5:00 o'clock AM, july 6, full overcast. I think it's a bit overkill with the darkness of the clouds(set to ultra in options), especially that there is sun in the sky at that time:

I just started to play a mission created before update and found an error. The Opfor Recon demo specialist causes the problem. His backpack actually.

It says "bad vehicle type B_FieldPack_oucamo_ReconExp".

Maybe someone can confirm this.

Hey that's definitely alot better than what I'm getting :( I even have my brightness slider set to 0.5 the lowest it can go to try and make full overcast a bit darker. Not sure what's going on with that. Sunsets look exactly like your first pictures though, nice and orange clouds.

If you want the game to look darker you want to lower the gamma, not the brightness.

EDIT: Oh I see you're talking about bleach values, yeah that comes from brightness, still try lowering the gamma.

I saw the new UAV's and UGV's... If I wake up tomorrow or the next few days and see them on the developement branch changelog, I will literally have a heart attack from excitement.

Decreased bomb touch off priority to prevent accidental detonations.

Priority hasn't been decreased at all or not enough.

Repro: place player as sniper and an empty Pawnee, empty Kajman and ammo box.

Put Claymore. Approach Pawnee slowly. Touch off action suddenly appears in the middle of the screen before the chopper related get in/rearm actions.

Same with ammo box, but with Kajman the Get In is the first to appear spontaneously.

2) Peripheral dots; why do I see them all the time on the vehicles even when I'm 10m from them and looking straight at them? On default difficulty settings. (Noticed it in the aforementioned repro).

149 mb downloading now. Please God I hope this fixes the crawling AI and ability to command targeting empty vehicles.... or back to non-dev I go;-)

Just installed the dev build (0.75.108469), I now only get about 22fps while playing with the editor (single unit, no mission). Prior to installing the dev build I reliably got 60fps with vsync and 75+ without vsync. I havn't changed anything on the settings and as far as I can tell the settings have stayed the same, I'm wondering if anyone else is having this problem...

edit, I have no mods installed.

Ignore my puny ramblings...

For example, AP rounds should probably technically perhaps not penetrate frontal armour/turrets of IFVs, but may penetrate the sides (and then not exit through the other side).

...our Top Dentist speaks the official word on this matter:

You'll find yourself incapable of penetrating side armor of AMV even with standard 12.7 rounds. You'd need at least 12.7 sabot to pierce through the side armor, and depending on angle frontal armor would also be able to deal with 30mm sabots.

The turret is much less capable of stopping bullets. You'll see yourself being capable of penetrating it with anything better than Zafir, except the front armor which is sloped quite much and should provide better protection.

The Marid has remote controlled turret, that means you'll have to penetrate hull armor to kill the crew and passengers. Still possible with heavy sniper rounds.

Panther armor is so thick you'll find yourself in trouble trying to penetrate it even with tank cannons, though this depends on angle ;)

Kamysh armor is not better than AMV and Marid, but its enormous agility and maneuverability gives you chance to utilize the vehicle more tactically.

I always had 60fps (SP) since the alpha vSynchro on. VH settings.

But sometimes with no reason Fps drop to 30, it's fixed when i'm looking at the ground.

That just sounds like vsync doing its job properly. If your monitor refresh rate is 60Hz then you'll get screen tearing if the fps isn't some multiple of 60. So if for some reason your fps drops to 59, then vsync will drop things to 30fps to prevent tearing. When you look at the ground the fps should go up because there are less objects to draw, so vsync should be able to give you 60 again.

I was in the gunner seat in the AH-99 and looking around is kinda weird. Turning my head to the side seems to warp my vision. It's probably like that on purpose due to the shape of cockpit, but I thought I would check here and find out.

Uh I'm pretty sure it's already ingame, I was holding an MK18 and grabbed a Katiba off a dead soldier with the hand icon and I instantly grabbed the gun and I could fire it, it doesn't pick up the mags from the soldier, only the one magazine already in the gun which is good as it leads to tight situations where you run out of ammo in a gunfight and it's viable to quickly find another primary weapon on the ground instead of switching to your sidearm.
