  1. Stranded An event occurred. It's origin unknown. Some say it's just nature restoring the balance. Some say it's a virus from outer space. Some say it's Judgement. Nobody truly knows. What we do know is that one day the dead started to rise. Everyone who dies rises again to attack the living and create more walking corpses. Countries that had the infrastructure managed to withstand the event whereas countries torn by civil war, famine and scarcity were not so lucky. Altis was not so lucky. You are a drifter. A faceless roaming survivor of the aftermath earning a meagre living scavenging and selling loot. You are nothing. A nobody and when you die you become another nobody. Over and over. Explore and pillage the island nation of Altis where the further you go the harder it gets. Battle across high risk/high reward loot zones where the better the gear the more dangerous the foe but don't stay out too long. You don't want to be outside a safe zone when night falls. Take on odd jobs. Kill zombies and bandits for money. The main feature of this scenario is what I hope to be re-playable fun that you can either enjoy in short spurts or play over a couple hours. Future Whilst this project is functionally completed there is more I would have liked to do with it however due to time constraints / inexperience I've had to cut features out. Over time I would like to add things like a sort of bounty system / reputation system plus expand and add more variety to what's in this scenario.   3. Looking for a good survival server Hello all, I'm looking for a good modded Arma 3 server to play on. I've played the game before but am now getting back into it. Prefered features are: 1. Not too much loot, but not too scarce either. Lower tier loot can be somewhat common with better loot being very hard to find. 2. Roving AI that hunt you; infantry at the minimum, ground vehicles are better, boat and aircraft patrols would be great! 3. Prefer militarized, with only civilian gear, weapons, and equipment available at traders; must search and scavenge for the good stuff. Or, perhaps, military being very expensive and require high respect/xp/whatever to purchase. 4. PvPvE, but if a PvE only server is good enough I'll consider it. Maybe even have PvP at night only? 5. AI survivable, but able to take you out in numbers if you're not careful. 6. Zombies: take 'em or leave 'em, I'm not particular, as long as there are enough AI to keep me on my toes. 7. A friendly and active player base who are down for some RP rather than shoot on sight all the time. 8. Missions, with a variety of difficulty levels for different skilled players. 9. Natural disasters, such as earthquakes, rad storms, etc. 10. And of course, the most basic survival aspects: food, water, thirst, fatigue, and body temps. 11. Base building! 12. Day/night cycle with decent length nights. 13. Sneaking/stealth; ability to avoid zombies and AI if you stay low and slow. 14. Not picky about any particular map, just needs to be a big one. 15. ... Probably more stuff, but that's just off the top of my head. If you think I might like your server, please let me know. Even if it doesn't have everything on my wish list, if it's fun enough otherwise, I might just give it a go. :)

  7. Hello, soldiers! Welcome to my latest mission: Eradication. Eradication is a mod/variant which combines the new Warlords mode and the Ravage Mod, creating a post-apocalyptic type Warlords scenario. Story: 10 years ago, a deadly sickness spread throughout the island. The island had been closed off and quarantined, left to rot and be consumed. Within the chaos, two major factions rose to the top. The year is now 2019, and a highly trained US Marine Task-Force has been deployed to establish a foothold on the island, neutralize the two major factions in the region, and attempt to eradicate as many infected as possible. BLUFOR players will control the US Marines, OPFOR players will control one of the major factions on the island, and the INDEPENDENT faction will be AI controlled and will defend all towns and cities with their lives. Renegades and lone survivors will also roam the island killing everything on sight. Both teams of players will have to loot and scavenge the area to ensure they never run out of ammo or resources. However there is NO hunger/thirst system as I thought it would take away from the main idea of the mission. You will be able to tweak some parameters before playing to make it customizable to suit your needs. To play solo/with AI: Host a LAN server normally and keep the AI in the player slots. Everything else is basically the same as the Warlords mode, but has been modified to fit the setting. If this mission is well received, I will make versions for other maps. More Info: - The Independents represent the 2nd major faction in the region, the 1st being the OPFOR faction. - You can search any wreckage or furniture piece. All buildings have been fully furnished. - Renegades and bandits will sometimes be carrying important Ravage items. - The OPFOR faction has slightly weaker units, but they make up for it by being cheaper to recruit.   10. Hello, I create this topic to inform you that a new persistent mission for dedicated server using the ravage mode is now available!!! The scenario is a team versus team on the map Ruha. I will describe step by step the goal of the mission. Mission File : https://drive.google.com/open?id=1EkEUWnESTgwZdBKbatfm1xI8vYtjCxhk After 68h of testing on dedicated server here the performance result : So its highly optimised, all the main features are spawned, simulation of AI, static object, weaponholder.... are perfectly managed. Solid 50 server fps/Low bandwith usage with 220 AI Primary objective and relating information Quick description : -Each team got a protected main base (off map) and a contested outpost (center of the map). The main goal is to evolve its 2 bases by bringing the cargo box that can be found on random crash sites. The player must find a truck to be able to load the crate then bring them in a predefined area (at base). Every 6 crate there is an upgrade (fortification, AI guard...). Note, this cargo box can be also used to stock loot. So the main objective is to survive, secure and upgrade the base, then raid the enemy base to steal the cargo box and equipement. Every player will be informed if any hostiles forces (player or AI) are approaching the base. Additional information about the main base : The main base (out of map) is protected except that it is not 100% protected, the enemy side got 5 minute to go trough a 800m radius then come back out of this radius, if not they are killed instantly. So if the main base is upgraded its impossible to raid it. The main base is also the respawn area, there is a map where the player can choose an insertion point, the insertion point are refresh at every server restart. Additional information about the contested outpost : The outpost didn't benefit from any special protection, so the player must hurry up to upgrade and defend this place. Take note that the outpost are closer from everything (loot, crashsite, point of interest...). The 2 ennemy outpost are close to each other to facilitate encounters between players and thus create hot zones. Secondary Stuff Secondary Camp : There is more than 10 static secondary camp on the map, they are hidden and the player must find them, this camp are identifiable cause they got the same set up, an abandoned house, 2 trailer and a white CUP flag. This little place are usefull to hide and secure loot, if any player is able to occupy a secondary camp for more than 1 hour (that also work with a friendly AI), a small team of friendly AI survivor will come to guard the area, there is no side restriction so if a blufor come then occupy the area for 1 h a small team of blufor survivor will guard, if an opfor player kill the guard then occupy the area for 1 h an opfor team will guard the area and vice-versa. Take note this zone can be triggered only 1 time for each side and the player didn't recive any information if the area is under attack. Base Building : There is a simple base building system, there is only few crate that can be found (mainly in warhouse), where the player can select from a panel of asset to build is own safe place, there is no restriction a player can build any asset anywhere or provide more fortification for the main base or secondary camp. AI recruitement : Every friendly AI are recruitable, make sure they got a first aid kit in their inventory to be able to revive you. Other playable unit : Playable Zombie : There is 2 playable Z slot if the player want have fun by doing Zombies stuff, they can jump and got a higher HP than the normal infected. Asian Bandit : There is 4 playable slot, Asian Bandit are the main AI roaming faction, they didn't get any base, protected area or secondary camp, so the player bandit respawn randomly on the map but they got a huge advantage, they can recruit any Asian roaming AI and can approach the crashsite without being attacked by the guard. Renegade : There is 4 playable slot, Renegade are hostile to everyone, this playable slot was added for the lonewolf player or for a more hardcore gameplay. Take note this Playable slot got a forced identity, so the playable Asian Bandit have an Asian face and speack Chinese, the Renegade have a ravage renegade face and speack french. Danger and weird encounter The player will be confronted to an hostile environement, horde of infected, bandit, dynamic radioactive area, radioactive rain, highly dangerous and unidentified threat (no spoil).   13. Ryans Zombies on our server are attacking empty vehicles (mainly when parked off road) and also seem to block players getting into the vehicle as well. I have found some old messages going back to 2016 noting this issue and an ai was spawned within the vehicle which causes some trouble, this was fixed I believe. Can anybody point me in the right direction to stop this annoying occurence. Cheers Very Much. Andy. Quick update, just tested multiple times, If I park a vehicle off road and let a Zombie hit it approx 50% of the time when I get out of the vehicle an AI is left in the drivers seat and the zombies carryon attacking the vehicle. It does not seem too happen on the road.

Offers full lighting control, storage, and base defences. Dynamic Body Temperature System Keeps the player notified of Overall Weather, and sickness. (freezing, Cold, Sickness... etc...) Dynamic Ship Wreck Spawner Dynamically Spawned Ship wrecks with loot across the map on the Coasts of Chernarus. Dynamically Spawned Animals Wandering, randomly spawned, food source... Once people knew what was happening and it got colder people shifted towards a more easier way of hunting they resorted to fishing rather than hunting wild game for meat, people were hunting because there were no longer anymore incoming shipments of supplies for food markets, people were starving... They thought the fish would keep the hunger at bay, and it did. That was until the fish became infected with the virus that plagued Chernarus.for the longest time, it made its way across the globe affecting all sorts of wildlife, but it didn't have any negative affects of the wildlife. No, the virus was searching for the perfect hosts and it found it, it was the humans consuming the fish. You will be tested here, the cold doesn't forgive any, and your hunger and thirst will also test your true human limits as you battle against the frigid weather. They can find few crate for build a safe base for stock their loot. A survivor can become a bad guy, kill the other blue survivor for their loot but they will be hostile to all blufor AI (trader...). Team green : They are the infected the main task its to protect their respawn and kill the other survivor. When a survivor approach an infected respawn you will receive a hint for exemple : "survivor near Nest 8" all you need to do its respawn, choose the Nest 8, respawn and hunt the survivor... simple. When a infected kill a survivor (player or AI) the victim will stand up as zombies, so more survivor dead = more infected. Note : If the resurected infected are deleted after stand up its cause there is no blufor survivor in the area. There is different anomalies on the map, every player or AI will be affected by this anomalies. There is big reward zone, that place are hide and guarded by zombies horde or demons (ryan Z) so if a survivor meet one of this horde (they got different behavior) or demons its because you are near this big reward, and its not all, after that, 2 switch one chance, wrong switch you die, good switch enjoy your reward. It has been almost 2 years since Russia sent a squad to search for scientists. Chernarus is completely isolated from the outside world. There is almost no electricity left. The border of Chernarus is guarded by the best russian soldiers. However, some stalkers found a secret path to the territory of Chernarus. A squad called "Walkers" entered the territory of Chernarus a couple of days ago to find valuable items. One of them (Artem) was bitten by an infected. After a couple of hours, he felt sick. He had to leave the squad. A couple of days later he contacted us. Symptoms of the disease disappeared. Everyone realized that he is an antidote. Artem left the squad near Polana. After he contacted us, he said he was in Solnichniy and was heading to Tulga. After that, the connection was lost. Perhaps he is still there. Our squad of stalkers detected demons who were going to Tulga. It is necessary to distract them from there and save Artem. Currently the squad is in the hideout near the village "Kamyshovo". 30 minutes ago, electricity disappeared almost everywhere... Once a tourist paradise, but now a very dangerous place to be! Further enhanced by usage of Bad Benson's immersive script suite tailored for RAVAGE: Temperature system makes campfires an absolute necessity – so getting wet from a little moonshine swimmig tonite is not a good idea if you can't warm up afterwards! Random Helicopter/airplane crashsites, vehicle spawns and airdrops make every playthrough different even in SP Random start and respawn locations in MP for all players – go find yourself a crew, Captain! And if your online friends let you down because of this lame excuse called „RL“, you can recruit any blufor AI with the RAVAGE recruiting system... AIS/A3Wounding System for the Revive – this is the HOT stuff cuz it works in SP also! See ingame Briefing hints for instructions on using that awesome piece of code and for the settings active in this mission! If you have any AI subordinates or play SP, your teammates will all be able to heal each other and you. In „mixed MP“ with some humans and some AI, the AI will also help the humans, even if those AI buddies are NOT the „Combat Medic“ class. Play as a small group through an adventure challenging you to show if you're ready to stand by your friend's side or rather choose to abandon one or even all of them in the face of mortal danger... Different win endings depending on your success and playstyle as a loner or as a team I'm happy to announce that my new "Tanoa Castaway" mission offers a persistent task with several sub-tasks. I achieved this by utilizing the convenient fact that ALiVE saves a vehicles position, health, ammo AND fuel state if any player has accessed the vehicle just once before the ALiVE savegame is made. Subtasks are to find three radio relays, then refuel their generators (depicted by a generator trailer and a truck with empty fuel tank) to finally power them up and send out a long range SOS. NOTE: Once a truck is refuelled, a player has to hop in&out once and then the session can be saved. After loading the ALiVE savegame, the trigger for checking the generator trucks which is set to repeatable on purpose will fire again due to ALiVE object persistency having saved the fuel level of the trucks. And once the "refuel" tasks are complete, the preliminary "finding" tasks also complete once again Did I mention this mission features a "digital sailing course"? You have to move from island to island either by paddling a PBX boat or motorboat with empty fuel tank (max speed 9 km/h) OR by sailing a yacht with up to 20km/h IF you sail it well and according to the "ropes" you get tought by a Field Manual entry and by an in-game GUI! Mission designed to make use of the improvements that came with RAVAGE 1.4.7, namely loot and equipment module variety: now props will spawn and lootable trash piles and furniture are there for you to scavenge. But beware: all loot types are only available in logical locations – so you won't find sniper rifles in a banana plantation's outhouse anymore! Phronk's „Addon Free Melee Script“ used to give all players a wrench as melee weapon at game start. Since the script is meant to work on items hand-placed in Editor, I didn't litter the whole map with axes, knives and whatnot. I simply give you a showcase of this cool script and the offer to try a unique playstyle fitting IMHO very well into an A3 RAVAGE mission. This script allows me to actually let you play through the grim experience of coming to a shootout wielding not even a knife, but just a wrench! Now go and create some vids of your flip-flopped game characters charging towards a bandit armed with a gun and beat him to death! Please do so with whatever battle cry your nation habitually yells out! Added ALiVE saving (local save, NO WarRoom Account necessary!) and player modules to the mission – this means you can use BIS save or ALiVE save in SP and only ALiVE save in MP. I have chosen to do so because the ALiVE save gives full object and inventory persistence for any and all boxes or vehicles or even loot objects left on the ground which players access during a SP or MP session. The usage in this mission is just for the persistence; so you don't need a Master Degree in ALiVE Gameplay. In fact, you won't even need a B.A. In SP, just press the ESC button and then you can choose between the usual „Save&Exit“ button or the „ALiVE SP Save“ button. Loading happens automatically when you start the mission. Even if you don't see the usual „continue“ button in A3 Scenario list, don't worry. ALiVE essentially emulates it's MP save resuming system when you use it in SP. So once you are ingame again, it will load the previous session's state automatically. You can also use ALiVE for managing your survivor team or for some debug/cheat options. If you want this, just press the „application“ button or whatever you have chosen to associate with ALiVE Menu. If you die in SP while using ALiVE save, you won't get a „reload“ button. Instead, quit to main menu and „restart“ the mission. You will load your last manual ALiVE Menu „Player Save“ or your last „ALiVE SP Save“ made on exiting the mission last time. In MP, you should try to get access to the GUI that lets you make an individual player save with ALiVE. You'll need that save if you want to leave the server before the other players or before the player who is Admin shuts it down. Speaking of which: easy as well! As Admin, press ESC, then choose „Server Save & Exit“. That's it! Once you do that, you save any players still on the server. Also in MP, the resuming of the mission is automatically. Oh, and you can move stuff around in the gameworld if it's not too heavy to lift. Crates, barbed wire, dropped weapons... Also you can load boxes (and their inventory) into your vehicles and later unload these again with mousewheel actions if the boxes are in a distance of 2 meters or less from the vehicles. NOTE: it's not recommended to mix between BIS SP savegames and ALIVE saving in the same playthrough, but if you decide to risk it and for this or for some other reason want to delete the ALiVE savegame, just execute this code in the debug console as sugested in the ALiVE WIKI: Manually clear data from the ProfileNameSpace when running Local persistence using the following commands. Only becomes really necessary to use if you play with one of the recommended AI mods. Wether it's ASR AI or VCOM, you WILL face the problem that RAVAGE ambient AI is stealing any cars they come across – and that could break some of the tasks in this mission. Usage of the unlock/lock script is via action menu. And just in case that you a) use VCOM or ASR AI and b) still forget to lock the Radio Relay trucks after (partially) refuelling them I have set the trucks to lock automatically once all players leave the area to spare you from rage quitting after you haul some fuel across the whole island to your radio relay truck... only to see some dirty thieves drive away with it right before your eyes! UPDATE 3 Fixed: Fixed a possible exploit with the refuelling tasks: now there is a check if you syphon out the fuel again after a generator vehicle has been checked as „refuelled“ - now you can no longer refuel one generator and then syphon the fuel out to use that very same fuel on the other generators as well ;-) Updated mission's modules to take advantage of the bugfixes in RAVAGE 1.52 Added: Radio messages in response to players using radio codes „Alpha“ and „Juliet“ after having successfully refuelled all generators and thus established a radio contact to the EVAC vessel. This way you get a more noticeable feedback on whether your SOS call actually got through to the rescue party and what to do next. A task directing you to meet the EVAC ship which gets completed once you come close to the vessel at the designated rendezvous location. A final task ordering you to actually board the EVAC ship which completes after doing so and thus make more obvious what you have to do to trigger the mission end screen. Availability of the Debug Console for all players to extend a helping hand to all the victims of black computer magic who can't access the console in SP...   22. Hello, This is my first time posting on these forums. Along with a small group, I've been playing Arma on and off for a few years now, but only recently got into Exile with Zombies. We've been playing on a "BS-Free" Malden server, which is awesome, but it's PVE-only. We would like to find a PVP server to play on as well. Obviously hosting servers is expensive, we're looking for a server we can donate to monthly and stick with long-term. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions of good servers playing on Esseker or Altis with Exile, Zombies, and PVP. We're located in Western Canada, but almost anywhere in NA would be fine. p.s. I apologize if this is the wrong place for this post. I wasn't sure between here and the servers section (which seemed more for server admins helping each other)

Due the entities density in this mission is quite high, player may experience framerate unstable in some various occasions. However, running this mission on Dedicated Server can solve this issue. 2. The mission is still work in progress, especially for the later part of the mission. It is still need more time to polish. Steam Workshop Introduction: You are an ex-military/veteran, who recently quit your career, and started to travel to Tanoa as your vacations. However, something went wrong and you have to escape from the island as soon as possible. The mission: Investigate the mystery of people disappearing and dead persons arise, also survive from all this mess. Playable: 1-10 players (recommended 3-6 is the best). Description: This is not a survival/RP type mission. Instead, it is a classic SP/COOP mission which heavily took an inspiration from Celery’s Chernarus Apocalypse series. Still have no idea what is the cause of the problem. -The dynamic compositions usually spawned float above the ground or outside the buildings.
