  4. Hello, My name is Peter Stuart. I Surely do enjoy the flying aspect in ArmA III. Ive been flying in ArmA, since ArmA II Operation Arrowhead. I have recently thought of hosting a server where it is as a Simulation RolePlay server, of planes. Starting off with a small ultralight aircraft, and working your way up the ladder and becoming a International pilot. The more in game time you fly, the more money you earn, with that money you will be able to purchase planes, with a limitless variety. ranging from a Cessna 185 to a Beautiful 747-400. I unfortunately lack the skills to work on such a server, but i am willing to bring along some server developers for a wild ride! I also am clueless as to what terrain/map would be necessary to hold such a server, as a terrain/map will require 2-3 major airports, and 2-3 minor landing strips, for smaller aircraft. if you have any questions and or comments, please be sure to leave some down below, as i would love to hear some feedback on this wacky idea!   7. 501st Chairborne Division We are a small ARMA group of around 10-15 people wanting to expand into the public and welcome anyone who might be interested in playing in an immersive, mature environment, while having quite a few roleplay aspects (interacting with locals to provide intel, talks and story among fellow troops, etc.) We're rather easy going and are open to any questions and ideas. Ops are run every Saturday, Australian Eastern Standard Time. Game Modes/Ops/What we do: Currently we're focused solely on having a Zeus or two write campaigns and script missions to make it as immersive and hands on as possible. We have Ops that have great diversity, such as infiltration, extraction, armoured assaults, sea invasions and much more. We don't stick to one specific time period and we move onto different campaigns and scenarios when the players express interest in change. Thus far, we've done a PMC campaign that was in Africa, 7th Cav in Vietnam and we're currently playing a multinational Special Forces group that is currently stationed in Iraq.   8. Hello Arma3 community! I'm Rob ! Project Earth's founder, and co-owner. Today I would like to talk to you about a massive roleplay community and server currently in development for Arma3! Firstly allow me to introduce myself! I'm currently a student in Long Island, New York I hope to become a commissioned officer in the United States Army after college. I've been playing arma for around 3 years now with about 4000 hours most being in roleplay/milsim servers. I've previously owned and founded many roleplay communities such as Club House RP, Netropolis , A3LP , and many more. I've also developed for numerous communities. With Project Earth I have taken my experiences with previous role play communities and I'm using it to my advantage. Many roleplay communities/servers take Altis Life framework, customize it a bit, throw some mods on it, and place it on a map. I've realized no matter how many mods you put on a server it doesn't necessarily make for a better experience, so many communities fail to produce new, and impressing content which the Arma3 community deserves. So I've taken feedback, and ideas from the player base to create a never before seen roleplay environment I call Project Earth! Project Earth incorporates the basic fundamentals of roleplay (Engagement with other players, Exploring etc. ) with an emphasis on Player Engagement, and exploring! Currently Project Earth is currently editing an earth like terrain (100X100KM) to combine multiple countries, cities, and continents to provide a realistic, earth like, and truly international roleplay experience. The Earth terrain map allows us to give players more room to explore, increase player with player engagements, and endless RP scenario possibilities. When brain storming the project I wanted ensure that we could incorporate multiple country's laws, and environment into one server for all to enjoy; this means multiple Governments, multiple laws, real borders, etc. With Project Earth the need for multiple servers to mirror life in multiple countries is no longer needed. Another aim that Project Earth is focusing on is a non-staff, player run government, police force, and health service. This will allow players to vote for government officials, and a realistic environment for all RP factions within our server. Further more our terrain is specifically developed, and edited to keep player interactions (engagements) possible, and frequent even with the whole world to explore. For Instance Altis Life was a great framework, however no community was able to keep player interactions frequent and realistic because of the amount of land there is to explore, and how faraway certain entities were. Most of the Altis Life players would sit around in Kavala if they were looking for interactions limiting the players to a small area to explore. To counter the issue of a really big map Project Earth has incorporated roleplay to restrict players to a very accessible, interaction prone environment without make the players feel they are stuck in the same place all the time. How is Project Earth doing this? As stated previously we are incorporating "roleplay-restricted environments" to expand on this idea further; Project Earth has setup Radioactive zones, illegal areas, and a huge storyline to help players adjust, explore, and engage! One aspect I really love about the Project Earth Development plan is it allows for multiple inter-faction experiences. One day you could be on a traffic stop in the United States and the next chilling on a beach in Africa! You could be fighting the Ebola outbreak in Niger, and the next perform surgery in Washington DC on the president! I really love the idea of giving players unlimited possibilities, without sacrificing interaction! I hope you found this post interesting! If you did great ! I'd love to see you around sometime !   9. We are currently working on a server/mod with our own map based on ArmanIIl's "Chernobyl Zone", with several additions. They include expanding the playable zone up to authentic "Stalker" map, with locations created to fit both original game style and to be compatible with Arma mechanics. The server is also going to see a major change in roleplay system rules, relying on autonomous events chain, more advanced faction war, reworked gear, reworked anomalies, and the list will grow as we progress through development. Although we are developing the server/mod for russian community mainly, we are also interested in multinational community, in roleplay purposes particulary. Because of this we need to know if people are interested in our work, as we are planning to have a NATO faction on our server, and would like it to be populated with english-speaking players. The server itself will be hosted most probably on an European hosting, so you dont need to worry for ping. Also, if you have some ideas that you would like to implement, like custom factions, custom locations, you are free to share your thoughts. Willst du trotzdem das taktische Milsim Vorgehen nicht vermissen? Die familiäre ZEW Runde könnte dir gefallen. Hier steht die gemütliche und spaßige Mission im Vordergrund. Wir betrachten ArmA nach wie vor als Spiel liefern aber eine grundlegend befriedigende taktische Erfahrung. Einmal pro Woche werden hier entweder dynamische Zeus Missionen von unseren herzlichen Gamemaster geleitet, welcher bereits viele tausend Stunden Erfahrung mitbringt. Oder es kommt zu einer vollkommen durchgescripteten Kampagnenmission die in dutzenden Stunden arbeit speziell von unseren Content-Creator vorbereitet werden. Hierbei lehnen wir uns Ausrüstungstechnisch an den US-Streitkräften an und versuchen dieses Paket realistisch wie möglich auf unsere Truppe zu verteilen. Unsere Gruppe ist durchgehend Volljährig, Ausnahmen werden nicht gemacht. Das Modpaket basiert auf ca 7GB und beinhaltet ACE/TFAR – das erstere mit advanced medic settings. Interesse geweckt?     Can't join servers

    Hello so I've tried logging into the roleplay server today but I couldn't. I want to join the roleplay.co.uk server but it just doesn't show up in the servers category. I've tried removing all filters. With the filter 'UK' I only get these servers: https://imgur.com/a/AgjnT It only shows me the third server which is training. I've tried using the direct connect in game but it just doesn't show the server. I've tried direct connect through the launcher but it's just stuck on Arma 3 loading screen. I've tried joining the server through friends on steam but it just says that the server isn't responding even though my friend is clearly in the server. I've checked the game integrity on Steam, restarted my computer several times. Nothing seems to help. I can join other servers but it just doesn't show the roleplay.co.uk #1 and #2 servers. Any help would be helpful. Thanks.

  23. Hello everyone. So here we are with another annoying life mod for this awesome game you think?! Not so much. Please continue reading and let me explain what we are doing. If you have been around in the ArmA community for a while you probably remember the huge discussion we had about certain Life Mods that would just not stick to unwritten (and actually written) rules of the ArmA community and Bohemia Interactive. Because of the bad reputation of Life Mods in the community i have to make a few points about our mod. We, at ArmA 3 RP are creating a life roleplaying framework. It is gonna be available, open source (after the initial release), for everyone to host their own server and we have no intentions what so ever to make money off of this mod. We are however utelising community mods. Why re-invent the wheel when the community has already invented them. However, we do that by respecting their licensing and crediting every single contributor. Code wise our framework is 100% coded by us. Of course we have looked into other mods such as Altis Life or Exile just to get to know how to get things done. We really appreciate every mod maker who publishes their mods in a way that the whole ArmA community can make use of them. About: ArmA3-RP is a in-development hardcore Life-Mod for ArmA 3. Live another life in a virtual reality. Become a business man and create your own company. Manage your employees and sell your goods for the best price. Other companies will be dependent on YOU. Join the police force and become an Officer to protect the citizens. Become a Detective and investigate crime scenes. Work in dispatch and coordinate units. Become a paramedic or an emergency doctor and be a hero without wearing a cape. Towing or repairing vehicles is your dream? No problem, the breakdown service system is one of the most advanced out their. With databases for orders and a lot of custom repair objects. The same applies to the cops and the medics. There is a lot to discover! Not into being the “good guy� Grow drugs in your backyard and process them in your garage or house. Be carefull, one drop too much and it might explode. Our Goal: Our main goal is to provide a functioning and fun Life-Framework for Arma 3 to everyone. Every single file (excluding some .p3d and .rtm files) will be available to the public. That means that anybody will be able to create their own server with our mod. We are trying to make this as configurable as possible. We are aiming to have a single settings file to edit for server administrators in order to customize their servers with enough veriaty to distinguish themselfs from other servers. Let's be honest here: A good roleplaying ArmA Life Mod Server has always been about rulesets and administration instead of a lot of custom objecsts/scripts and stuff. Stage Of Development: Since the base for the framework is done we are currently implementing features. It takes a while because we try and think every feature through. We are trying to find a good balance between realism and playability for every feature we make. Arma being clunky as it is, is good for RP-Frameworks because everything is so slow. As soon as we have a working framework with a little bit to do in it we will most likely go through some internal testing and maybe even start a public alpha. Good evening Ladies and gentlemen Hakkar Logistics is a group that carries out small and medium operations in hostile envionrments, most of the operations vary between convoy patrols, elimination missions, intel recovery, sabotage, humanitarian aid in conflicted zones. Our unit is broken down to a similar way the Spartan army was structured with a few variants cuted out possitions to adapt it to our operation methods in our current context: (from top to bottom) - Commander - General - Squad Leader - Operative We aim to keep our hierarchy as small as possible to make our operatives essential elements to our operations, motivate them to become as versatile as possible in challenging situations. As our operations grow, it will be essential to have some of this squadrons specialize in certain tasks, this groups will be assigned as we grow bigger and the operations become more complex. This missions will be executed by a Zeus which is going to be the commander. SPOKEN LANGUAGES: English and Spanish CONTEXT Our unit is in control of the USS Phoenix, a carrier that is within Tanoan sea limits. After a biological all-out warfare between world powers, the civilian population of the world suffered a 80% of casualties,governments crashed and now the world is dying and the few of us who survived are determined to secure a livable environment for those survivors and find the root of the problem to weed it out, this will take us in alot of different kinds of missions and challenges, this successful missions will later be transcripted into written stories for our memories and hopefully videos. Our supplies at the ship are limited and need to constantly find ammo and weapon depots to restock our inventory at the ship. Rules - We expect our operatives to stick to their roles and context of the scenario once the mission briefing has been given by the commander. Anytime before or after the mission it is ok to goof around and/or be out of character. - Respect your team mates - 0 tolerance for trolls as well as 0 tolerance for snowflakes. - Adhere to the communication etiquette during missions - Problems with other players are to be discussed discretely with the commander of the unit.
