main command is made up of a NCO from each unit to ensure all units have an equal say within the battlegroup. Units are formed into 2 Categories; Main and Secondary. Main Detachments are Infantry that are well established within the battlegroup. Secondary are supporting arms and newer units. The Two founder units are 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers and P4 Skaraborg Regiment. Main 1st Battalion Royal Regiment of Fusiliers - British Armored Infantry P4 Skaraborg Regiment - Swedish Mechanized Infantry 2nd Battalion 8th Marines - US Marine Corps Infantry Secondary Combined Air Wing - Multinational Fixed and Rotary Wing Air Assets Irish Guards - British Light Infantry Recce Platoon Fallschirmjägerregiment 31 - German Airborne Infantry Joining The Battlegroup The Battlegroup is not looking for any new detachments at the moment but is all open to talks to other existing units within the Arma community. The Combined Air Wing will not allow inital entry recruits, all its members must of spent at least a month in a unit already and have reached a rank equal to OR-2. Bei uns wird das WIR groß geschrieben, denn jedes Mitglied ist wertvoll und trägt die Community mit. Wir sind eine Community, bei der jeder herzlich eingeladen ist, mitzuspielen. Egal ob du in der taktischen ArmA-Welt neu bist oder als erfahrener Spieler eine neue Bleibe suchst, bei uns wirst du in beiden Fällen ein Zuhause finden. Über die Aufnahme von Mitgliedern entscheiden die Mitglieder in einer Abstimmung. Wir haben beschlossen, eine Mitgliederaufnahme erst ab einem Mindestalter von 18 Jahren zuzulassen. Gastspieler dürfen an unseren Events jedoch bereits ab 16 Jahren mitmachen. Wir schätzen Pünktlichkeit und diszipliniertes Verhalten auf unserem TeamSpeak und in den Missionen. Wer unangekündigt 5 Minuten vor Missionsbeginn erscheint, wird keinen TechSupport mehr bekommen. Beachtet hierbei die in der Missionsbeschreibung festgelegte Zeit, in der sich alle auf dem TeamSpeak einzufinden haben. Wir vertreten außerdem die Meinung, dass die Zusammenarbeit mit anderen ArmA-Communitys sehr wichtig ist. Die Zusammenarbeit fördert den Zusammenhalt in der ArmA-Szene und ein Konkurrenzdenken ist nicht notwendig. Auch größere Missionen können hierdurch realisiert werden. Unsere Webseite Grüsse ArmA Community Wir, die Mitglieder der im September 2014 gegründeten 1st Combined Arms Tactical Division, kurz 1st CATD, suchen noch Mitglieder für koordinierte, taktische ArmA-Events. Wir spielen dabei hauptsächlich fiktive Einsätze der NATO Streitkräfte. Jedoch schrecken wir nicht davor zurück auch als russischer Bär den Amerikanern die Stirn zu bieten.
