The East Prussian Infantry was formed in December 2010 for the purpose of accurately representing historic military structure and tactics to the best of our ability within the gaming universe, while maintaining a social-community style atmosphere. Our unit and family has grown over the years, and we've had the opportunity to educate many not only on game-play, but on the tactics and structure of a military unit of the era. We've found that recreating historical structure in a video-game attracts a more mature crowd, and makes game-play a little more challenging. From our humble beginnings as a Prussian line-company practicing Napoleonic-era battle doctrine to subject-matter experts on German small-unit infantry practices on the field during WWII, The East Prussian Infantry is a one-of-a-kind, organized, professional group of historians reenactors, and gamers using 21st century gaming as a way to entertain and educate. A Long, Proud History Originally established as a Prussian Infantry regiment set in the Napoleonic-era, for over 6 years, the East Prussian Infantry served as a professional line-unit well-versed in historically accurate battle doctrine, capable of fielding mass formations of soldiers, each fully understanding his or her duty and role. What the East Prussian Infantry was able to achieve took much teamwork and enthusiasm from the many who participated over the years. This is especially important when we are in events or on a public server. 3. Follow Orders. There is a time and place to discuss tactics and whether or not certain orders should be given or not. Directly after the order is given is not one of those times. This also applies to the Rules laid out by admins on their servers. We respect the right of admins to run their servers. 4. Do not retaliate. Regardless of the situation, if something is done to you (ie Teamkill, insult, etc) you are not to retaliate! Instead, you are to inform an officer or admin and report the problem. Anyone found retaliating will be dealt with in the same manner as the original offender. HI, does anybody knows fix to this bug?? it happens almost every time i join server/start sp game and sometimes its not realy bad but sometimes u cant see anything (see pictures) It happens both on modded version and vanilla.. i was running this game on this PC for long time but i didn't have any issue before here are my specs: Intel® Core™ i7-4500U 8gb ram AMD Radeon HD 8750M 2gb

However obviously, like Arma 3 do not have "C&C compatible" buildings in its gameplay (i mean Strategic Center, War Complex, etc...), all forces buildings will be remade to match with the A3 environnement, even if its not in A3 game. Stratis will probably will be one map only but, Altis is pretty big and risk to not fit on map. That is why we risk to split the maps in some parts obviously playable in solo and multi.   8. Hi everyone, After more than four years of post-release development, the Arma 3 team is gradually moving onto new projects here at Bohemia Interactive. This includes the development of new games, as well as the development of the technology and tools that will power our future projects. Of course, we've not yet reached the final destination on the current Arma 3 roadmap, and with Tac-Ops and Tanks DLC on the way, there's still a lot to look forward to! Beyond that, as we'll be investing our resources into the longer-term future, it means that Arma 3 Tanks will most likely be our final, official, DLC release. Of course, we'll still be supporting the Arma 3 platform with updates afterwards. However, these should not involve major changes to the game's core architecture, which also makes it less likely for such updates to cause compatibility issues, and helps us to ensure a more stable platform overall. Regardless, thanks to our dedicated community, we're convinced that Arma 3 will remain active and relevant for many more years. Yet to help Arma 3 continue its life as a constantly evolving platform, there's one other idea that we wish to pursue. Namely, we'd like to work with external development teams, including the splendid developers in our community, to publish their Arma 3 projects as third-party premium DLC on Steam. As most of you probably already know, Arma 3 Jets DLC was the first opportunity for us to become familiar with third-party development partnerships. This DLC was developed together with BRAVO ZERO ONE STUDIOS (B01) - an external team led by Make Arma Not War winner Joshua "Saul" Carpenter. To put it simply, B01 developed the premium assets like the new jets and carrier, while our own development team took care of the related free platform features such as the sensor overhaul. It was a very challenging, but also satisfying and successful project. And even though we don't have the resources to directly support the development of any future third-party DLC (unlike the more cross-collaborative approach to Jets DLC), the overall experience has made us confident about extending this opportunity to other external developers. Furthermore, this opportunity also connects with our belief that quality content creators, including the talented developers in our community, deserve a financial reward for their hard work - and facilitating this would eventually lead to many benefits for everyone. At the same time, we're also very keen to preserve everything that makes community content and modding such a beloved component of our series. For this reason, let us already point out a few things: We'll be looking to select and publish new projects, but also existing projects that would be able to scale up in quality/quantity as a result of being published as a premium DLC. However, we'll always insist that any existing free Arma 3 addons and mods remain free. In other words, third-party DLC we publish should never replace something which was previously free. Different from Arma 3's official DLC so far, this new third-party premium DLC would always be an optional installation. This means you only download the DLC data after you've purchased the third-party DLC pack - and so if you didn't purchase and install the additional content, you wouldn't see it listed in Arma 3's main menu or in the Editor's content browser. As mentioned earlier, we'll not be able to offer development support for third-party DLC. However, we will provide guidelines on technical and quality requirements, assist with the Quality Assurance process, help with promotion and deliver the tools for mastering. Lastly, we know from experience how difficult it can be to bring a project to completion. With that in mind, we currently anticipate that probably only a few third-party premium DLC packs will get published each year. Our intention is to ensure a steady flow of exciting new Arma 3 content over the next few years, while also making sure not to clutter the game with an excessive amount of premium DLC. For now, we're mostly looking to get the ball rolling by inviting those who are interested in a collaboration to send us their DLC proposal. To do so, please send us your pitch (which should already include a working in-game prototype delivered as an Arma 3 mod) to businessdevelopment@bistudio.com. After we've evaluated your concept and if we see potential, we can start discussing the details of the agreement, the development schedule, and anything else that might be relevant to your project. All in all, we know you'll have many more questions, and quite honestly, we might not have all the answers just yet. We're currently in the process of formulating the basic guidelines, and forming the team of people who will be guiding the entire process. We'll probably also be making some mistakes and all be learning as we go. However, in the end, our ambition is straightforward and clear: to establish a third-party publishing framework which benefits our content creators, our players, and our longer-term future.   9. Hi everyone. I am looking for a way to show a big countdown clock that starts from 18:00 to 00:00 Is there a way to do this? I can create scripts that would pop up messages say how long is left. But I want the timer to show up on the upper left side of th screen and actaully countdown the time. I will be grateful if anyone could help me.
  10. Yes one problem solved and now on to another... Go to host a multiplayer game, change it from LAN to Internet, put my password in, change to 4 players, and check UnPn (or whatever it is) and then click "Host server" ... Nothing.. Game freezes to where you have to Clt Alt Del out of the game. There is not issue with a LAN game, but really want the Internet to work. I do not have port fowarding setup as never needed it before. Haven't been able to play an Internet MP game since.. yep, the 64bit update (same as other post).... I marked all Arma 3 files Allow on the firewall... Do I really need to setup up port fowarding for Arma and Steam?? Thank you !!!!

  12. In the Merchandise store, there are some Arma 2 patches for sale like the ChDKZ, Chernarus Flag, NAPA patch. But there are no Arma 3 patches at all. I would love to have CSAT or TF Aegis patch as well. Any chance of these ever hitting the store?

  15. Hi Guys, I have written a HoldAddaction script (below) which returns all the dead Opfor units and applies the action, this is in the init.sqf. It functions as intended for SP&MP use for placed Units. If any units are dynamically spawned via other scripts/mods then this will not function on these units. Is this because the If/Then script has only initialised once when server is created and then for each player? I have tried using a While/Do loop but due to the tick time if will continuously add a new HoldAddAction for each time it ticks which obviously kills the frames, I'm looking for a way for this to loop every so often to ensure the newly spawned units inherit this HoldAddAction.

    Hello, So I just got a New Hard drive put into my Computer that I USED to play Arma 3 on everything was working great No Crash, No Errors. Until I got the new Hard Drive put in 1TB. Now everything start crash I cant even start up the game without it crashing and popping up this Error : https://gyazo.com/96b23b2b75f67166651466e664f39030 with my Computer I got a New Razer Mouse and Razer Headset but those are not causing it to crash I look up everything to fix it doing that System thing in paramater, deleting account folder, Everything else to try to fix it and nothing happening here more screenshot of everything to see if anybody can fix it for me please. https://gyazo.com/7afb11f922ce67304c1a657bff118277

  19. I want a dead enemies body to lie straight, on its back. This is to indicate the body had been searched and there will be no intel on the body. After some time playing around I came up with the following code: _enemy switchMove "AidlPpneMstpSnonWnonDnon_SleepA_death"; This does have its quirks, the body stands up and then lies down and stays down. Not a bad trick for a dead unit. I did try: _enemy playMove "AinjPpneMstpSnonWrflDnon_rolltofront"; _enemy playMove "AinjPpneMstpSnonWrflDnon"; This starts off looking really promising but at the end the enemy units flips himself back onto his front, though he does then act dead. It also technically does not work on dead enemy units. Anyone got a better way of doing this. S Edit: (Just for information) Think I have a solution. I must have been so close originally: _enemy switchMove "AinjPpneMstpSnonWrflDnon"; I'm not sure why playMove does not work. - And as I say that I'm thinking the maybe the dead animation ragdoll keeps running and playMove is waitingfor it to finish before running - .   20. The Second NATO Colationary Force is a full English speaking Arma 3 Miltary simulation group, designed to have a realistic experience mixed with fun. The unit is based on a semi-fake story, nothing that is said is true and does not reflect the real life, the stories are based on what is happening but are dynamic and what the players do matters, creating a timeline of sorts. There is a flow chart on the forums showing you the current progression of a particular operation or the entire campaign. The unit is designed to be a low-medium amount of members to keep professionalism manageable and create a more tight community. The unit is primarily ground forces, but with the options of mechanized and air forces.   22. Does anybody know how to achieve the motion blur used in the editor and in first person and apply it to the Third Person camera? Somewhat like the Standalone DayZ Third Person. I've searched everywhere for a way to do this and I wanna know if anyone can come up with a way to override the Rotation Blur in Arma 3.
  23. Hello, recently, I updated my windows 7, as it had been out of date for some time, and I noticed that after the update my Arma 3 launcher refuses to work. Note, I have noticed a few strange error messages on other programs, like, D3DComplier_47.dll is missing and so on, since I updated my windows so maybe that has something to do with this. This is the error message I get when I attempt to launch the launcher: https://imgur.com/a/JzSlP Note, I can launch Arma 3 through the .exe but not through steam or the launcher.exe. Here is what I have tried so far to resolve the issue: 1) I have searched other BI forum posts and FeedbackTracker tickets to see if anyone has resolved the issue. So far, none of them have worked, and it appears that the issue I am having seems to always have a unique fix. 2) I have downloaded the D3DComplier_47.dll file and I have placed it in the main Arma 3 folder and System32 folder. 3) I have downloaded a couple of registry error fix programs. 4) I have verified my game cache and reinstalled Arma 3. 5) I have deleted various files inside the \Launcher folder in the main Arma 3 directory and verified the cache to reinstall the files; no luck. 6) I have attempted to install various versions of Microsoft Net Framework, however, everytime I try to install them them, they fail or cannot be updated. 7) I have checked and updated my graphics drivers. 8) I have checked and updated my CPU drivers. 9) I have checked my computer for an update file known as KB307... something along those lines, and I don't have it on my computer. 10) I have tried using Windows Checker System via the CMD window as suggested by BIS_Wizard on another forum post, so far, no luck. Here is the official error .txt file that is placed on my desktop everytime the launcher crashes Any help, suggestions, or input, is greatly appreciated. I'd defininetly like to get back to playing Arma 3. Thanks!
  24. Hi, I have bought a new PC and in Arma 3 I usually get 40-50fps and decreases to 30fps. My PC settings are: GPU: MSI GTX 1080TI 11GB Mother Board: MSI x299 Pro Carbon CPU: i7 7800x (8 cores) HEAT SINK: Noctua NH-D15S RAM: 32GB HARD DRIVE: Samsung 960 PRO NVMe M.2 SSD PCI-e 512GB Is it normal to have these FPS in Arma with this PC settings? I read Arma 3 used more CPU than GPU. I have also read that for games its better a cpu with 4 cores and more latency (like 7700K) than my 7800x. How can I get more fps or more stability in the game? Is anything wrong? (CPU ~40-50ºC in game) HELP PLEASE! Thanks!

Hi guys and gals, I've not usually had any problems with my Arma but in the last few days I've suffered this issue: https://gyazo.com/66b23c154d3072e4ea27dd727ebfa7fd 'The memory could not be written' I've verified my game cache, uninstalled and reinstalled, swapped RAM slots, and deleted the 'Arma 3' and 'Arma 3 - Other Profiles' folders but to no avail. After the reinstall, it launched once, but then it continuously suffered the error. Here's the report from the launcher: https://ufile.io/d769q Specs: i7 4790k (Not OCd) Radeon RX 460 4GB 1TB HDD (I run arma from this but I believe some files (Like the AppData) are on my SSD?) 128GB SSD 16GB DDR3 RAM (Still living in the past) Thanks in advance for any help, let me know if you need more info!
