No mods. Was using mods but disabled them and still. Happens to me on both dev and stable. Tried both. Re validated my files, one had to be reeaquired, but still no joy on the triggers. All condition buttons are not selectable. Very frustrating as I cant work on my missions in the editor. AND if its just me who is experiencing this then I am a bit worried.

I was even using game booster and shut that off to see if it helped. I am lost.

I'll mention this as well, the triggers I plopped down when they were were working are all dysfunctional as well with no condition selected.

here are my specs if that helps:

Windows 8 64

i7 2700K stock overclock

nVidia GTX 680 4 GB

16 GB RAM

No problem with triggers here.

Why does the Darter have 6 different HitPoints in the top left GUI but the Greyhawk and stomper don't?

No reason to change them? How about the fact that they are reversed (backwards) on one arm, pretty sure the good old US of A do not have Old Glory facing reverse on any uniform.....or am I mistaken?

Actually, the flag on the US uniform is reversed for a reason. The star field on the flag faces forward, as this is the way it would appear if the person was carrying a flag on a pole moving forward. The US flag is also ONLY supposed to be on the right arm, 1/2 (one half) inch below the shoulder seam. It only appears on the uniforms RIGHT arm, as in the US military, this is considered the side of honor.

This is because the Darter uses the helicopter flight model and took over everything from the helicopter, hitpoints included, while the Greyhawk uses the fixed wing (airplane) flight model and it's one hitpoint (the hull).

This is really stupid IMO. You can take out the Darter with one shot anywhere, so why even have 5 hitpoints? Why not instead improve the hitpoint system for fixed wing aircraft?

Am I the only one having problems completing the infantry showcase? 90% of the time my team gets wiped out just before entering the village, by a combination of village defenders making an offensive push and enemy team coming over the ridgeline: the remaining 10% it gets wiped out while liberating the village.

Problem is, remaining on my own makes the mission impossible, because the enemy AI will just put suppressive fire on my cover and flank me.

Got a question regarding tomorrow's update: Will it include the FiA faction? I've seen and heard nothing about them and I am very, very curious to how their gear loadout, uniforms and vehicles will be!

Edit: And what does FiA stand for anyway?

It's hard, and I love it for that, but double check super AI is not turned on under the difficulty options (you may also want to twiddle with the skill sliders a wee bit).

It's a lot harder in dev branch with the new AI, that's for sure, you're no longer way better than your team. I'd reccomend download TPWCAS, TPWEBS or some other AI mod (Windwalkers mod is integrated with EBS, and it's fantastic) so that suppressive fire works against AI as well.

I also think its a good sign, as the AI get better you have to treat them more like real players, be more fearful of them etc.

Nope, tomorrow's update will only bring Altis and no other content but RiE hinted that we might get some more release content later on as we move closer to launch.

I'm sure SuperAI is off, sliders are 0,70 for the enemy and 1,00 for allies.

Don't get me wrong I love how the enemy AI is coming out (I still have my doubts on squad AI, at least if you're the team leader), but the mission just looks impossible. As someone else already stated, it's basically a turkey shot for OPFOR, since we are attacking along a valley with enemies in front and on the ridgeline, close to no cover (if not some rocks and trees) and in heavy number inferiority (it's 4 on about 20+).

Freedom Island Alliance ?

BTW Has anything been released about that faction? ( it could make sense that they use modern equipment, like M16 or AK74 )

Freedom and Independence Army/Alliance. What I'd love to see would be that the Altian resistance chose that name because one of their leaders is a descendant of some Nogovian Soldier, or maybe some other connection like that.

FIA was the resistance founded on Nogova to resist the Soviet occupation in 1983, and was revived on the nearby everon/malden islands in name when Guba returned to militarily force a turnaround of Glasnost.

Personally I don't know why all you guys are worried about flags on uniforms. The fact that BI thought they could make anyone happy by making "NATO" U.S. units but putting those U.S. units in vehicles that belong to other countries. To me it's insulting that U.S. crewman are fighting in Israeli armor. Both Merkava and Panther. NATO has never had a uniform. U.N. does, or at least blue helmets. But NATO has always been the countries in NATO. U.S. crew with U.S. vehicles. BAF wearing BAF uniforms. And if BI wants to put Israeli stuff in the game then they should respect them and make them the crew of those vehicles. ARMA 3 is a completely generic game. Pink and orange sky with generic armies just randomly put together. And every army has the exact same stuff. Every turret is the same. Half of the vehicles are the same for each army. So it's ridiculous to me that you guys are complaining about flags. NATO will never have a single uniform for all countries. If Bi needed more time to make the game right, they should push it back.

I'm only complaining because BI has always raised the bar. I expect a quality product from them. I'm not complaining because I don't like the game. It's just that they need to get it right.

That would be sweeet

And PSA: Arma takes place in an alternate timeline. Maybe the US decided they wanted Merkavas for their European units for whatever reason.

I personally like to explore new terrain from a helo, it's nice to hover over an interesting place and take a closer look, land even and take a walk around

Man, I wanted more civvie cars to play around in. Oh well, atleast I'll still have my AH-99.
