  1. Sp persistent gameplay save

    Random one for you eden editor experts. I'm trying to setup a persistent zombie/survival game, on a single player scenario, with weeks of playtime. Basically a map with caches, bandits, zombies etc. I want to do one big build and setup on eden, but I want to be able to load the scenario back into eden after I've actually played it, I want it loaded in with all the changes that will have happened to my character and the map as I've played it. Basically, does arma have the ability to load a saved, being played scenario into eden? And then play on from that version.. .. Any help appreciated, two days looking foe answers on this.. Stu
  2. Problem with tanks

    Hello i found long ago one great addon for arma 2 so i decide to import it to arma 3 and it work. But problem is when i drive a tank and when try to use break or just stop holding move key vehicle raises the rear and can overturn on other side. How to fix this problem ? By the way other staff like trucks and light mechanized armor dont have this problem. If somebody know how to fix this pleas help

    I'm having difficulty with using the downloadable Community Kit. Where do I place the zip files / how do I import? And as a followup question to the above, is there a common place where people can upload/download player-made scenarios for the Eden Editor? Any assistance would be appreciated.
  4. I have been having issues trying to export my xcam project to terrain builder. I place all my objects in the 3DEN editor, then play the preview mission, launch xcam, import all mission objects into a blank project, save the project, and then export the text file. The problem I am having is the classnames of the mission objects being empty in the exported object file. The coords are there, it is in the proper format and layout for TerrainBuilder to understand, but the quotes are empty. I don't have this issue when I place an object within xcam and then export it that way. It is just the mission placed objects that won't save classnames for. I have tried reinstalling xcam, loading all the object libraries (for vanilla A3, which is what my terrain is using), exported a script file (which does work btw) and then loaded that script into a new mission before adding the mission objects to the xcam project, I have made sure all of my placed objects aren't simple objects, have simulation enabled, etc, but none of these things have any different results Here is what my .txt file looks like: Any help would be much appreciated

  6. Hi guys, how are you?? I have a old mission with the 2d editor, how import to 3d editor eden ?? What I did is to open the editor , then import the mission , but it does not work , the mission save empty, any fix ?? =(
  7. Hi folks. I'm working on my mod (fictional, somewhat sci-fi soldiers/faction) with will include a brand new uniform model created from the sample material as well containing some elements made from scratch. I want to make the new model fully compatible with vests and stuff from vanilla as well from other mods. Since something like 90% of the model is very much the same as the sample, I was able to use the "skin wrap" modifier in 3ds with lets you copy skin/rigging data from selected source mesh. This saved me LOADS of time, with I would need to spend on rigging the whole model. However, how can I import the already rigged model into o2? I got the model ready to export from 3ds Max 2014. Textures are done, I still need to do normal maps, but since I got all the source material it will be pretty quick. When I finish my mod I'm planning on releasing all the source material files so others can freely use my work. Please help. http://imgur.com/a/Nouh4
  8. Hey Guys, i have a question about Terrain Builder. So when i import my satellite image which looks like a normal satellite images it just get like a 50% transparent blue all over the map like this. Is that a known error or is there any way you guys can help me? I would really appreciate any help! Sorry for my bad english btw. - Wibias
  9. SOLVED: I didn't think to load the template libraries from the old project before attempting to import the objects via exported .txt file. I got sloppy and disorganized across a bunch of folders and decided to start a fresh, consolidated project in terrain builder for my island and I successfully imported the old terrain, satmap, mask and all that. Everything is there, including the roads. However, I cannot for the life of me figure out how to export and import all the objects. I've tried exporting them but they just go into a "file" file and do not show up as a choice when I go to import them. Anyone know the trick for this one? The terrain is identical, I just need the objects copied over in their correct locations. Thanks for any help on this one!
