How I got the idea to post this thread? Today I was standing and watching the beach and the sea. I was astonished how realistic the waves looked and tried to compare it with OFP. It made me think about all the last games that had been published and I tried to remember the game that had created waves and water which most resembeled what I was looking at. MOHAA wasnt bad, Battelfield 19xx even better. "what a neird I am" I thought, "here I have the real sea, real waves, real salt water" and I think about computer games?"

oh yes. everytime when i have the opportunity to watch a nice sunrise or dawn with beutiful colored clouds, guess what...ofp comes to my mind and i catch myself saying something like "cool..this looks like in OFP" and my friends will surely send some nerved looks into my direction if they´re near

You know God came up with some nice textures, but he doesn't have a lens flare on the sun, which would have been nice. The trees are great.....have you seen how they move in the wind? But the gameplay sucks IMO

I have the same problems with mixing flashpoint and real life. I was watching a video in drivers ed crash and I muttered "CAR is history!" While playing football a got taken out an opposing player and I thought "Damn 1... is down!"

I swear that I also hear death cries like the ones in Flashpoint randomly every once in awhile.

i was about to call someone and tell them, when i barely managed to not say "oh no, 1 is down!".

Hey, I go out all the time

Take a nice stroll along the beaches of Nogova, or climbing trees on sunny Everon, or even a nice Rock Climbing excursion on Kolgujev. Heck i even like a good snowball fight from time to time on Nogojev (which looks a lot like Kolgujev) or how about taking a nice drive in the Malden countyside?
