Is it just me or are the walking animations just getting faster and faster with each release? Armed and unarmed walking animations are IMHO now frankly completely unrealistic.

Change log:

Increased speed of walking in crouch with lowered pistol

Increased speed of walking in stand with lowered rifle.

Substantially inreased speed while walking with launcher in crouch

Increased speed of walking while standing with launcher

So I guess all of these also have faster animations.

Bugger. I wish there was a way to control this other than increasing fatigue.

No offense, but the fatigue sounds are sucking hard to me. Makes it hard not to quit the game after hearing 5 minutes "huh,hah,huh,ha;ah,ah,Yyy;ah,ah,huh..." And that INSTANTLY. I´ll prefer to throw a nade in front of me insted hear this fatigue/hurt sounds

try not to come in the situation of that "huh,hah,huh,ha;ah,ah,Yyy;ah,ah,huh..." , rest for a bit , and don´t run, just jog with weapons down. so adabt to the new way to play.

but as you are in the general discussion threat , you know they did a change in the dev version...

It is not about fatigue, the problem is the volume and even the type of sound. They are exaggerated, probably taken from a p0rn movie.

By the way, after time without playing, WTF are those slo mo animations, and the ultra-fast ones? Why the Katiba shots are deviated to the right? Steam missions cannot be restored ... The version of the game should be decreasing, seriously.

this setObjectTexture [0,"#(argb,8,8,3)color(R,G,B,1.0,CO)"]

Replace the R,G,B with numbers 0-1 to generate colour values for the glowing stripes on the units.

Gentlemen,

I understand this is Beta and the game will crash every now and again. However there is an issue that goes back at least to Arma2. Its a really easy fix. My Arma2 server admin fixed this himself.

Apparently you guys used some whacky system to track vehicle ownership during a game. WHY? do you not set vehicle ownership to be tied to your GUID? My Arma2 admin hacked the code and made this possible solving a whole crap load of issues, not the least of which is losing your vehicle ownership upon Arma3 crashing.

I have lost many many many vehicle refunds at the end of KOTH matches because I was no longer recognized as the vehicles owner after a crash. I'm talking top dollar tanks and helicopters. Very frustraiting.

I often recover the vehicle myself, and sometimes manage to use it till it has repaid itself. However as a temporary fix you could incorporate a vehicle refund system which would solve my problem and encourage captured vehicles to not simply be blown up. If I recovered my vehicle and turned in for a full or at least partial refund. I would feel a lot better.

If you need my admins information to find out how he achieved this please contact me.

Make a ticket on the FT and attach your .rpt and .bidump files created from the crashes. If those crashes are fixed there's no problem.

Altering the default locality system to suit an uncommon situation experienced with a singular gamemode is a workaround that's probably not optimal in all multiplayer situations.

The new fatigue system makes the last units of the group get tired faster than the leader or more advanced units. Worse the farther of the group and in mountainous terrains. At the end you are waiting for the rest of the group, spreaded over a hundred of meters.

Maybe it's due to the pathfinding and formation behaviors that force the units to do many corrections, not allowing them to rest the same as you.

Actually heavy panting and groaning sounds from heavy exertion are common, ever lifted a heavy couch with a few friends? Oh yeah it definately sounds like a porn movie going on with all the grunting.

Speaking airsoft, every time we climb one of the steep hills of the terrain we play in, the top becomes rapidly barren of any wildlife because of the grunting and heavy breathing. Airsoft gear quickly becomes quite heavy and cumbersome, just imagine adding things like armor platings and real ammo.

One thing that always surprises me though is how easily you can move, shoot and operate while prone in games: you always see the guy launching himself on the ground and then happily proning his way around with no problem whatsoever. If I try something like that in a woodlike environment, I end up losing half of the gear I keep in my tactical vest, only to replace it with grass and branches I swoop up along the way. Let alone shoot without painfully arching my back, courtesy of the magazine trying to clip in the ground.

That is why I love bullpups.

Yay!

yeah, never mind how when prone your character rotates effortlessly around on its penis in a full 360 circle. Be better if it would have to move 45' then another, etc. just to make it feel less false and arcady.

Yes, the game is still too forgiving in this.

Did anyone spoke airsoft?? :o

There are many diferences, we that practice weekly airsoft, we note that differences in the game forgives: irregular terrain (´ve fallen many times due gaps), tiredness, long crouching during shooting started feeling numbness, fatigue, sway weapon, weapon inertia (our weapon are perfect replicas from the real ones), shooting while exhaling instead of holding breath, drop the gun near a blast, rolling grenade, cooking grenade, weapon jam, etc..

But it is better not to speak out to not disturb the natives.

Well when you train for months, even years, doing marches every week of at least 20 km, 3 days of fitness training with all the equipment ( backpack, helmet, etc. ), the obstacles course, etc. You get certain ease and you get used to pain ( and injuries ).

Obviously there is still some hard breathing sometimes, but even for someone like me that is not specially good at sports, I could manage myself good enough. Besides that your skin gets harder, so its easy to prone even in an area full of stones and sharp vegetation.

The worst was to run / walk long marches in beach sand, that was a factory of blisters ( BTW after hard training you realize that you can walk more than 30 km carrying a 20 kg backpack with 11 blisters in each foot without major problems ).

But this is a game, so to me its fine if its not 100% accurate. To me the actual changes are fine enough ( maybe sway is too much, specially because you don't have the possibility to stabilize your weapon with the surrounding objects, in RL I'd use the first rock / wall, etc. as support to get proper aiming ( even in "relax" ).

Do you own the DLC bundle or the Kart DLC (or maybe none)?

Does the problem still exists with the latest dev branch update?

I have the DLC bundle, and I have updated to the latest dev branch as of today and problem still persists.

Also, I fixed the mergeConfigFile error, I forgot to add diag_ in the beginning. But there is a new problem now. Every time I execute diag_mergeConfigFile it gives me a scope error at first, but after looking through the errorlogs it seems that after I execute that function, it stops inheriting from any BI classes such as SHIP and SHIP_F in cfgVehicles.
