metalcraze 290 Posted January 20, 2012 Nostradamus? Ruleofthumbus Both previous ArmAs got delayed by a year and ArmA3's release date already being slowly but surely pushed forward. Although maybe a release during another CoD/BF season would be a good idea since only right people will buy the game.
maddogx 13 Posted January 20, 2012 Although maybe a release during another CoD/BF season would be a good idea since only right people will buy the game. Because less sales = better.
metalcraze 290 Posted January 20, 2012 Less bi-weekly "why this game no play like battlefield" threads that's for sure.

nikiforos 450 Posted January 20, 2012 I hope we can get the game Summer 2012 because then we only have 6 months left to play till the end of the world.
Flash Thunder 10 Posted January 20, 2012 I would be safe and say Q2 2013 release unless you want a beta version of the game. A game with such content and feature set requires enormous time and beer lifting to craft to being up to everyone's expectations. Summer 2012 is coming pretty fast I just don't want to see BIS go through all the shitstorm with the press again...

metalcraze 290 Posted January 20, 2012 See! I told you it will be 2013 :D Hmm this can be actually good - Ivy Bridge and GTX700 prices will drop to an adequate levels, let alone Sandy Bridge plus more polishing.
roberthammer 582 Posted January 20, 2012 I hope it will be better and also i liked to see a option to choose a magazine and also visible that type on the model too (for example i will load C-MAG into M4 and then see it on M4 that C-MAG) :p
bigpickle 0 Posted January 20, 2012 I hope we can get the game Summer 2012 because then we only have 6 months left to play till the end of the world. Jesus said no man will know the time, date or the hour for the end of all things. I think we should be fine :)
dekster 1 Posted January 20, 2012 Please get the trailer sounds into the game this time. :)
[evo] dan 79 Posted January 20, 2012 BIS had a typo when they said summer 2012, they actually meant to say summer 2013. At least that way the game with have all the things (and working well)
Undeceived 392 Posted January 20, 2012 For me personally it is good news! Thanks for pointing it out.
Flash Thunder 10 Posted January 20, 2012 Please get the trailer sounds into the game this time. :) Eargasm everytime, oh boy! Seriously though if the sound is ever that good in game, I wouldn't care at all about the graphics, sound is bigger imo, Arma 2 suffers from some pretty bad sound besides the amazing OST in OA and A2. :) Put Arma 3 in beta around Q4 2012 Test it with a community group on the forums for a few months Release the game and get praise from all the press, and all the kiddies goin ZOMG 1337 Gaphix and Lenton says Nice... ???? PROFIT!!
Cripsis 10 Posted January 20, 2012 Actually, Celery will deploy to the Mnisek Studio and link up with Team Mike, poste-haste. Thanks for clearing that up, I shall resume begging him for juicy ARMA3 tidbits.
Guest Posted January 20, 2012 Excellent news, the longer they can work on things the better. And I hope any publisher will just shut up and let them develop it till its done :) I personally am pleased to hear this since it gives me more time to prepare our all new website + CMS. I might actually make it this time :D
carlostex 38 Posted January 20, 2012 Great news actually. Hope they'll release a public beta so we can help fixing the title through CIT.
Cripsis 10 Posted January 20, 2012 I don't mind waiting, however long it takes, but some new screenshots or info would really help make the wait more bearable.
EricM 0 Posted January 20, 2012 but some new screenshots or info would really help make the wait more bearable. Actually, screenshots have been postponed too. Now it's summer 2012 for that... ;)
gammadust 12 Posted January 20, 2012 sometimes later is better than sooner :) Anything is surely better then a certain "Soon!" I know of. This might also make me rethink my holding off of projects I intended for Arma3.
ziiip 1 Posted January 20, 2012 Congrats on becoming mod, Celery.
Tonci87 163 Posted January 20, 2012 HE´s a DEV! Not a MOD. I welcome BIS decision to work longer on Arma 3.
igneous01 19 Posted January 20, 2012 Im also glad the date got pushed back, gives me more time to work on my campaign, and it gives more polish time for the game itself. Eager to try out carrier command though, the preview looked very promising.
BelgarionNL 10 Posted January 20, 2012 well that blows! I hate developers announcing there games soo freaking early and then go months without any new info.... I mean it would be good if it would create a HYPE but thats never going to happen with arma and for that to actually happen you do need some more video's, interviews etc! armaOA is getting boring so I could use a new game! ow well maybe future soldier.. Nicholas 5 Posted January 20, 2012 I believe they pushed back the release of ArmA III to get more money. Carrier Command comes out before ArmA III and I think it will bring in some much needed profits.
