  4. Work on our community created Cold War British vehicles pack has gone into full swing, and as such haven't had the time to post here much. We're planning to release the pack with a Chieftain MBT, Scorpion, Scimitar, Wessex, Jaguar, LAW 80 and some misc accompanying assets, plus more planned for the future. Here's the current state of the Chieftain model, before texturing, as taste of things to come: We'll make a mod post announcing it more in depth once we've got something more substantial to show than some mid-textured/modelled objects. If you're keen in following just the mod that will be released publicly, you can join our Discord where we've been discussing and sharing updates. In other news, we've had some fantastic operations recently, including mid-weeks. Such as the one yesterday, Operation KRATOS, that saw some British Cold War infantry conduct an extensive combat patrol. Operation HIGHGARDEN last Saturday saw the platoon take 3 sections and a HMG attachment out to hit some key Russian positions in a mission made by our community member, Nazgul.
  5. Hello, would these be possible to turn off, to keep the current behaviour that's not an issue for us? Our group uses the lobby screen as a prep area before our weekly mission to get organised, and this will hamper that organisation greatly. Cheers!

Arma 3 - Creator DLC Discussion

Will there be considerations to change that approach in the future? As of the moment, that sadly makes it unviable for many communities, or at the very least splits them on events, which is a shame.
  7. We've been so busy recently, I haven't had a chance to keep this thread up to date. Where to start? Well, we've just released our first mod on to the workshop. A 2 inch mortar, which you can find here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1670017422 - We have many more mods in the works, ranging from WW2 till Modern, with various quality of life improvements we currently utilise or plan on doing so in the future. We are in need of an animator, any help would be awesome! We've had 15 operations since I last posted. The most notable being our joint operations with our friends over at 1QDG. The first being a CO-OP event, amount to a company operation incorporating an armoured troop, an infantry platoon, company command with a CSM, Chinook and 2x ground attack aircraft. We also had an adversarial TvT/Roleplay event. Both were incredibly successful, and we're planning for further adventures together in the future. If you're a community that's interested in playing with/against us, give us a shout! Here's some select pictures from our operations in the last 3 months. You can view more of them here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/board/198858
  8. A lot has happened since last time I posted. We've had some fantastic public server experiences, as well as six very successful operations! We've got a chock-a-block Christmas event schedule upcoming too. We have three operations the week between Christmas Day and New Years, as well as numerous small public server events planned. These are more casual than usual, and have some quirky mechanics to them to keep in the festive spirit. Here's some images from the past operations this last month, if you'd like to see more, you can view all images shared by our community here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/board/198858
  9. Operation SPECTRE concluded on the 10th of this month, seeing British resources safely escorted to a vital base in one of the many Scottish Isles. Fortunately this platoon was also on hand to offer QRF for a Soviet invasion. You can check out more images of this operation here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/198858/topic/spectre-pictures-and-videos-2r3 Operation NUTHATCH concluded on the 13th of November, one of our mid-week mini-operations. This saw us destroy a small local IRA weapons cache, as well as test out changes to our internal framework. More images can be found here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/198858/topic/nuthatch-pictures-and-videos-5kj On the 17th of November we saw action in the 90s. Things got quite desperate in this operation due to severe platoon ammunition attrition, resulting in some tense but really fun scenarios. More pictures can be found here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/198858/topic/proteus-pictures-and-videos-amu/last#last These are just snaps of our operations, in between them we enjoy many sessions on our public server - with those that aren't part of the group, too. Come check us out, if you'd like to give it a try!
  10. To begin with, Operation WRIGLEY our WW2 era operation was a resounding success, more images/videos can be found here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/198858/topic/wrigley-pictures-and-videos-421 https://clips.twitch.tv/SeductiveScaryFriseeArsonNoSexy After that, we had a Mid-Week Operation for Halloween. Operation UMBRELLA. We successfully contained the threat for another year, more images/videos can be found here: http://www.thewreckingcrew.eu/198858/topic/umbrella-pictures-and-videos-zeu Most recently we had Operation DEDWEN, a Modern Mechanised operation, that saw us establish a new touch off point in the campaign for control over the region. Weapon Resting & Deployment Feedback

Personally, I am not a fan of the new system. I prefer the current system over the proposed one. I believe graphically the current system produces far fewer visual oddities, and behaves more intuitively to new players and old alike.
