you need realize such sync causes rendering recalc (lighting etc) ...

ofc i aim to get done some universal weather MP sync (everything properly synced) from server (as server is always right)

It has been bugging me for a while that the MLRS had some very weird textures.

After looking around in the pbos I found two odd things:

- The current texture is from the A2 MLRS, with only contrast/hue adjustments. No wonder it's all misaligned when it isn't even for the same model.

- The actual texture is in the game files (mbt_01_mlrs_co.paa), and with the setobjecttexture command it can be viewed ingame.

Perfect fit. All it requires is a simple config change.

The real surprise for me is that this bug apparently existed since 2012 and not a single fix or bug report was made.

I wonder if it would be possible to expose the squad commands to scripting. The commands that appear when you are leading a squad. I would love to be able to call "advance" or "regroup" or even "flank right" inside a script file.

Agree.

I guess that's why it was daytime for me when joining a server and everyone else seemed to have nighttime. I was wondering why the other players used night-vision in the middle of the day ^^

Reconnecting/Switching slot made it night for me too though. ;p

And the Crepuscular rays looks amazing btw. looking forward to the new rain aswell.

Only addressing part of the issue, but take a look at first link in my sig and vote it. Generally though we're not lacking scripting commands to reproduce command menu actions/behaviours, some are direct, others require a bit of scripting. More 1-to-1 AI scripting commands would be welcome by many though, specially mission makers.

In particular I'm interested in the "advance" command. It seems to force my AI squad mates to advance by using the basic drill (sprint two seconds, dive, shoot, scout ahead and repeat) and in pairs. Without it they just seem to lie on the ground even if the SL moves ahead.

Yes... being able to have direct scripting access to native behaviour would be better than figuring it out and reproducing what's behind {cmd_stay_back=4, cmd_move=12, cmd_fire=27, ...} in configs.

The stance indicator doesn't change color if you choose different color of the UI. No matter what settings, it's still white.

Does anyone else expericence strange grapical bugs since the latest devupdate? My gun loses it's texture (plain white model only) when looking at or above the horizon, water dissapears while driving a boat an looking through third person?

I'd like to confirm this bug before i create a ticket, since it might be caused by my computer, not the game itself. So, anyone else?

I got that too. For me its not really dependant on the vertical angle I am pointing my gun but rather on the horizontal. Generally when I look towards the sun the weapon goes white. In addition, water disappears and particle effects dissappear. I'm not sure what patch introduced it (noticed it a few days ago). I have heard of others having the same problem. It was supposedly fixed but

Couldn't find any existing tickets for it.

I encountered the same problem...

Do you have PPAA disabled? If so, can you confirm that enabling it fixes the rendering issues?

EDIT: The whiting out of 1st person objects occurs relative to the sun's position, not the horizon...

Yep I had it disabled. When PPAA is enabled though the problem disappears - along with my framerate.

Confirmed. I can't really play the game with PPAA enabled, so thats' not a good fix. lets hope somethign gets done. It also applys to vehicle interiours, by the way.

For me, that whiteout happened when either HDR or Dynamic Lighting (don't remember which one) was set to low. It's a result of the light shafts I think.

I'd still like it see Magazines as being proxies.

So if I load a drum mag into a weapon, I see a drum mag model represented and not a standard mag that somehow gives me the capacity of 75 shots.

Yep, that explains it (I don't run PPAA at all anymore because of low fps).

Intended for what reason?

The last 3 or 4 rounds are tracers to tell you or your squad that you will need to reload soon.
