  1. Hey folks! This is my first Post here. Please let me know if I'm doing anything wrong. I'm currently in the process of setting up a basic server for me and my friends. We just want to play some standard Arma missions while using TFAR (Task Force Arrowhead Radio) which, like a lot of other mods out there, requires CBA_A3. So far so easy. First let me tell you what I've done to set up my server: Installed the server via steamcmd (standard procedure) Downloaded tfar (v0.9.12) and CBA_A3 (v3.15.6.211004) (tried my local workshop files as well as github release downloads from the devs themselves) Copied the two mod folders to the root of my arma server Copied the keys from inside the mod folders to the keys folder in the server root Started the server with the following options: -world="empty" -mod=@CBA_A3;@task_force_radio; -autoinit Now let me tell you what happens after I launch the server. Everything seems to work as expected. The server starts up without throwing any error in the console. After a minute or two I can reach the server via direct connect. But that's where it starts to get weird. When you click on a server in Armas serverlist, you see a list of mods which are running on the server in the bottom right corner. And well... It doesn't show either CBA nor TFAR. It just lists the standard Arma 3 DLC's. When we connect to the server while being connected to TeamSpeak (and obviously having installed the plugin in TS) we hear the init sound that TFAR makes once you spawn on the map. We can open the Radio via Ctrl+P and we can use PTT via Caps. But we can't hear each other. Neither by standing next to each other nor by using the radio (we checked the frequency, it was the same). Now I'm really really confused. I can't find any additional steps that you have to do in order to use mods on an Arma server ... ANY help is highly appreciated! I'm close to thinking about giving up and going back to LAN games via Hamachi with max 5 people because I'm trying to figure this out for three days already.   2. Good morning, I would like to know if it is possible to put a video in a workshop mod and then show it on a server to all players. Currently I know how to create a mod in the workshop to put custom music but I would like to know if it is possible and how to put a video in the mod to subsequently put a command on a server to be played to all players. I have tried to search but I have not found a way, if anyone knows how to do it I would be very grateful.

  4. Hey, I'm new to this so please bear with me. I am looking for front view images of 2035 UN Peacekeepers (Canadian Army, woodland camouflage pattern with blue UN helmet covers and blue vests).   7. Hey there, so, I was trying to install a few serverside mods on my server. For that, I have to enter the mod key in the startup parameters, in this format: @mod1; @mod2; ... But, I don´t know, what keys to enter. Some keys are the Mod names, some the folder names, some are on the website of the mod. But how do I get the keys for mods where the key is displayed nowhere? So recently I downloaded this mod, https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=1535201261, and ever since I've been encountering this error when saving the game:[]:'bin\config.bin/CfgPatches/Unlocked_Uniform\'not an array So I said to myself I'll just get rid of this mod, but when I do it says that the addon Unlocked Uniform is missing, which is weird as I never used the Bulgarian army mod on my main, but it still says I require a weird addon. I reinstall the mod and everything works fine for a day then I play the game this morning to realize that upon playing an editor mission the aforementioned error pops up, reloads the game and changes some small things like it removes a couple of placed civilians and randomizes faces for characters. I don't really have a lot of experience with Arma 3, especially not the coding part, so could anybody tell me what is causing this please? It's made the game unplayable for me.

    How to delete mods?

    Hello, I am a beginner on Arma 3. When I am on the launcher, the game automatically downloads mods, and there is a lot of them. Because I want to learn this mil-sim, I would like to start playing without any mods that I don't know. If there are mods that I really need, I will load them. The question is in the title. How to delete all the mods in order to start from scratch?

  12. Hello everyone! This is my first post haha! I would like to know if it is possible to remove .pbo that I don't use in mods. For exemple, I'm not using the vehicles in RHS. I just want to keep the weapons for the mod Tier One weapons that's using them. Unfortunately, the mod didn't work anymore. Maybe I remove too much XD?   13. So, in essence, when I run a Zeus op with my friends, I have the option of aborting, or saving the game and loading it at a later date. Any time that I load a previously saved game, everything is where we last left off, which is normal, but as soon as I enter Zeus, a lot of my System functions disappear, we lose a vast majority of our MCC and Ace items, and Zeus becomes effectively useless. The only way I can get around this is to remember what we did and recreate it in the 3D Editor before we return for the next game, which is tedious and annoying. I'm not really sure how to get around this and I don't want to make all of my players update their modlists, so if someone can help me work around this without removing or adding mods, I'd be grateful

  15. Hey, I recently watched the Seal Team series. At the end of Season 2, Episode 21, they were evacuated by helicopter. But not normal. they were hanging on a rope.   16. Hello! Usually I'm not finding help on forums, but this time I just don't know what to do. I'm playing Arma on mods like Immersed weather snow effects , and another with snow , but i have problem because always when I'm saving , leaving game and try to play again on the save ,the menu of mod doesn't show , so i can't change weather options and turn on snow. I really need help because I'm playing with friends on zeus and the snow effects really add a lot of fun to the game . Sorry for bad english but I'm from Poland 😁
  17. Hi, I was busy making a mission the past few days and I used the Ares zeus tools mod, but this morning I did not see it on the launcher or the steam webpage. Is it possible that this mod was removed from steam and if so, is there a way I can recover my mission? Thank you
  18. I'm using a TCAdmin panel to manage my server. I've installed my mod list, and have loaded up a modded mission. Took me long enough to get all that right. But now I have a slight issue. The "required mods" page lists no required mods. I can keep our mod list loaded and join it manually, but I'd like to make it so that it ells you what you are missing and forces you to sync up mods to join.
  19. I have a pretty basic mod list I installed on a TCAdmin panel. It downloaded and installed the mods just fine. Then I installed my custom scenario and went into the server. When I loaded, it showed me the slot selection screen, with no slots loaded in. It also repeatedly crashes, giving me the reason that an item no longer exists. I've gone through to delete 3 separate items over this, and keep coming back to the same error about a new item. I looked at a couple things, my command line has some of the mods in it twice, as well as CBA at the very end, as opposed to the beginning.   20. So, I love that BI included the P90 in Arma 3 bases game, but I was wondering if there would be any mod teams that could bring the AR-7 to the game? It's a perfect weapon for pilots and crewman as it takes up VERY little space in a backpack (and being 22LR the mags are tiny and light). Obviously 22LR isn't very useful against CSAT armor and even most armor, so potentially increasing the caliber up to 9mm for effective sake.
  21. TL;DR - I installed the Antistasi Mod and need help editing in some weapons. I have recently subbed to this mod on steam and I want to play online with a few friends. At the beginning of the game you get access to the Virtual Arsenal to gear up your team. I want to add some weapons and gear to the arsenal but I am unsure how to do it without breaking the mod. Basically, I am starting from scratch I have watched Gunter's tutorial on editing mods through the eden editor. But I was unable to get the MP version of my mod to work I pasted the unpacked folder into the missions folder that eden editor accesses, I could find the SP version of the mod ( I added that separately alongside the multiplayer mod folder) but I am unable to find the MP one so I have given up on that option. I have used PBO manager to unpack the mod folder and I have access to the scripts and files for the scenario. Could I edit the arsenal directly from here or do I have to use the editor honestly any advice could be helpful at this point lol.

  23. i've got many mods and i have not launched the game in a while but now this comes up, haven't seen it before until i recently started trying to play this is the error message then crashes the game. "File maf_script\config.cpp, line 36:/CfgVehicles/:Missing '}' " i tried changing some things looking into where it might be but doesn't work. what is the thing to do?
  24. 5th Special Forces Group Semi Realism Unit 5th Special Forces Group AKA 5th SFG is a Milsim unit for Arma 3. Our unit is modeled after the real life counter part with certain adapted for gameplay. Ranking structure at 5th SFG is set up on a battalion level with attachments from 160th SOAR(A) and 75th FS. 5th SFG is composed of a group of like minded individuals with some that have served in the US Army and USAF. We try our best to emulate special forces operations with combined arms elements. Here at 5th SFG, we maintain a fun but professional attitude when it comes to unit events be it trainings or OPs. We are laidback and semi-realistic in terms of Arma 3 units. At 5th SFG, we practice radio etiquettes, squad tactics, room clearing, and many more. Our OPs are based on HVT eliminations/rescues, checkpoints, reconnaissance, asymmetric warfare, airborne and air assault operations, and many more.   25. I am setting up a dedicated server and I have started adding mods. I had a problem that the server wasn't recognizing the RHS black hawk I had in the mission file which I solved by creating a copy of the arma 3 client's mod in the server root folder. I'm glad I solved the problem, but this also creates another. I have limited space on the server storage but I would like the mods to be kept up to date automatically. That's the reason I spent $8 on another copy of arma. (also because steamCMD timed out downloading larger mods) Is there a way I can use shortcuts to the mod folders in the root directory and have the server recognize it? Or is there another way to deal with the problem?
