Command Help:

New Mission Makers:

For new mission makers, I highly suggest the F2 MP Mission Framework, its a great start, saves a lot of placement and has some nifty features that you could spend hours learning to implement, but you can just do so with a small edit (good internal documentation makes it very easy!).

Request;

Is there any chance of a Opforce equivalent of the RHIB or some sort of fast gunboat for EAST?

Changing the default RHIB to EAST in the mission sqm wont work.

Im new to the editor and Im catching on fast but no matter what I do I cant seem to be able to for example, add a LAV-25 that my squad can use. I added the unit and set it to playable as commander, gunner and driver and unlocked it yet when I preview mission all i can do is get in the back. Whats the trick here?

Setting a unit to "Playable as ..." simply means that those slots are selectable in multiplayer. When you place the vehicle, it will already have AI units in those positions, which is why you can only get in the back. Perhaps it would be better if you placed the vehicle as empty.

imma bit late here, but Alethius, what you could do is press the team switch button (default T...i think) and a menu will come up and you will be able to switch to the units you have selected as "playable as...."

Hi ,

i am a Fan of your Sim since OFP and making Missions since OFP.

One of your best Game Features is the High Command Feature i think !

I remember i can use Months ago(or Years ?) the "interact" Menue of the HQ Feature. So i can order Squads to move in Vehicles.

I dont remember wich patch it makes this important Feature unusable, but it was a long Time ago.

Please fix this Feature for A2/OA ! We need the possibility to Load/unload Squads with HQ.

Hey,

I am creating a mission and am in the process of building a huge base.

But how do you change the direction that objects are facing. This is probably a really stupid question....but when i place an mg nest in for example it simply points in the spawn direction how do you get it to face another direction?

2 ways, 1. u can either change the direction on the object before you place it, (in the clock look alike thing) or you can hold down Ctrl and choose direction with mouse.

Hi! At me new trouble: at first , i install Arma 2 on the new computer and i have no a problem, dut then i patching 1.00 to 1.07 or 1.09 and receive the message "wrong sd key", however earlier on another computer i did all it without problems. And the main thing - my CD is license. Please help me, what i should to do?

Thanks for the reply i tried to use the control button and it did not work is it because i am in the scenario editor rather than the main editor?

ahha, yes its for the main editor, not the scenario editor. I dont use scenario editor. I use the main editor. much better:D
