We have a splendid stance system, why not use it?

They can't afford to render grass at that distance, so to prevent a player laying in grass from being too noticeable, they raise the visual height of the ground. Don´t u think it wouldnt be better if you were able to adjust such things by yourself? I mean u dont need to give a fck which setting of detail your enemy is using, if you want to prevent to see a player proned in the grass you would be able to adjust it. And when someone likes to lying in high grass but accept the visuality and performance loss, why not, everyone personal liking

Dev's, it's planned to fixed the problem with the view of the soldier when we mount in aircraft ?

At this status, when i'm in the first view, i click get in the aircraft (all the aircrafts), my soldier show only the front of aircraft and not his movement...

It's as i kiss my girlfriend without look her... why not

Glad to see some more insturmentation in the Neophron, makes far more sense to fly now that we have an attitude indicator and a few other things...brownie points for gun ammo counter, though there seems to be some clipping in the middle MPD with the HSI.

Also any chance the eyes can be moved closer or the head not move so far back? The distance to which the pilot leans back makes the text very difficult to decipher at a quick glance. (6dof would fix this and allow people to be as close or far as they want, nudge nudge wink wink)

Also this may be ooold news but has anyone gone on an easter egg hunt to find all of the barrels with faces around the stadium and maybe elsewhere?

Also it could be just me but dynamic lights seem to eat FAAAR less performance..running around on altis the difference between low and ultra is less than 5 frames versus the 10+ before.

And so it should be. You are crawling in grass, don´t expect to see much. But you have good chances of staying undetected if you move slowly wich can give you a serious tactical advantage.

While flying around with new jets , noticed that the Canopy glass is way too transparent almost like theres no glass at all

If you look at the sea through the canopy glass , then the glass disappears

Buzzard doesnt have this issue , i think its a rvmat issue

Definitely!

There already are several feature requests regarding settings for adjusting grass detail level and drawing distance separately like e.g. http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=1291.

This does not solve the problem with concealment of distant enemies, but for that some approaches have already been suggested, too.

Now it's up to BIS :rolleyes: Come on devs, make us happy!

I agree. I've always thought the Neo pilot is too reclined in his seat.

Because PvP. Other could get an unfair advantage by disabling their grass etc.

Of course, but i talking about only Singleplayer. And settings in MP could be adjusted by the server or not?

Nope, graphic options are graphic options (i.e. local), server adjusts only difficulty options.

Well you see, I imgine that this is something that can´t simply be switched on or off. It might be too deep at the engine level to do that.

Noticed yesterday that the To-199 can climb straight up 90 degrees and keep itself over 300 km/h forever (unless you run out of gas ofc.) :/

The new commander gun on the slammer looks much much better, thank you for that. Also it´s nice to see the flight horizon in the To-199. Very well made.

;) Yep, i noticed too. Don't you understand that the TO-199 in the future will have nano vortex generators, that prevents the flow separation in large AoA. :yay:

...and thrust ratio of ~1.1-1.2 without afterburner. F-22 nervously smokes in a corner.

Then there'd be whining on the forums regarding low FPS on servers because of that☺ But I agree, something certainly needs to be done.

No idea if this has to today's changes but: Window glass now requires many bullets to break (sometimes several 20 round 7.62 mm magazines) but when you shoot the blue window frame they break after one or two bullets. Tested on "i_house_big_01_v1_f", the two story residential building with the front porch.

Did you guys introduce a recoil animation on the torso? When I shoot fully automatic while lying on the ground it looks like my torso is an accordeon :confused:
