Hi there folks.

I´m still struggling with Podaga atm so i can´t promise date for the patch.

JuggernautOfWar vehicle sounds are not altered in this mod at this point, so what you hear is vanilla A2 sounds when it comes to vehicle and same thing with minigun but i´ll definetly try to change it.

Some of the guns are superb .. Love the grenade and explosion sounds ... man I really wish this was modular, there's some definite things I would use, but there's also some bits that aren't as strong.

Could this possibly become modular at all?

Why isn't there no cracking sound when the bullets whiz by your head? Maybe the crack is lower but the most memorable part inside ArmA 2 for the sound in my opinion was the CRACK CRACK noise when someone is trying to shoot near or at you.

Great soundmod, Goeth. But there is one thing missing.

Where are the serverkeys?

Without them its unplayable on a lot of servers and unplayable for my fellows, me and a bunch of other people.

I must definitely say this is a great soundaddon, not far away from HIFI-for A1.

But there is one drawback, it prevents me sometimes from bike riding in the woods (with XAM-Soundmod include).

So far great !

I didn't think I needed a sound mod but now that I've got a headset I can really tell the difference and this mod sounds really good!

There is some strange things, that made the game unbalanced:

1.With the mod you can hear beeping of satchel, while without it - you can not.

2.Mi-24 YakB 12.7 mm gun shoots full automatically without mod and by bursts with it.

Also I found some sources that you can use for new version, if you like, of course:

. The quality is not pure,but it is rather real like, that you used in 1.0 version

I will try to find more sounds for another weapons, if you need.

They work for me. Might just be more random. I haven't played without SOW in so long I couldn't tell you.

It is in fact a bit random. Dont know if that is the engine acting up or something else. But it has been like that to me always (with SOW).

I think this mod needs some work,the AK74 sounds like a cannon,the bullet cracks are not as good as the version of Arma1,the vopsound 2.1 its better.

And how lowd the bullets sound? See this video,he is shooting a weapon supressed,but on the first part of the video his using supersonic bullets,and on the second part they are subsonic->

Yes it needs more work. The author knows that as well. He works on bigger projects atm and gave us this to use over the standard ones.

VOP sound is better in some areas, and this in other. Incoming arty for 1 is awesome in SOW. But if you like another one better then use that one. Why come here and bash his work?

Another soundmod in the works (Chammy), You think VOP is better than this:

SOW might see new light with the release of the FDF mod. Thats just speculation on my part however. I like it for now until something new comes. :)
