  1. Hey all, Can someone please share the information on how to remove the stock campaign missions from the vote menu ? I assume I can just delete them from the \Addons directory but that will mean that I have to eliminate them every update ... correct ? Is there a better way to get rid of them and still allow players to vote for the maps ?
  2. Hello, i am Saige312 part of the 9th JSOC, rank was E-5 - Sargent. We have been previously known as the Task Force 72. A while back we got split up because one of our CO's (Walrus), decided to leave because he was very upset over how we run things. So we lost the majority of our men to the 17th BCT who is run by Walrus, a previous member of Task Force 72. Fast forward a few months to the release of Apex where TF72 was going to start up again. Once it was released, the owner of TF72 decided to step down as command and give up on the TF72 which made 80% of the community to leave, leaving only 14 left. That 14 group decided to create the 9th Joint Special Operations command (9th JSOC). And we havent been doing to well of a job to hold our community together, we all have advanced training in all fields for arma going from riflemen, auto-riflemen, engineer, combat medic, and so on. All we need is more recruits for our community to show how serious we are about amra 3. Since we have been so under the radar, we dont have a strong schedule at the moment but once we see people are interested in our community, we will have a very strong and organized JSOC. We have a TS if you want to know more about the 9th JSOC. We also have our own website to see what our recruitment form is like. We will accept anyone who sends one in if they are mature enough. We just want players that will play arma 3 tactically with a whole squad. We just need to figure a few things out and take the time to perfect the mistakes we made in the past. Thank you for reading.   3. I did a retexture of the NATO coveralls and can't seem to get the .paa file to load in game. It just loads the standard NATO coveralls onto the character and gives me a "can't load .paa file" error. This really pisses me off because the Mission end trigger that ends the mission after 10 mins can only be activated once... Can anyone help me with this? In KOTH there are always different kinds of missions that switch without players having to leave or wait...
  7. Greetings everyone, I am sorry if my question is not apropriated here but I have searched and I have not found that which I seek. Is there any plugin, mod or custom settings that improves Arma 3's ingame editor scripting capabilities (the code windows in init, triggers etc) ? It would be great if it was possible to make those text boxes behave more like a normal text editor, with line droping, bracket completion and other things. Does anyone know something of the sort? The 173rd was founded on September 18, 2016 by two people, passionate in their minds to have one of the best units they could create. as of right now, we only have a teamspeak until we get at least a squad or platoon, then will move on to get a functioning server to conduct operations and training on.   9. Hello to BIS and community. I apologize if I has written in incorrect thread of forum, sure this beyond Arma 3. There some questions I'm worried about upcoming 1.64 update introducing VAC flags for accounts which were banned by Battleye. https://dev.arma3.com/post/sitrep-00171Logistics section. First question is it retroactive? So if account was banned before this update is it still going to be flagged by VAC? I'm sure this shouldn't be retroactive, just like real life laws (see ex post facto law). Also these VAC flags can have consequences on certain servers and communities.

I know how to save custom compositions using editor which then saves here : C:\Users\*******\Documents\Arma 3\compositions. Question is how to put the compositions file into a mod that can be loaded and used my editor and zeus.     13th MEU Realism Unit | Recruiting

    13th Marine Expeditionary Milsim/Realism Unit Who are we? The 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit is a United States Marine Corps Milsim/Realism unit for ArmA 3, which is based on 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Realism Unit strives for a realistic/milsim environment. The 13th Marine Expeditionary Realism Unit has a Phase 1 and Phase 2 training, our training is based directly on the real life USMC training, only to be vastly scaled down and our training instructors have filtered it to be necessary to ArmA. We have ownership of a forums, and a Teamspeak server and an ArmA 3 server, as well as being firmly organised. We are currently looking for members to expand the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, and strive to fill up our first Company. What do we do? All our recruits who join our unit, are welcomed to our Phase 1 and Phase 2 training taught by our Drill Instructors, and this training spans from FTX drills, to train our recruits to be ready for our operations as well as exercises in home rotations. In term of dates, our trainings and operations occur on a weekly basis, operation time occur from 2000EST to 2200EST on a Sunday and other training times vary. In terms of operations, once recruits have finished Phase 1 and Phase 2 trainings, they can attend our deployment operations which are set on different maps, and have a solid backstory for roleplay, and when deployments are not occurring, we have our FTXs or Field Training Exercises. We currently have Zeus mission operators that ensure the highest quality and realism of our missions in our deployments. Why join us?   18. When I start up Arma 3 in Steam (that is, fire up the Arma 3 launcher) it appears to download every subscribed add-on/mod from the workshop. For large mods like CUPS, Bornholm, etc this can be up to a 30 minute delay! Shouldn't it just verify your local mod content and then only download new or missing content? Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a setting I don't have configured properly? The obvious work-around is to load the large add-ons manually, but long-term that seems to defeat the whole purpose of the workshop framework.

Currently, our roster consists of over 50 members. We live up to our name with members hailing from over 20 different countries. We mostly play cooperative missions, which can be made by anyone in the group as long as we are content that you understand some basic technical requirements. All missions have at least one active Zeus. The mods we use on the server are mostly focused on creating a realistic feel for the players. A list of the mods we use can be found here. We play various factions. Most of the time we will play as bluefor factions, however there are plenty of sessions in which we play as different factions. We play daily and all operations are at 7pm GMT with an extended operation on Saturday. Requirements We are looking to increase our numbers with respectful, patient members. Need to attend at least one operation a week. We value leadership and initiative. We are interested in applicants who are willing to lend us their skills and help our organization grow and improve. We only accept applicants above the age of 20, though exceptions can be made if you can prove to us that your age is a non-issue. Applicants must have a functioning microphone, the ability to use Teamspeak3 and Apex. Application process Fill out the application form and one of our recruitment officers will contact you as soon as possible!
  20. As the title says, official multiplayer servers need either admins or team killing needs to be disabled. Why? If you have ever tried playing Zeus Game Master in multiplayer you know it's total cancer due to team killing noobs and trolls. The worst thing about this that there is no way to keep this from happening. You can start a vote kick but people rarely vote and it doesn't keep trolls from reconnecting. In End Game the problem isn't that bad because there is a solid objective and it's easier to ignore trolls. In Zeus however trolls can ruin everything by destroying friendly vehicles and team killing. Possible solutions: - Community admins who know their stuff and have rights to kick and ban people. Obviously this would take a lot of effort. - Give game masters rights to kick people. Easier solution but obviously chance for abuse would be higher. - Disable team killing. This solution would be the easiest one but it has drawbacks like realism would suffer. Please tell your thoughts. Also I'm sorry if this is not the right place to post this.

  22. Hello guys. First of all, thanks for the addition. It will be a very useful tool for us who edit and create game modes. Well, that said, i would like to begin with a suggestion which already exists in Zeus, that is the customizable crate/container/ammobox. While i was checking on Eden, i didn't find any means to do it like we do with Zeus, can only do that like it is on the 2D editor. Could that be possible? A way to create a custom ammobox with the Eden? Thanks for reading, and again, thanks for the incredible tool you're developing.
  23. Hello everyone, I have begun work on an Arma 2 Warfare BE clone for Arma 3. I've started from scratch with the intent of making a far more optimised CTI for Arma 3 which plays just like it did back in Arma 2. I write to you now asking for expressions of interest in such a mission, as I have noticed that previous and even current Arma 3 CTI projects are left unplayed and eventually abandoned (WASP and Gossamer's to name a few) Would you be interested in an Arma 3 Warfare, akin to Arma 2's Warfare BE?     ArmA 3 Crashes

    Try joining another server, then rejoin the previous one. Update the graphics card drivers to a newer version. Rollback the graphics card drivers to an older version. Check the temperature of your GPUs and CPUs. Verify the integrity of the game cache using Steam Re-install DirectX Uninstall the Visual C++ 2013 Redistributable package (x86 version), restart your computer and install the package again (do not use the Repair function). Run a Windows System File Check Tool to repair corrupted system files. ​I've done all of it, except the DirectX as Windows 7 is has the latest DirectX pre-installed. There are some very specific times when my game crashes. It always crashes when in-game. It always crashes when I try to do the bootcamp (after I complete the Virtual Reality stage and it crash just as I enter the second bootcamp) It crashes when I try to join a server. It loads the Designation menu, I can choose my team and role. My player spawn but it starts lagging alot, like 3-4 fps and then it crashes. It crashes in some specific mission from Showcase, for instance, it crashes everytime I load the "Firing from vehicle" mission from Marksman DLC. It crashes within 2-3 minutes from the start of the mission. I don't understand what is going wrong. The only possibilities left now are I do not have enough RAM to run ArmA 3 ArmA 3 installed on my PC is corrupt. It is something from BI's side and I've to wait until they launch their next update.
