  1. What does this mod do exactly? This mod enables you to simulate a biological attack (or anything in your imagination) within a user defined/placed area and the only way you can make it through it is if you have a certain set of gear (all user defined). This mod is modular and allows you to define any headgear/goggles/uniform/vest (check features list for more details) to be considered necessary gear for traversing the area and there is a detector with sounds when you are in the area (similar to a Geiger counter) so you know if you need to have your gear on or not. Create safe zones or vehicles as you please. Zeus integration through Achilles or Zeus Enhanced. The mod will have no outside dependencies, but will be compatible with ACE3 in the sense of how damage is applied over time to the player if ACE3 medical is enabled on the client. See also: JSHK Contamination Gear Missions: Operation Tombstone: Prelude Current version: PUBLIC v0.5.6 Notes/Updates on current version: -Zeus functionality is only present when you are running Achilles OR Zeus Enhanced along with CBA, while they are not dependencies on the overall mod they are required since I'm using their functions. -If you have an issue with the mod, please post or PM me so I can fix it in a timely manner! -I do not know how much time I can dedicate to this mod and its evolution, but I do hope to push updates with cool new features as time goes along. I appreciate your future patience. -I have done minimal MP testing on all fronts as I don't have access to a server like I once did. Please let me know if MP doesn't work... Other Notes: -Make sure that the classnames for the gear DO NOT have quotations in the module input and separate each class with a comma. -To bring up your detector, make sure it is in your active inventory (the watch slot) and press your WATCH key (default is 'O') Changelog: Features List(s): Media: Some of the community members I really can't thank enough for their help and their patience with my unpredictable schedule: Ltf: -Module icon picture -Mask overlay images -Gear textures Evil Organ: -Environmental Effects post process effects code (currently WIP) zagor64bz: -Main Modification Logo and Detector GUI Interface aspects Soolie: -Detector GUI interface and code Mr. Skellington: -For his work on CBRN Defense Units that he has graciously released for public consumption The Achilles Team & Zeus Enhanced Team -For their functionality allowing for custom modules to be made through Zeus on-the-fly DOWNLOAD and SUBSCRIBE: Note: I plan to only release on the Steam Workshop for Arma 3 and a mirror on Google Drive
  2. IMMERSIVE HARDCORE SURVIVAL UK TIMEZONE DEDICATED SERVER Mission FINALdayZ eXile ReduX is a survival server for hardcore players seeking an authentic, difficult and immersive experience of a zombie apocalypse. You will not find spawn-able bicycles, way-point markers, free load-out weapons etc. You will find limited loot, disease, stamina, crafting, hunting (as well as being the hunted), fishing, mutants, radiation & EVR storms, hostile dynamic Ai, extreme weather effects, hundreds of sound effects, apocalyptic map additions, gore, ruined gear/rusty jammed weapons, barter trading plus much more... Immersion Featuring a comprehensive approach to the zombie apocalypse - FINALdayZ eXile ReduX aims to provide an experience unlike any other. Wherever possible, the server provides and enforces realistic gameplay and tough choices. Although the third person view is available, it is disabled when in combat, or when wearing goggles, gas masks & some helmets (these items also provide protection from radiation on Tara Isle). During the night-time you'll experience image deterioration making distant targets more elusive. The use of a map light will be required to navigate. Simulation Due to Arma3's ability to provide an accurate simulated environment, FINALdayZ eXile Redux maintains this quality whilst providing further mechanics which carefully observe how reality operates. From a realistic off-shore nuclear explosion and fallout, to the deadly frozen waters surrounding the islands. You'd be wise to behave here as you would in the real world. Obsession Attention to detail is the bedrock of FINALdayZ eXile ReduX - every item, mutant, wreck and building has been carefully chosen to enhance gameplay and provide an authentic experience. All locations have been given a forsaken appearance, telling tales of what went before. This level of detail is dynamic, ensuring that a good frame rate is achievable in every location. Attention There's no tutorial, no messages, no hand-holding - just you & your wits. Those with keen senses will be warned of incoming threats and opportunities, where-as those who rely on pop-up messages & map markers will not fare so well. Pay attention to your surroundings, listen to your radio and watch the skies. Survive the most brutal, atmospheric & immersive gameplay in Arma3...the FINALdayZ www.FINALdayZ.net
  3. Author: JTS Introduction: A mission in post-apocalyptic style. This is the continuation of Virus X - Scientists Description: August 10, 2023. It has been almost 2 years since Russia sent a squad to search for scientists. Chernarus is completely isolated from the outside world. There is almost no electricity left. The border of Chernarus is guarded by the best russian soldiers. However, some stalkers found a secret path to the territory of Chernarus. A squad called "Walkers" entered the territory of Chernarus a couple of days ago to find valuable items. One of them (Artem) was bitten by an infected. After a couple of hours, he felt sick. He had to leave the squad. A couple of days later he contacted us. Symptoms of the disease disappeared. Everyone realized that he is an antidote. Artem left the squad near Polana. After he contacted us, he said he was in Solnichniy and was heading to Tulga. After that, the connection was lost. Perhaps he is still there. Our squad of stalkers detected demons who were going to Tulga. It is necessary to distract them from there and save Artem. Chernarus Apocalypse 1+2

Hi everyone, I am making this post to share with you two missions made by a friend of mine. They are the Chernarus Apocalypse missions from ArmA 2 which have been ported to 3. The Chernarus Apocalypse missions were made by mission creator Celery. Part 1: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=744860331 Part 2: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=744860331 Map: Chernarus Players: 1-10 Description: This is a zombie coop mission with specific objectives and one life per character. Equipment and munitions are scarce and the enemy is dangerous and numerous, which promotes tactics, teamwork and good shooting. The zombies are resistant to bullets, and only a headshot is a reliable way to kill them. This part requires you to focus on tactics and fire discipline. Story: Most of Chernarus has been overrun by zombies. Shortly after the outbreak began, the world was alerted with an emergency transmission and a quarantine was attempted by the CDF, Russia, NATO and hired professionals. The quarantine failed after 22 hours and all surviving units retreated to protect the capital region except for the Russians who have a long border with Chernarus to the north. You are one of the few survivors left in South Zagoria, the ground zero of the outbreak, and have been waiting for a passing ship or other form of help on the eastern shore in vain. Just a moment ago, you picked up a plea for help over the radio requesting assistance at the Olsha hill radio tower. You must go northwest and investigate. Features: Addon-free but convincing zombies Several zombie behavior types Player characters have unique equipment and diaries Custom healing script with shareable bandages Zombies may drop bandages and magazines Pistols are accurate Selectable friendly fire damage rate JIP players start close to the group Character gear, bandages and damage are saved in case a player disconnects Spectator mode after death You can continue the game after dying by picking a new unit slot Pacifist or partial stealth run is very hard but possible Option to remove stamina Zombies can sprint Credits: ArmA 3 Port: Muttley Mission and scripts: Celery Apocalypse series concept: Celery and Zipper5 Voice acting: Rejenorst (www.rejenorst.com) Music: Thief: Deadly Shadows soundtrack composed by Eric Brosius Noises and screams: Thief II: The Metal Age and Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis Fog script: Rockhount (original by Yac) Requirements: - ArmA 3 - Community Upgrade Project (Terrains - Core, Terrains - Maps, Terrains - CWA, Units, Vehicles, Weapons) Changelog v1.3 Added UK59 and SA-61 as they were in original mission v1.2 Increased zombie sounds volume Removed NVG helmet from pilot zombie v1.1 Changed zombie sprint parameter - now all of them can sprint, only unarmored can sprint or none will sprint. Default option is "only unarmored can sprint" v1.0 First release to ArmA 3
  5. Hello community, in this thread we would like to introduce our MOD project "DeathTrap" for ARMA III. DeathTrap is a modification in the tradition of ARMA MODs such as DayZ Origins or Epoch, but also Exile. However, we try to go a step further. Our goal is the best possible and realistic implementation of a post-apocalyptic survival simulation. To achieve this, DeathTrap will contain some elements from the above mentioned MODs, but also many new components. Our MOD will contain zombies as well as other deadly creatures. There will be a sophisticated looting and crafting system, which allows the player to get vehicles back in shape and to build entire bases with a very flexible construction system. DeathTrap adds new vehicles and weapons to the stock game so as AI missions and random vehicle spawns. By developing DeathTrap, our focus lies on optimized (server)-performance and optimal usability. Points such as the loot system are somewhat different from other MODs, in order to reduce the system load on servers and clients. DeathTrap will also include its own GUI, which will guide the player intuitively through all the menus and dialogs. For further information, please visit our website at www.deathtrap.zone. Currently, DeathTrap is in the pre-alpha state. A first playable alpha will be available in the first half of 2017. Interested players can log in to our forum for a player slot for the closed Alpha. On Twitter, Facebook, ModDB and Discord we keep you up to date on the latest developments. On YouTube you will find among other things ourvideo DEV blog. news - about - media - FAQs - discussion board We are happy if we could use this thread to arouse your interest in DeathTrap. You can get in contact with us in our forum and discuss with us. Thank you for your attention. NetMonkey DEV team
