Game launches, but Battleye EULA window has no function
Pvt Barry posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Using Arch Linux (updated Garuda OS), Proton Experimental and Proton Battleye Runtime loaded. Game opens to launcher, but after selecting a multiplayer server from the server menu, the Battleye EULA window opens, but has no function (no scrolling, cannot accept or decline). Game then frozen. Seems some issue with windowing behavior. Using the standard Steam launch (not through Lutris or using Arma 3 Unix Launcher). -

BSOD when launching Arma 3 with BattlEye enabled
Del Caso posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
Hello, I need help, when I want to launch Arma 3 with BattlEye enabled, i get a BSOD with error code KERNEL SECURITY CHECK FAILURE, I was searching and I am not the only one with this or similar issue and apparently the thing causing is something called BEDaisy.sys. I wanted to ask if you know about this issue and if you have a fix or if you are working on fixing it. Thank you for any kind of response, bye. -
Howdy, folks. Running into an issue that, oddly enough, only started yesterday. Haven't run into it before, and it's a bit of a head-scratcher for me, especially since I haven't been able to find tons of documentation of people actually fixing the issue. Namely, my friends and I just recently started up an Antistasi server, and despite playing with no issues for the first two days, I ran into a problem just yesterday that has now become persistent- whenever I load into the server, I only get about three to five minutes before being kicked by BattlEye on account of "client not responding." I've tried the vast majority of fixes listed in this thread on Steam, to no avail- I guess it is a DayZ thread, but it's got the best documentation of the issue that I could find. More specifically, I've tried so far: Verifying game cache (three times) Re-installing (twice) Redownloading BEClient.dll (well, I would've tried that, but it doesn't appear to be available on BattlEye's site anymore) Rebooting, restarting router/modem (twice) Switching from wireless to wired connection Switching router from IPV6 to IPV4 (Xfinity actually won't let me change this, since apparently they prefer to handle it automatically for my "convenience," but I did change this in my adapter properties) All that to no avail. What else do y'all have up your sleeve that I can try? If you need any additional information, I am happy to provide.

Getting "battleye driver load error (1275)" when launching game (reforger/arma 3 + other game using battleye). Your game using this software, so i would like to make sure you know about it and working on solution/pushing on devs of Battleye to make a fix. They know about the issue, for 2 weeks, but still no fix. Only a run around to turn off part of my security software, which is shitty fix and im not doing that.

Couple years ago I started getting the BattlEye initialization failed error when joining a network server (I can join official servers, even tho they are also protected by battleye). Now, I tried multiple solutions, like reinstalling battleye, integrity of game files, reinstalling arma3, ... Basically everything of this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cZLZl3ZrZZ0&ab_channel=ComputerSluggishTutorials Now I started looking into the RPT files and found this: 15:26:24 BE connection with remote machine could not be established. Error=3 15:26:24 Warning Message: BattlEye initialization failed Any idea how to fix this? I'm using windows 10.

Hey, i just enabled BattlEye on our linux dedicated server for the first time and have some questions. BattlEye seems to run properly: It gets updated, is executing filters and scripts.txt, is writing logs and the remote console works. BUT: Clients with disabled BattlEye are still able to join that server. Why is that? Do i have to add some special filter-line for kicking them? Thanks for any hint.

My game hasn't worked with ACE enabled for a long time. It always loads a DLL error, more precisely the error "Extension ace_advanced_ballistics_x64.dll not found" every time I enter any mission. I make it to the lobby, but it's not possible to start the mission. I figured out a way to get around this: open the game with Battleye enabled, get to the lobby, disable Battleye and enter the quest, but that doesn't work the first time, I have to try it a few times. It also happens to not work and I have to close the game and open it again, repeating the steps. The problem is that I'm hostage to it and can't play on servers that require Battleye turned on. I've done everything: uninstalled the game and installed it again. I uninstalled ACE, CBA and installed them again. I have already copied the file "ace_advanced_ballistics_x64.dll not found" from other computers. Nothing resolved. I suspect it has something to do with Battleye, who accuses the file in question as malicious, but we know it isn't. I have doubts how to create an exception in Battleye, if that really is the problem. Hope you help me!

dedicated server (Fixed) Dedicated server - Battleye Query Timeout error
mach2infinity posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
I want to note that whilst I have fixed the issue I'm curious to know what caused the fault and to help anyone else who'd experiencing the problem and looking for solutions. A bit of background information: I've been hosting my own dedicated server for a while and because of the 'integer flow' issues with Fast2 I reverted to TADST as my go-to server tool. The server is hosted locally on my home network. Inexplicably I started to get Battleye query timeout errors on my server despite having made no changes nor had there been an update to ArmA (AFAIK). The first time I just re-installed the server which fixed the issue. However after two weeks or so the issue returned and it took me a while to troubleshoot: 1) created new server profile 2) reinstalled ArmA server 3) disabled firewall 4) double checked ports are open on router 5) rebooted router 6) attempted this Battleye fix: on my client machine I deleted arma3battleye.exe and battleye folder from ArmA folder (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Arma3), deleted Battleye files from Common Files (Program Files (x86) -> Common Files -> BattlEye) and deleted Battleye folder and missions from MPMissionscache in localappdata then verified game cache on Steam. 7) disabled all 34 mods 8)enabled UPnP on TADST but this only worked for one session RPT file here Because I had heard of the Faster tool (rebuiild of Fast1) through using Fast2, I decided to give it a go as I had eliminated every other cause besides the tool. After I had ported over my KP Liberations saves, lo and behold it worked without issue. I know with troubleshooting it's a process of elimination by being methodical and going step-by-step. But if in my situation and switching server tool to Faster or another that works (not aware of any) then it'll save you trying all the other fixes. TADST is an old and otherwise good tool but it was last updated in 2017. Perhaps that's the issue? Although people still use it without this issue AFAIK. Either way if anyone is able to shed light on the cause then I'd appreciate it! Thanks, M2I-

Battleye query timeout on private server
mach2infinity posted a topic in ARMA 3 - SERVERS & ADMINISTRATION
I have my own dedicated server running the KP Liberation 0.96.7a map with 34 mods using the TADST server tool. Recently I've experienced an issue where it'll disconnect me after 2-3 minutes with a message "you were kicked off the game. (Battleye: query timeout)". This issue doesn't occur on a public server I connected to. Troubleshooting 1) reinstalled ArmA server 2) disabled firewall 3) double checked ports are open on router (screenshot) 3) rebooted router 4) attempted this Battleye fix: on my client machine I deleted arma3battleye.exe and battleye folder from ArmA folder (Steam -> steamapps -> common -> Arma3), deleted Battleye files from Common Files (Program Files (x86) -> Common Files -> BattlEye) and deleted Battleye folder and missions from MPMissionscache in localappdata then verified game cache on Steam. I've included the .rpt file below: I'm at a loss what else I can try. I've come across this post but as I use TADST it won't save any changes to the server.cfg. The only other way would be create a shortcut pointing to a different server.cfg but there's not enough space in the target line to fit all the mods I use (apparently you can use a batch file but not sure how to do that). I experienced the issue a few weeks back and the issue was fixed only after reinstalling the server which I've already tried. This must be coincidence but the issue reoccurred after I installed the Faster.exe tool - I hadn't actually ran a server from it yet only setup profile and settings. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.- 1 reply

FIXED Battleye: client not responding. Or Battleye: client timeout
Machlath posted a topic in ARMA 3 - TROUBLESHOOTING
I just setup my server and everything works properly but after 2-3 mins i get kicked for the reasons in title. Since this only appears on my own server i thought someone with more knowhow could help me. I turned of my norton security ultra and added exceptions but nothing, i added the arma ports to my router but also nothing. I deleted several BE folders, reinstalled BE and arma but all i tried without any success. I do not play with any mods or DLC content, only official CP coop 12 maps. EDIT FIX: Norton security ultra blocked it, even with exceptions and i tried to turn it off completely but it worked after i deinstalled and added the exceptions to windows defender (do not forget to open your ports!!!). -
When Trying to launch Argo i encounter an error saying, "Argo Is Attempting To Launch With The Optional Parameters Shown Below -beservice." but when i press ok it still does the same thing. I've uninstall Battleye, and game then reinstalled it and still didnt work.

ultraaura posted a topic in ARMA 3 - MULTIPLAYER
Hey Guys, I created a new Steam account and bought Arma 3, but everytime I want to join a server I get this error: Arma Battleye admin kick ASP: connection problems #87 I tried with 2 other steam accounts and everything works perfect. I hope someone can help me with this error. Thank you! -
Open the next input prompt "prevent loading file 'C: \ Windows \ System32 \ gamelsp. DLL '" I'm trying to use Steam to verify the integrity of the game cache and I need help!

I've had a recurring problem within Arma 3 for the past year or so and it's prevented me from really playing the game. Every time I try to join a server, it doesn't matter what server (as long as it's not an official server), it always says "Battleye Initialization Failed". Every single time for the past year or so i've been trying and without fail it never works. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, installing battleye straight from their website, moving game directory locations, i've tried it all but nothing ever seems to work. I just want to be able to play again and i've tried contacting everyone I know of but nothing i've ever tried has worked.

I am having an issue with battleye not loading the game. Since I bought the game I am getting an error message about Windows not being able to load the file. I have tried the troubleshooting steps in my old thread(making a new one since the insider version BSOD is fixed). Anyone have any suggestions?
-
Hi, I wrote first to the BattlEye service, but they told me that they were engaged only in bans, and they sent me to the developers. The situation is this: "BattlEye initialization failed", played 1700 hours. I play only on servers with BattlEye. Suddenly, he stopped letting me to the servers. I read and tried everything that I found on the BattlEye website, and generally on the Internet, right up to reinstalling Windows. Windows 10 with all updates. Everything runs as administrator. The BattlEye process is loading and working properly. All protection is disabled and there are no viruses or malware. I'm at a dead end.

There is a known issue with the insider builds that are causing BSOD errors across all games that have anti-cheat systems installed. It has been noted on the Flight Hub that fixes are being rolled out. I am still having issues being unable to play the game with Battleye running. I don't know if this has been reported to you or not. Im thinking this is the error that it is spitting out. SYSTEM_THREAD_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED (7e) This is a very common bugcheck. Usually the exception address pinpoints the driver/function that caused the problem. Always note this address as well as the link date of the driver/image that contains this address. Arguments: Arg1: ffffffffc0000005, The exception code that was not handled Arg2: fffff8055e860333, The address that the exception occurred at Arg3: ffff870cb514f7e8, Exception Record Address Arg4: ffff870cb514f030, Context Record Address Looks to be coming from BEDaisy.sys if im reading the crash dump correctly. https://blogs.windows.com/windowsexperience/2019/04/10/announcing-windows-10-insider-preview-build-18875/#urRQqJMPrtfb7Ayb.97

I require some assistance. So 7-8 months I moved to an apartment in Canada and ever since I have been unable to join any Arma 3 servers with battleye getting the error Battleye Initialization Failed. I have tried all the "Fixes" I could find on the internet to the point of reinstalling windows to no avail. The one issue that I have come across is when people tell me to go to the local files and delete the battleye file, there is no file there even with all hidden files showing (Might be causing the issue) Just for reference, it worked on the same computer before I moved. My assumption is that my apartments network is somehow messing with the anti-cheat and if this is the case I am completely unable to play any Arma 3 server with battleye again until I move. Fixes i have tried -Verify game cache -Reinstall game -reinstall WINDOWS -updated game drivers -I don't have an anti-virus -uninstall and reinstall battleye -Apartments internet was restarted -changed player account (grasping at straws at this point) Please send help I've been without my favorite game for around 8 months and can't take it! PS. I contacted BE Support and they where no help at all

Hello, I am working on a mission and having some difficulty: some time into the mission, every player who has a zeus slot assigned will find their game crashes with the following: 0xc000005 STATUS_ACCESS_VIOLATION I'm kind of at my wit's end trying to debug this issue, as it makes administering the mission a bit problematic if the admin users are being kicked every 20 minutes or so. The mission begins fine, but as units spawn and the player count rises, the odds of the kick happening increase. The interesting thing is it doesn't isolate some users: it's all users that have a zeus module assigned. My initial approach was the dynamically create zeus modules and assign admin users to them, but then I went back to a standard pre-placed module approach, with UIDs as the assignment, to see if that was the issue. Both methods produce the same results. In the .rpt, we get the following: 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 Client Username - client's ticket has become invalid. Code: 6 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 NetServer: cannot find channel #264769362, users.card=45 2018/12/19, 21:11:01 Message not sent - error 0, message ID = ffffffff, to 264769362 (Username) and that happens every second until every Zeus user has crashed. I've tried to be very efficient in the coding of the mission, but there are some loops that run for various reasons. I've used diag_tickTime to clock how some of the longer scripts are performing, and nothing goes over 0.52ms... there were probably around 300 units running in the mission at the time. Any ideas, or suggestions of what to check? I'm at a loss. - Ryko
