Yes setdammage has a range of uses in ArmA cellery.

You could of course have achieved the same with a mod of the helicopters or a mod of the gun.

or a script would have done.

Excelent video of script commands and how modable ArmA is, though something more spectacular with billboards and flying tanks is more usual for this kind of video; I do not think less is more works for this genre.

You keep writing my name wrong, walker. It's not setdamage and also not a mod. It's a dig on those videos where somebody snipes the pilot or tail rotor of a helicopter and thinks it's special.

Its using Mando bombs (bomb run) and also a night firefight with flares etc. Unfortunately it does capture one stock arma gun sound thats an issue currently with Chammy V2 & shouldn't exist (try to look past that for now its getting fixed).

Just wanted to show the jet engine sounds & explosions, plus flares being used in a fire firefight at night, and of course the Chammy Mod. Oh, and the fact this is the first video ive made for arma / the game it self as a test run for future videos.

Now that´s a shame ... was about to post something about this most beautiful island.

Maybe Vimeo starts enforcing the "no gaming" policy they announced earlier this year. BWMod channel is still there though

For anybody interested you can download a short vid of the Australians at War (AAW) SCUBA script in action from here: http://www.norrin.org/downloads/AAW/scuba_0001.wmv (approx 17 MB)

The vid uses ADO's excellent SCUBA unit (available here).  The script should be released on the BIS editing forums sometime over the next few days.
