At first, the group is able to cause harm to the Russian intruders, but little by little, Tomas sees the strength of the movement crumbling and deteriorating. As eventually Dimitri is killed in an Russian ambush and Tomas, all at once, loses everything he loves and cares for, the resistance fighter finds himself all alone, devitalized and a broken man. In his darkest hour, Tomas is suddenly contacted by an agent of the U.S. intelligence, who is able to light up a small flame in the young Chernarussian again. Tomas learns that there are still people who want to rise up against the Russians. He is able to find new courage, meets new friends and goes on the most difficult journey of his life. He passes through adventures and defeats, experiences friendship as well as betrayal and faces survival and death. I have a problem on Arma resistance on mission hostages when I start the mission I IMMEDIATELY got damage once the mission started. And of course that made the player lie because of damage and cant stand up please how can I fix this(THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS EVERYTIME I START THIS MISSION!!!)

Yes, ahem, well, uhh this is my first post here, of which will most likely be many. I do admit, it has been a really long time since I submitted anything to a BI forum, so please, mea culpa, forgive me. I have spent the past 18 years watching BI's baby grow into the amazing creature that it is. Via bloody YouTube of all places. Yes, please, feel free to castigate me all you like, in fact, find me in game and make me work it off . It's not that I didnt want to play, just that life got in the way, and I found console gaming to ease the itch when I found that valued hour, or two, between life, parenting, and work. I did play OPF/RH/Resistance religiously in my youth, and modded many a machine to give me that draw distance we all know we needed. I participated in the community that has given so much, both to BI, and to us as players. I helped with mods, custom missions, scripts, and above all gave many virtual wristys to the BAS mod team who made the first iterations of BI's creations that much more exciting. And then, well, life got in the way. I am now however in the position to get back amongst the games that I loved in my youth, and with my latest custom build, and the very first Steam purchase, namely ARMA3 APEX, I am so keen I am still wiping the jizz off my 65" 4K OLED monitor after I kicked off the tutorial about an hour ago. What else can I say, holy jizz stains, this thing is just amazing. Anyway, enough with the jizz, and on with the biz. I am looking forward to once again engaging with this community, and also participating in whatever I can help with. I am unaware of where the BAS team moved onto, whether they are still around under another label, or like me just had life take its way, but I am keen to mod, script, and edit my way to many hours of fun and frustration, if that is still available that is. For those who still remember the glory days, please, by all means, say hi, tell your tales, and enlighten me as to where I can pick up again. I have around 2gb of original OPF+dlc mods/scripts/custom edits to share if you want to ever revisit the old days, not that the originals may even work on todays machines, but if the mod tools are still the same (I doubt it) then maybe I have something to help us all. Say hi, feel free to call me old as f*ck, and bring the banter, because banter kept things alive back then, and it keeps me alive now. Cheers.

I don't know how to trigger my mission's end using this method but with owner being independent / resistance / guer instead of west or east. All I get are errors. Is it even possible for Ind to win sector module based sector control missions?

Dying Ember Author: Undeceived Version: 1.8 (updated June 24th, 2017) Note: Please note that the following second and third chapters of the campaign won't be released anymore. Of course the first chapter with its 10 missions will stay here. If you want to play it, give it a go - if you like story based and cinematic campaigns, you could have some nice hours with it - after all it has 10 missions. I'd be happy to get feedback and I'm still up to fix (critical) bugs. But be aware that there won't be a continuation of the story/campaign, which means that many open questions won't be answered and the end might feel like a teaser that never ever will be satisfied. 😄 For those few who liked the first chapter and were waiting for the story to continue - I'm sorry, guys... 😞 The thing is that I simply can't bring up enough motivation to get on with it, even though some missions of the next chapter are already in a somewhat playable status and even though the whole plot itself is more or less set up - including some nice twist and stuff. As a prequel to Bohemia Interactive's "The East Wind", its plot is embedded into the Arma 3-universe and its timeline. The project was supposed to consist of three chapters, of which the first one (this one here) was a finalist in the "Make Arma Not War" contest. This first chapter contains 10 missions. It portraits: The Kavala coup d'etat in 2026 The following establishment of a military dictatorship by the Altis Armed Forces (AAF) The beginnings of a resistance movement Pavlos, the main character, and his best friends experience the 2026 Kavala coup d'etat and fight the following totalitarian military regime, in order to get back their and Altis' freedom. They experience the fall of the democratic government and start resisting oppression and non-existent freedom of opinion, even though at first they have only themselves and almost no equipment. The second and third chapters (which were cancelled) would have been set in the Altian civil war and the time of the Jerusalem Cease Fire of 2030. Yes, not the most original name ever. This is yet another variant of a mission I've been creating and recreating for personal use since the beginning of times. One team attacks, one team defends. You are a rifleman in a VDV squad, in singleplayer, or you can also choose to be a member of the resistance in multiplayer (up to 6 players each). Nothing too fancy, in any case. Just something short and simple that can be replayed every now and then for some quick fun. FEATURES Short and action packed mission (around 15 minutes) Assault the base as VDV or defend it as a member of the resistance (the latter only in multiplayer) Compatible with both single and multiplayer modes (no respawn) Spectating script on death that works both in single and multiplayer (by Kegetys and Faguss) Make it more challenging by playing in Veteran mode: skill levels are higher and fleeing chance lower for all units All WW4 EXT unit features enabled (rucksacks, tracers, bullet cracks...) except deletion of disposable launchers CAS support requested by the AI for east side Jet flybys for jets and personal menu enabled Cover script by General Barron and Random Building Position by Tophe to help the AI provide a solid static defense kInfoshare script that allows AI units share knowledge about enemy locations DTV script package to activate dynamic speech for all AI units (requires DrongosToolkitVoices.pbo and ECP_DSAI.pbo (found inside ECP)) kSuppression script package allows AI units to react to suppressing, incoming fire and grenades REQUERIMENTS WW4 v2.5 WW4 EXTENDED v0.9.3 or higher DOWNLOAD v1.2: http://ge.tt/9Y9LTWk1 There's two versions included in the linked file. The normal one includes all the features mentioned above. The "simple" one has DTV and kSuppression deactivated. Use that one if you don't want to download the required pbos and/or don't want those extra features for whatever reason. I've also provided both missions unpboed for you to take a look at how things work internally in an easy way. Or to tweak the mission to meet your own preferences or system requirements. There's quite a lot of units in a relatively small area (about two platoons for each side), so you might find it somewhat sluggish at moments, depending on your system and performance standards. On the other hand, it can be quite spectacular to watch and play through. FWATCH recommended, just in case you end up being the leader. Being able to use a key to show up the personal menu is a godsend compared with the sluggish action menu method. Also, if you have the time and will, get both pbos mentioned above so you can activate DTV properly. It really livens up the atmosphere of the mission. Have fun.
