  1. Hello, I'm working on a few spin off mission from the East Wind Campaign and in order to recreate the first mission I created a similar ORBAT view. My only problem is that I cannot load the TF Aegis Helmet into the ORBAT Viewer. The file I am using is the original .paa file extracted from the img folder of the main campaign, and in the Text2View Editor it can be viewed properly. In the following Code example you can see that under "texture" i've added the .paa file which is in the same folder as the mission.sqm file.   3. Hello! I'm trying to add ORBAT marker into my mission. It's alright on map, but after clicking on marker I get this (screenshot). As you can see, the icons here are extremely small and I can't zoom it. I would appreciate if you can help me.
  4. Is it possible to configure vehicle components in the orbat creator? i.e. camo netting, cages etc. unlike in the mission editor, the vehicle editor in orbat does not have a vehicle component section.

    ORBAT Textures

    So I have the whole process down as far as the basics of putting the CfgORBAT together in the description.ext and how to use the ORBAT Viewer module... But how do you remove the white border around a circular texture. It's not an issue in the viewer itself because the white background cancels it out. But on the map it's very annoying! I don't know how to insert a picture in the forum so I apologize!   6. Hi everyone. I have been working with the CfgORBAT in one of my missions, and everything is fine, all it works except the insignia image which it should show up in the background of the ORBAT. I have tried using a .paa image (512x512, 256x128 and128x128) and .jpg images, but any of those works.   7. Hi Everyone, Been playing around with the CfgORBAT, modules and structures for the past few weeks as I love the concept. I've introduced it to a multiplayer server as a way of keeping tabs on the whereabouts of other squads and knowing where they fall in the mission's hierarchy. I know linking the module to a playable unit allows the ORBAT marker to follow them, however, in a multiplayer environment the module initialises before the players join and just sit there being static. I've tried tieing the modules to a trigger, that initialises when the player characters are "alive", or on a radio option so they're defiantly in the server when the module initialises, but no dice. The current only functional workaround I have is having AI with their "MOVE" disabled spawning in place when the mission begins, and when players join, they take the AI slots. That gives the module something to adhere to at least. If anyone has any suggestions or knows how to have the modules bind to players when they join, it'd be appreciated. Cheers, Val.

I keep getting the same error when i try to run the game with the exported faction in the add on section, its extremely frustrating as these factions take nearly 3 days to create, iv had to delete them then remake them multiple times. Could someone please help me as i want to make a RMC faction, RAF, RAF regiment RN and so on. Asked this question on the ALIVE forum months ago and no one has replied , posted it on reddit and no one replied either, I even uninstalled and reinstalled ARMA twice hopefully someone here could help me out or redo it for me.   10. Hey guys, I've created a faction here, https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2023072593, but the BDRM and most vehicles have no gunner. I've check the config files and it has the Main turret crewed, but it does not have a gunner turret. IDK if that's how its suppose to look or.. if you check the faction, all the vehicles that are suppose to have gunner seats do not. Please help, Thanks.
  11. I been making my own units to save the hassle of copy and pasting each gear INT for each soldier, and with 8 units to do it gets troublesome. I created new units successfully using the ALIVE Orbat but the faces and voices keep changing for each unit every time I place them in the editor. I saw that Miller from story has a set face and voice and was wondering how to copy this to my custom units I created. Apologies if this has been already answered, I just linked my steam and this is the first time I am using Bohemia Forums.

    Orbat Problems

    I have tried to use custom images as texture and insignias in custom orbat but it doesn't work. Yet a year ago it worked fine. i put it in like this texture="texture"; but it says cannot load due to path or something of that nature yet it is in my folder/mission file. Devs help
  14. Can Anyone help with trying to add custom background and unit icons to ORBAT. I have tried everything even stuff that has been put on the internet the limited amount. It worked last time when i it was like subfolder\pic that was in the mission file and worked fine but now when i come back that doesn't work and says that it cannot find to picture. And the if someone says to go to that stupid KK scripting page i am going to lose it. That is unorganized and tons of stuff just mashed together and super confusing. All i need is saying so this line of code goes in the description.ext or init.sqf. Please respond ASAP!
  15. Hi i got little problem about my ORBAT setting up and I would like to hear how to add assets to the ORBAT group that will be faded out. In other words I want to have ORBAT group show that it has some assets before but now it has like 50% of them just like it was in Tanks DLC campaign Altis Requiem. Do someone know how to do this? P.S. I am not sure if this belong here on in modding section of this forum

  17. Hey, I really need help with using ORBAT. I downloaded the mod through steam and the other files that people say you have to download don't work. My computer doesn't recognize the files. If someone could help out that'd be greatly appreciated and I a complete noob at this and the game so be gentle.
