Is it just me or does the Eden interface get really small when you set your interface size to Small?

 

Compared to the main branch, it looks ridiculously small, but if you set the interface size to Normal it looks good again.

I've got too much questions about ViV :

 

Will it be possible to parachute vehicles carried by another?

Will this feature be extended in order to load ammo boxes in vehicles?

if Yes :

  • Will this feature be extended to older vehicles (e.g. Huron)?
  • Will this feature be extended to other classes of vehicles (e.g. Zamak or HEMTT)?

Will vehicles be physically present in carrier (sort of attachTo) or just virtually (like players in armoured vehicles)?

If first case (attachTo) :

  • Will this feature allow attaching Taru pods under the Taru?

 

 

--EDIT :

It bring so much opportunities, that's actually a game changing feature.

No it's not just you. The Eden interface scaling seems to be out of step with the interface scaling for the rest of the game.

Wow the radar feature is great, but i think it should be turnable to on/off. No need for wingman icons in UI now, i will know where they are. Great solution. Are you planning anyt scalling option to this radar?

Anyone else have messed up trackIR with the latest DEV build?

When I turn my view away from center and zoom in, the camera is forced towards center.

If I hold left alt key(freelook) and zoom in, it works as intended.

Yes, I have the same problem. It's fine in vehicles, but even got worse as infantry on one of the last updates. Can't look over shoulders anymore and when zooming in it's extremely limited. Made a short video of it

Squad radar is good, but it really needs to be disabled if you aren't in a squad. Basically keep the HUD as empty / tiny as possible, as often as possible.

I sort of like this, but it should go for people using the free look keys also. This is nice with optics with track ir. Would go well with aiming dead zone IMO but aiming deadzone is broken :(

I am loving the flashlight brightness on Dev Build 1.63.136741. 

 

A few guys on our server got stranded with no NVGs/illumination as night fell in the jungle. I slipped them some sneaky flashlights on a convenient dead body, and then spent the next 30 minutes scaring the **** out of them :)

 

speaking of lights, all lights still need fixing. for instance flares emit no brightness, just point of light

Don't think they changed it, it was improved a few months ago though. If we only had the option to adjust the size of the light cone.

This MP bug is back for a third time. It's the same bug but without the loading screen. Happens on hosted co-op. The server gets hang-ups every few seconds which translates to massive lag for clients.

Bit of feedback on the squad radar.

  • Too distracting:

it's default position is too high
 

Too big

 
Bright white color which stands out too much against environemnt

 

Different distance zones (indicated by separated circle) don't convey

distance - since they have no color.
 

 

  • When someone dies dot disappear - can we have that it stays until

unit is seen or reported dead (otherwise is very gamey knowing

in heat of battle when somebody dies?

Same kind of issue for me, everytime I launch the game, sky setting is reset to "ULTRA".

It's a compass. You don't want to know where you're going?

Vehicles already have a compass, and a far more accurate one at that! In vehicles the squad radar is useless and if they have cockpits, the default position also interferes with beeing able to read the cockpit.

Probably a foolish question, but how the hell do I get tactical ping? I've pushed Shift-T til my finger is sore and seen nothing to indicate it.
