nice and i make a request for ace abrams interior few month ago , did you see any problem to add your abrams interior to ace abrams because they need contributor for this. http://dev-heaven.net/issues/12418

Couldn't say, depends on wether or not they'd even want it, being a completely built custom abrams some things might not fit into the BIS version.

Either way its far too early to say, lots..LOTS to do.

Also if I was one you wished luck to wolfbite then thank you, will use it to the best of my ability..I have to say this interior stuff is rather exciting.

Awesome work Nod, I'm curious to see how that turns out.

@Wolfbite: That's actually just the LHD in the video, the Nimitz still has a lot of texturing to be done. Also, yes a walkable bridge is asking too much lol. I could probably do it, cuz interiors do work "somewhat" as seen in the other video I put up. However its too time-consuming for something that won't be used often, and my other excuse is that this is my first addon lol. But I do plan to continue adding to it after the first release, whatever is doable, so we'll see.

Deck's got a fancy new surface. Ryguy was nice/skilled enough to make an awesome texture for it, I went ahead and did the runway lines/tire marks/etc on top of it. I'll probably end up making the lines a bit more dull, though, I think they're kinda bright.

Oooooh...the Nimitz, great work Jdog!

Colour brightness seems okay to me, but you should add some 'wear and tear' to it.

not much of a tankboy myself, but the abrams + interior looks really nice :D

lol I got a great machine... but I can only image trying to run Crysis' carrier in multiplayer with a bunch of stuff going on haha.

Sure if you want him to get in trouble on legal grounds.

That carrier while great for that game I'm not sure would fit well here, the amount of objects it took to make was crazy, basicly you had the decks cut into various pieces with holes cut into them..thats it.

The tower, interior, nets, barrles, railing..every piece of equipment attached to it was seperate and had to be placed seperately upon it.

But that beauty of it, you won't see many if not more than 1 at a time so you can treat it like a small enclosed island, detailing it to your hearts content.

The textures are modified BIS ArmA1 zombie textures, came out well for the gritty and worn look.

Needs:

- more variations

- bloodtextures

- model adjustments

- config work

Ewww they are so dirty, it looks like they've been crawling through mud and grime. I love it.

Icewindo those guys look fantastic, really. Only thing, maybe have the top of the hoods rest lower? They look awkwardly suspended/stiffened.

Yes, that was the idea, have units that truly look worn and dirty. Further dirty custom faces and weapons might contribute to this even more, but that's stuff for a version after the first version :p .

Thanks, yep I took a look at that. Hood is abit lower now, need to get the selection right (there's a artifact on the right side).

I also had a try at a modelled beard.

Those are looking great, only thing is the beard kinda looks like a piece of meatloaf right now... like too glued together. Add more hairs sticking out (you already have some) to make it look more puffy :)

this is zpu4 from OFP original model of win$e i am trying to get his permission look's like he out long time ago changed a lot improved textures still small things to do hopefully i'll get this guy

nice texture, but there are some problems.

Firstly, the beard doesn't really sit like a natural beard. There is no natural direction or form to the beard fibres. It does, however, seem to be okay for the outskirts of the beard. Whatever brush you used to create the alpha of the beard is not working. Beards don't start in blotches, they start in sparse hairs that point in the same direction as the rest of the beard. Also, the form of the beard is wrong. You shoudl probably try to lay a mustache, plus a beard, plus sideburns, then meld the beard into the sideburns to get a more natural look.
