This means you will have to edit quite a few config files to get it running the way you like. TADST is a tool that will greatly simplify this. All you need to do is to choose the settings you like. Then the application will create all necessary files according to your settings and start the server with the appropriate arguments. All necessary files will be created in a folder called 'TADST'. You can save different profiles to easily switch between server setups. In the folder TADST a new folder for each profile will be created. This folder contains all files associated to the profile. INSTALLATION ============= Copy the file 'TADST.exe' to your Arma game folder. * Note that it's important that the file is in the game root folder i.e. C:\Games\Steam\SteamApps\common\Arma 3 * If you are upgrading from an earlier version of TADST you should delete your old TADST folder so the program can create new settings files.   3. Intro After using Arma for a long time and having my own dedicated server, I always found very hard to keep my mods up to date. So I used Flax's tool (FAST) to make the whole thing work but there was some issues. The software tend to be quite slow sometimes, some menus are not working completely and the command output was a bit weird. I ended up building my own version of his tool, since it is not maintained anymore, by translating the entire code into something more recent, fixed the issues I found and reworked the code behind. Download You can find the latest release below : 64 bits Version 32 bits is not supported for now. If you require a 32 bits version, contact the developer directly Extract the files somewhere on your computer and run FASTER.exe. I recommend creating a shortcut to avoid the hassle of having to find the program.   4. Hello! I would like to play the S.O.G Prairie Fire coop campaign together with my friends on our dedicated server and not on public servers or a self-hosted game. With the Apex coop campaign you only have to enter the missions in the server.cfg.   5. I just setup my server and everything works properly but after 2-3 mins i get kicked for the reasons in title. Since this only appears on my own server i thought someone with more knowhow could help me. I turned of my norton security ultra and added exceptions but nothing, i added the arma ports to my router but also nothing. I deleted several BE folders, reinstalled BE and arma but all i tried without any success. I do not play with any mods or DLC content, only official CP coop 12 maps. EDIT FIX: Norton security ultra blocked it, even with exceptions and i tried to turn it off completely but it worked after i deinstalled and added the exceptions to windows defender (do not forget to open your ports!!!).
  6. So i just setup my first Arma 3 server for combat patrol. I only wanna play combat patrol with official missions on it, i managed to setup the map rotation but i wish to change the mission parameters (like objective or daytime) but i don’t know how since i only play official maps. It works ingame as an admin but I’d like to have the settings permanent. I know you have to create a file for edited/created maps and add the „class params“ lines in there but that won’t work in my case. Adding the lines to the .cfg does also not work. Is that even possible? If so please tell me how.
  7. I bought the new Creator DLC S.O.G Prairie Fire. I also rented an Arma 3 game server from Nitrado. How do I get the DLC on the server now? I saw there is a folder named "vn" in which the DLC is stored. Do I just have to load it onto the server and can then just start playing? Mods always have "@" in front of the name. This is then uploaded to the server and activated. How's that with SOG Prairie Fire?

  10. I have loaded CUP Terrains, CUP Vehicles and CUP Units on my Arma 3 server. But whenever I want to load the mods crash the server. The RAM consumption then breaks down from 2.5GB to 0.6 GB and the server is no longer to be found in the server browser. I once unloaded all my other mods and just loaded the CUP mods and it happens the same thing. But with my other mods, the server works. Only the CUP mods don't work. I did everything right. I put the mod folders in the /arma3 directory on the server and placed the keys from the keys folder of the mods in the keys folder on the server. But it doesn't work. why? Can someone help me? Because we need CUP on the server. I also want to load RHSUSAF on the server but I'm afraid that the same thing happened with CUP. Can who help me? If who needs the log files so he will tell me. I've tried sites like whatsmyip but my friends can't join at this address. I have an IPV6 address. I want to buy the new Vietnam Dlc when it is available and then play the co-op campaign and therefore I want to see how it works with the local servers.

In most cases, specifying the host and port should be sufficient. Nicknames usually should not be specified, leave this to be configured by the users in the client. So a common URL would look like this: ts3server://ts9.teamspeak.cc?port=9987 Or simplified if only the port is given: ts3server://ts9.teamspeak.cc:9987 CREDITS The orginal concept and a working example was by Larrow His original post https://forums.bohemia.net/forums/topic/169501-link-to-website-in-briefing/?do=findComment&comment=3277456 He is the one that deserves the credit for this. His original version only had 1 button and wasn't available in the initial briefing screen. My version has 4 buttons (I cant see you needing more than 3 really) LIMITATIONS The system uses classes to create buttons that are defined in the Description.ext environment. This is the only way I can see to pass an external URL link. For that reason it cannot be injected into the client using a serverside addon. So the only way to get this to work is as part of the mission file. That's a lot of editing for server admins and their mission devs FUTURE DEVELOPMENT If someone better at coding than me wants to rip this and optimise it more, feel free, I'll happily update the example mission and re update it. Hi, So after new update, our server which is rent from GTX ran into issue where player will experiencing mass fps drop and screen freeze every 1 second which make the game unplayable and cap at 30fps. We was thinking this would because it was our map issue and dive into "simple object" mode, but we were wrong. No matter how hard we try to optimal the object in eden, the same problem still happen. here is also bunch of thing we have try Restart the server ( restart map not physical restart ) = some time it work, most time it don't! Roll back the server map to the last smooth run file = doesn't work RE-Update all the mod = doesn't work Digging thought RPT and eliminate all the object that might cause a unwanted loop = doesn't work Write a ticket to GTX = doesn't work (yet!) Start an empty map = doesn't work too load Stratis map = also doesn't fix anything ------ the fps drop however stop once we get in vehicle ( which have 10000 viewdistance) at this point we really have   18. I've enjoyed playing some custom missions with my friends, but i was always the one that made the missions and hosted them. But since a month or so (Tank DLC) my friends can't see my server anymore and we've tried all possible ways to join: "Join friend", "Direct Connect" "Friends" "Recent" "Filter by host" "Filter by mission". We've even got so far to try to join with the launcher browser. When we tried that they see my server name and can enter the password but they crash when the game starts. My brother is able to join, proberaly since we live in the same house. I didn't touch any router settings and my firewall isn't blocking the network. Any ideas?
  19. #pissedoff I don't think I need to mention how annoying it is to spend hours getting from one end of the map to the other to get all your kit just be killed by a glitchy car and have to do it all over again. I love dayz, but once things like this have happened enough you start to get fed up. Which is why I stopped playing for ages. I finally started playing again a while ago. I went all out looking high and low for the kit I wanted. Couldn't find any ARs though. NONE on ANY SERVER. just rifles and every now and then an smg. Regardless I got myself together a half decent loadout, just for an update that comes with a complete wipe to be announced. Ofcourse I stopped playing until the update was released, which I'm pretty sure was late. So I give up. However, I decided to play your pointless game again last night. Of course I spawned in with a fresh character. Spent my gaming hours last night making my way up to the middle airfield I died once, but made it with my second character. Although I had no food or water by the time I got there (remember that). I did a quick sweep of the barracks at the top then logged off for the night, ready to come back on this afternoon, do a full sweep of the base then head up to the next one. I log on today, got a 75 second spawn in timer and a message warning me that because of a server change, my position might change, which of course, it did. Spawned in a field with no food or water, no doubt miles away from the base. I found a house not to far a way with a can of peaches in it. Luckily cuz I was about to start dehydrating. Not sure if that will be enough to get me to a town or not though. So my question is should I keep playing? This switching position thing is a blessing and a curse. It fixes some of the main issues like duplicating and spawning in people's base. But when you start punishing the legitimate players, is your game even worth playing anymore? Who knows how long it'll be before you wipe the servers again, that alone makes the game pretty pointless. It's a shame cuz I like this game but I really don't know if I want to play it again. I'm sat in that house where I found the peaches, debating whether or not to log back on and continue.

  21. I just got the game last night, tried to play it, and literally every one of the 4 game modes say”no suitable servers found”. So I gave up for the night and decided to try again today. To no surprise, the same thing happened. I figured I could convince a few friends to try it with me since the “host server” option was my only choice. I tried it, and once again, it’s unplayable because after I set up a game, they can’t join me via search OR direct connect. Wtf?
  22. Hey there, I am trying to implement a caching script similar to ZBE_HCCache to free up some resources on my custom beCTI mission. It is working as intended so far, when any unit gets in range to any enemy unit it will be reenabled via _x enableSimulation true; on all machines (server, hc1, hc2, hcX and so on), BUT in the enemy check all aircraft are somehow being ignored. They do not get their simulation reenabled other than on the client they are local to.   23. I'm using a TCAdmin panel to manage my server. I've installed my mod list, and have loaded up a modded mission. Took me long enough to get all that right. But now I have a slight issue. The "required mods" page lists no required mods. I can keep our mod list loaded and join it manually, but I'd like to make it so that it ells you what you are missing and forces you to sync up mods to join.
  24. I run Arma 3 servers casually for my friends and I to play on. For the longest time I have been using an old Command Prompt Batch script to download and install Workshop content. Though the batch script works, it's tedious to use and modify.   25. Hi!. In a mission I am using the BIS_fnc_dynamicText function to create notifications of completed tasks. When I do the test in SP, the notification appears in the place I want, but when I test it in the dedicated server it appears in another position. Does anyone know what this could be? Thank you!
