It will take some time lol but I will post a video of it on youtube, same as I did when A2 came out.

Don't forget to turn fatigue off otherwise will only see a blurry mess after the first 200m :rolleyes:

Really? :( But Altis is so huge, how are we going to scan everything without jets?

Just load AiA and you will have lots of jets!

Has AiA figured out a way to get the DLC's to work yet? or just the lite versions? And are we sure we get Altis today/tomorrow? I only saw people here talking about it. Nowhere else.

Not going to happen, BIS never even enabled them in Take On themselves. Think they would be mighty pissed off if someone else did it in A3.

Due to a technical problem we have delayed the release of Altis, is what I'm expecting lol

Right off to the cinema with kids, let me know when it arrives.

Think not :p The version used on gamescom was the version we would be getting so they just have to upload it and create a changelog :)

Guys, we're now at 4+ pages of anticipatory off-topic spam/chatter in this thread.

I know we're all excited about Altis, but let's please keep the thread clean until it actually hits the dev build.

NOTE: Several unnecessary posts deleted.

INFO EDIT: Altis update should be ~2.5GB in size, it's being uploaded now so expect it soon.

Just an afterthought on the update, as we are getting Altis so we can create new missions for the full release are we going to have access to the full editor objects library ?

The Altis Challenge:

Place a unit with a map and a compass in the middle of Altis.

Choose a very big placement radius so that you can end up everywhere on the island (You may want to place a vecicle).

Make sure that your own position is not marked on the map (difficulty on veteran).

Hit preview and try to find the main town.

I hate to keep having to be "that guy", but this thread is derailing again.

If you have suggestions on how to improve the player controls, this is not the place to post or discuss them.

About that new color scheme, personally I feel that this orange would have better been in the alpha or beta stage of the game, it just doesn't fit in my opinion and looks now like it's a building construction game :/

I actually like the color and wonder if I am alone? The orange reminds of sand, and sand reminds me of sandbox.

I like it too, but i think it is because of Joris-Jan van 't Land, He is Dutch offcourse like me...

And if you say Dutch you say Orange!
