alx 20 Posted July 25, 2013 That issue is windows running out of virtual memory. Nothing to do with your ram per-say. Turn on, or increase the size of your PageFile. Thanks for the pointer. There's a morale boost that comes with new content and features (not taking away from the documentation on AI improvements etc...) Just me but I'm really not that interested in a drone (which appears to be coming. We still have no Nightvision or thermal scopes for rifles, No shotguns, no static defences other than mortars, No high command etc... (check the independent helicopter for unused MFD screens) All of those blank screens / static low quality pics makes the game look dated. I think GPS should be sidplayed on those unused screens. sqb-sma 66 Posted July 25, 2013 Hmm, I love the AI changes, but I really loved how AI went crouched when engaged. Now that seems to be less prominent. If you observe human players (or indeed people at airsoft fields, where contact is close and fairly constant) you'll see they spend a fair amount of the time hunched or crouched to make themselves less visible, even when sprinting. The Namer is as heavily armored as an MBT. Even autocannon fire will not penetrate unless you hit the rear door. 40mm grenades should not hurt it either... Devs? I understand that they've made the new apcs destroyable by grenade launchers to "balance" stuff.... but it's soooo wrong. Ok.. sure, the guns are more fragile(especially the remote ones), they are certainly not as armored as the hull, so imo it won't be bad if by granade launchers you can DISABLE the apc(tracks or gun) but you SHOULDN'T BE ABLE to blow it up! It would also "balance" stuff so marid against panther wouldn't be totally useless, yet it will bring more AUTHENTICITY(Bis favourite word ;]). Oh and yeah, the Marshal... or to be precise the vehicle that it is based on, had frontal protection against 30mm autocannon AP rounds. Vote(or not) for disabling "magical" radar in APCs: http://feedback.arma3.com/view.php?id=11925. I couldn't completely destroy a panther with an explosive detonated right next to it, it just took out the wheels, I believe I could before? Just did a quick test where I constantly shot it with the Kamysh's 6.5 machinegun for around 2 min, with time set to x4.00. It didn't recieve a scratch. xx-LSD-xx 10 Posted July 25, 2013 (edited) I've noticed since the latest update that when I get into a Helicopter and start it up it instantly gets damaged as in the main rotor flies apart or it just explodes killing all aboard. Same happens when other players try to fly the helis. Doesn't happen all the time but I'd say more often then not. Glad everything is with in driving distance. Has any one else had this happen? P.S. I run ASR_AI for A3 on our server and the latest AI update is simply awesome. Major improvement. Good job BI Devs keep it up. Wish switching back and forth from the stable to the Dev wasn't such a pain in the ass. Should be able to run both via a shortcut. JMO. Byko's right - I used all the 50 cal ammo in a hunter and didn't manage to destroy the panther.
