The "Shtora" system on the T-90, which has the capability from the commander seat to put it into automatic mode, where you can make it so upon a laser rangefinder hitting the tank, the turret, even if there is someone in the gunner seat, automatically slews in that direction, or in semi-automatic mode where you hit a button and it slews in that direction upon a laser warning. I'm not sure how technically feasible a "hunter-killer" program would be, but if the Shtora system is any indication of it's technical feasibility, I'll leave that up to more knowledgeable people in here.

    Mi-24a Krokodil

Heya, did you recieve permission from the original author to port this forward?

Exciting. Does the RWR distinguish different types of threats appropriately or is that outside the scope of the overhaul?

@Sgt.Makarov I believe that question would be more fit for the ACE3 Slack or the TFAR Discord. In my personal experience from my years of following Red Hammer Studios I've seen a policy of only guaranteeing compatability with the already existing system of what works in vanilla(the scroll bar detonation system in this case), but so far plenty of smart people in the community have been able to make their mods compatible.

Our -FM- in discord already trademarked a very similar name I'm afraid, hope the guy is ready to pay the royalties. After all, FM is British now, royalty should be his thing ^^. @canadian1337 For the attentive eye in this thread, I'm sure the bolts and gears would start turning in their head about one of those

Finally, for years I've awaited the RPK and the LAV-25, after years of requesting, and not reading the FAQ, my wish is granted! Truly a great day!

There is little doubt in my eyes. Not anything to apologize for. Real life always comes first before modding, that's a given. The sneak peaks we've gotten is a good indicator that the mod is alive and well.

    NIArms Release Thread

    Yup, here's a link to it. https://github.com/toadie2k/NIArms
  9. Doesn't it already have a toggle for Afterburners in the scroll menu? IIRC there is also a custom key bound to toggling it that you can map for AB. Also, Firewill, no offense to him, but his flight models handle way too floaty, and AFAIK, this is primarily a maintainence project. Although TeTeT is of course, the one in the know about that ^^.

    Arma 3 Aegis

Indeed it is not impossible. Haleks has a old, old mod that can be found here that does this.

Nope. As long as you own the model and or license it on the up and up there is nothing preventing you from using a premade model.
  12. Right. Thank you for clarifying. It is a rather nifty way to deal with it.
  13. In addition, and feel free to correct me if I am wrong, I do remember reading about RHS vehicles having different hitpoints on components to simulate the damage a penetrative projectile would do more realistically. This is my recollection from reading a Reddit post from one of you RHS lads one or two years ago, so take what I say with about half a kilo of salt.

    United States Air Force( 2015)

As far as I know, and please note I am not a developer of this mod, just someone who has been watching the thread for a good few years, I believe, that ”vanilla” ARMA 3 pylon integration has been confirmed. ”Stealth” by ARMA 3 standards introduced with the Jets DLC will also be included as far as I know. Regarding the Daisycutter, I doubt USAF takes requests, but there is currently a GBU-43/B included as of the last release that can be used. However, considering the entire mod has been overhauled since then, it’s not a garantee that it will be included in the final release version. However, I’m sure a developer who knows what they’re talking about could shed a lot more light on that if they are willing.

Spectacular work like always. Congratulations on the release!

Here's a nice collection of IP violations. I'll post it here, since I know you guys have no mercy. Do note, I haven't checked for myself, but not sure why they would lie about what is in their mod pack. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1134524642

    25 KKiv Model 2035

That's fine. Either way, it's a really, really great add-on. I look forward to what you might make in the future, judging from the APEX drone, which was one of my favourite add ons back in the day.

    25 KKiv Model 2035

Yep. Don't expect any help if you are playing the game illegally on the forum of the game you pirated. (Great rifle by the way! Is there a possibility of having some ACE3 compatibility files in the future? Thanks!)

The developers of USAF have showed no indication of wanting to give up their intellectual property rights just for your convenience. This isn't the first time it's been asked, so please, search a thread before you pander the developers in the future. It gets very tiring after a while, especially when they're doing this for free and in their free time. Thanks.

This is truly a historic day in RHS history. Thank you so much for what you've all done RHS-team. Thank you.

    RHS Escalation (AFRF and USAF)

You're gonna have to elaborate on both of those questions if you want help. RHS is independent and doesn't require any other mods for it to function. Under which circumstances can't you equip the AT-4? Have you tried reproducing the issue? Are you running the latest version of RHS? And so on...
  22. Left CTRL + Right Mouse Button, if my memory serves me right. It got introduced a while ago with virtual targeting pods on vanilla ARMA 3 planes, and has since been incorporated into plenty of mods. Firewill has however changed the overlay a bit and added the option of laser designation and range finding to his work(s). Make sure you have a targeting pod on your F-16 however, if you want to use laser designation.

    Project - Vertical Lift 2035

A helicopter design wouldn't necessarily work on a plane design. The speed operating parameters is entirely different. I doubt these motor driven flaps could withstand the force of >300 km/h before shaking apart. Props are a nightmare for this very reason, many moving parts, things that can break. Sure, props have their application, but we're talking about a plane from the 2030s, not 2016. By this time, I'm fairly certain a lot of applications of propellers have been made redundant by new inventions in the propulsion field. Especially on a VTOL aircraft that is so breathtakingly large, and let's be honest here, I could probably use an radar from the 1960 to bounce signals off the Blackfish, it's that horrible of a design, because it's basically a flying rectangle from the side. Anyways, that being said, OP... A thought on the (very beautiful) design, do you plan on making the structural support for the rotors any larger? Because the structural support of the fuselage seems very small leading up to the wings. I doubt that it would provide sufficient support for the seemingly heavy engine. Just some thoughts, but it's a beautiful model nonetheless. Also, pilot visibility when the engine is in the horizontal position. How do you plan on making sure the pilot can see to the sides with the engines in the way? I know this is just in the design stages, but I personally think that feedback is a good thing.

    Project - Vertical Lift 2035

Agreed. The design of the V-44 Blackfish was from a aviation perspective not very realistic in my opinion. I highly doubt that two variable tilt rotors would provide enough thrust to be effective on all different variations, but especially the gunship variant. Why would one not use a turbofan instead of propellers? Surely, by the mid 2030s they must be more suitable for military applications then rotors? Quicker response to thrust input, thrust vectoring, efficiency, more thrust...The list goes on. I also doubt that putting a 105 mm cannon on a plane is necessary at that time. I'm guessing that stealth and aerodynamics will compensate for the raw firepower that it provides, when "intelligent" ammunitions are a few years away today. But I digress... Needless to say, I look forward this project nonetheless.

    Splendid Smoke

Very impressive work! The smoke dispersion in vanilla never seemed anything remotely close to reality. This is more of a technical question, but did the smoke not obstructing the line of sight (LOS) bug get fixed in an update somewhere along the line? I could almost swear the bug has been around almost as long as I have been on this forum, back in early 2014 or something like that. Hyperbole aside, the spread is really nice and no performance hit is very important to someone like me running an old-ish rig. Just great!
