So, i'm making a mission in which i used the Unit Capture and Unit Play functions so a pair of helicopters could land on a clearing in a dense forest, but i want it so that when they get off the chopper they head to an officer and the briefing starts, but i'm trying to setup a trigger that detects alive players but if i set it up to detect all 10 slots, then if mission is not full it wont start, so i want to know if you guys could help me, i remember it was something like: if !alive UnitName or _____ Any ideas?   7. Hi, I am actually working on a personnal script to run in singleplayer to simulate a respawn when I should die. What I do is that when I take a sufficient amount of damage, I disable damage, teleport myself to spawn, clean my damage amount and renable damage. It works fine, but the mission also use the ACE and it's basic medical system. I want to keep it that way but if I don't erase all the HandleDamage handlers before putting mine, my script still run but I die anyway when I "respawn" because of ACE. Is there any way I can tell ACE that I do not want to die when taking a certain amount of damage? I tried calling the ace_medical_fnc_treatmentAdvanced_fullHeal function in my script after setting allowDamage to false but it doesn't work.   8. Hi. I have a number of missions on the Steam Workshop which I created some time ago that are no longer appearing in my, and other people’s, single player scenarios list. I believe it’s because, when they were put onto the workshop, they were not tagged as singleplayer scenarios (this was before an update which made it mandatory, I think). I experienced a catastrophic hard drive failure and lost all of my mission data – I’ve been able to un-pbo most of my missions back into their constituent parts, but as I cannot play the affected missions, I’m unable to get a save game which I can unpack. Is there any way for me to apply the single player tag to the missions as I am unable to open them from within the game. (Steam WS) You're taking role of SBS squadleader and your objective is to infiltrate enemy compound, locate any enemy intel and get out before reinforcements arrive. Weather is randomized with every mission start so if it isn't what you expected just reload the mission from beginning. Every feedback no matter if its about scripting, syncing, translation, difficulty etc. is really welcome! (NEEDED!!!) I need it for future missions and so I can edit this one to your liking. Style: Infiltration. Intro Music / radio chatter Multiple Objectives Description: An afghan contact of ours in gave us some information about a Taliban meeting . It is in a small village deep in enemy territory and several ranking Taliban officers will be there. The village is about 15 klicks behind enemy lines. Afghan forces are still fighting with the Taliban on the border, so expect a lot of bodies and burned out vehicles in the village. We do not have any intelligence on when the meeting is happening so you will be leaving ASAP. A transport is ready and waiting for you. It will take you to 8 klicks out from the target. From there you will be on foot. Your primary objective is to sweep the village and collect intel about enemy forces, weaponry, etc. In a few days our US and Afghan allies will begin an assault to retake Kunduz City from the Taliban. Any information you collect will help in this effort. How you proceed is up to you but staying quiet is recommended. Remember, this is in bandit country, if you make yourself known, the Taliban will swarm you in no time Good luck.

    SP Mission: Partisan Action

    I posted this mission already on Armaholic forum, but, as its usually the case, it got owerlooked, so I will post it alsow here. PARTISAN ACTION Description: Play as partisan female sharpshooter Sofia Synetós and provide fire support while an attack on a enemy village. This is just small simple mission, where I tested how things work in ArmA 3 compared to ArmA 2. It was originaly designed to be part of a campaign, that tooks place before The East Wind story, but, then I found out, that there are at least 3 campaigns with this theme already, so I canceled the project. Hope some people can have fun with it, the way it is. Features: -You play as female partisan sharpshooter. -Fully voice acted. Most of it is dubbed by me, the rest is just text-to-speech program, as it would not be good only with my voice. -All partisans have changed equipement including clothing to the way I imagine querillas should look like. -Small intro cutscene. -Custom notification icons. -You can select from some weapons before mission. Version: 1.0 Known issues: -An error pops up in the mission briefing. It started to occure since I removed sound mod and even though I tryed to resolve this problem with several ways, I just can’t get rid of it. -Music does not want to play when shooting starts (a bug related to the problem above??). Oather, than that the mission works fine. Instalation: Extract the .7z file into your ArmA 3 Missions folder.   12. Doctor Who: Weeping Angel Game Mode Description: Doctor Who: Weeping Angel Game Mode is a Singleplayer, Coop and Multiplayer mode where you will face the weeping angels. The angels are a dangerous species. They can only move and attack you when you are NOT looking at them. Use your flashlight to see them. Don´t think you can hide or outsmart them. They are extremely intelligent. Keep your back and front cleared. In singleplayer this can be very hard.. YOU NEED TO USE THE FLASHLIGHT. The angels can still move and attack if you don´t use your flashlight! How it works: The are a couple of game areas that will be randomly choosen when the game starts. The area is marked with big airport lampost with red light. If you go outside of them you will die. In multiplayer, If an angel get´s you will have to spectate it till someone get to the tardis or all players have been taken. After a certain time the tardis will arrives and the player that enter it first will "win". Features: -Singleplayer = Yes -Multiplayer = Yes, with parameters to customize your gameplay -Dedicated = No idea, If someone tries it please give feedback. -You play as survivors who need to hold out in an area til the tardis arrives -WEEPING ANGELS!   13. If you have Arma 3 Apex and are either incapable or can't bother to be making some missions and content I made one myself. It's an open sandbox with every Apex vehicle, gun, and gear piece available. It features a firing range, respawn and revive system, vehicle respawns, toggle-able missions, and a fully stocked virtual arsenal.   14. Description: "Free a kidnapped ANN reporter from the hands of the Syndikat." This is a 1-day mission, which I made... today. Really wanted to finish something new again, and with the recent Apex stuff I got inspired enough to get this mission done. It's a simple search & rescue mission on Tanoa. Naturally, dev-branch or latest Apex rc-branch is required for playing. Turns out, it's actually quite stressful to make a mission in only one day, but it sets a few interesting limitations which one has to workaround somehow (hope this mission doesn't feel too cheesy). The original idea of this mission was much bigger and with a few more side tasks, but yeah... not enough time if you have to get it done as quickly as possible. :) Anyway, have fun & stuff. I've looked around the forum and the functions viewer, but I can't figure out if it's even possible to use End Game's "download intel" mechanic of approaching a laptop (for example), holding space and starting the download, with that GUI and all, in a non-End Game, SP scenario.     [SP] RTS Skirmish

    Hello, I would like to present my attempt to make RTS style mission in Arma. Gameplay Your mission is to capture all flags. Player with least captured flags will start loosing his mission points. Player with 0 mission points will loose battle. You also loose mission points for loosing soldiers and vehicles. Reinforcements Every player starts with same amount of reinforcements points (RP), which are used to call your units to battle. RPs are incerased over time. You receive more RPs towards end of battle to allow calling in more expensive units. Controls Use WSAD to move camera. MMB or CTRL+LMB to rotate camera. LMB to select units and RMB to give movement orders. Thx to a modified Civilian Occupation System (COS) by BangaBob. -Vehicles spawn on cities. -Features full logistic system (you can load ammoboxes and objects on vehicles) -Features a build system that let you build a base. -this build system is divided in 3 stages, you need to find 3 workbenches and bring them to your base, one better than the last for build extra objects & vehicles. -Features a resource system that makes you need to find resources to build your base and vehicles, you get resources for completing tasks too. -All important places marked for you to know where to find gear & resources (there can be or maybe not). -Events on some places where gear & resources are like zombie hordes. -Deletion of bodies for improve FPS. ALL IMPORTANT INFO ON INGAME DIARY, CHECK IT BEFORE START. Storyline: After serving lots of years, having survived many crucial moments and being shocked because of cruel views in bloody Chechnya, Spetsnaz team, which always been a part of elite military platoon, has signed a contact for participation in hostile-controlled island of Nogova. Surely, Spetsnaz have never expected truly simple operations for highly-paid actions and they probably knew what this all will be about! They must start taking part in liberation of Nogova from local murderers, which are mainly supported by NATO forces, holocaust. Rapid genocide of local nations must be stopped and there's only way to do this - act as fast as imposible and seek for appropiate revenge against joint enemy forces. Althrough, Russias haven't invaded Nogova, but they will in near future - until that, Spetsnaz must operate on their own and survive in horrible conditions.
