One more thing: I can't seem to construct a FARP next to a repair truck as an engineer. What am I doing wrong?

EDIT: Still all I see under radio is "Call Air Taxi". I'm still not quite sure what that even does, but there's no ability to call in arty support, even while playing as an arty/RESCUE specialist.

I just got done hosting a game on this server and my friend couldn't see the M1A1 TUSK on the server, but he could see everything else. What am I doing wrong here? I'm having quite a bit of issues. Oopsie, sorry for the double post. :eek:

hi guyz, i downloaded xenos last dominations weeks ago just before he closed the link http://dev-heaven.net/projects/domination/files cause he stopped!

i just cant find them on my drive atm. could someone plz be so kind an tell me where i can download the last releasepack "pure and unedited" domi versions of xeno!!!

So my team and I are looking to mod some of the things on the map like putting in another CH-47 and UH-60 but the guy who's trying to mod these things in can't find the lifting script in order to pick up enemy wrecks and other allied vehicles, and take them to our base for repair and re-use.

At the moment, we're using the old 2.28 version, I'm not a programmer so I have no idea if that matters but I figure give this place a try, someone will know what I'm talking about.

If you need help with anything for D4 please just ask. Your missions rock and I have learned alot from them. I am down for testing when you need it.

I'm intrigued :)

Targets don't have to be cities, the underlying system just needs one logic per target, the rest is done automatically.

Is it possible to implement automatic scaling of these targets based on the kind of nearest location and distance to it? I.e. if the nearest location is of type village, the target will be easier than if it was of type town. If it's not directly near any, we know that it is some off site location, and scaled further down. It makes each fight more varied. If an award system is still used, the power of the award could be a result of what effort was put into getting the objective.

If side missions are still in, give support availability for solving them (i.e. artillery rounds awarded), not vehicles - vehicles only for main targets. I'm basically fed up with leveling each place to the ground with artillery. It's supposed to be an asset that helps you win the war, not a deciding factor, and would never be allowed used how it is used in the game/mission. By not having infinite amounts of artillery support, we're forced to think where we use it to best effect rather than constantly.

It's supposed to be a thinking mans game. Why not make it a thinking mans mission? :)

Ok, D4 looks awesome. I have a question which I hope isn't too nooby (actually it is so feel free to flame away but please give me the actual answer as well :) )

I'm trying to get all the fixes from Domination 2.54 OA to run on Chernarus fighting the Russians. Is there a simple way to do this (editing the macros.sqf and setup.sqf then running setupcopy.bat)? I notice all the target locations are in the code already. Problem is I can't be doing it right as although the targets are in the right place and the missions get generated at the start there are a number of bugs happening that prevent us from playing the mission beyond the first target area. The parachutes tend to not get packed properly either which can cause problems, and a few craters.

After about 45 min to an hour, I get kicked for battleye failed to respond. In AI west for OA.

Someone please explain the engineer role to me, I dont get it.

I know he is supposed to repair damaged vehicles in the field - but I cant figure out how this works.

Sometimes when looking at a damaged vehicle in the action menu there appear the "Analyse" and "Repair" options and actually work and sometimes they dont appear?

Do I always need to have a repair truck with me to do this?

You can use it once then you have to return to base to eh recharge it :), if you have a truck you can use the option more than once.

But if used already you should get a popup saying you have used it.

And what exactly do I need to do for this "recharging at base"?
