bobocz 10 Posted May 27, 2011 Thanks Damu. It was really fun. Are answers yes and no possibly interpreted as 'binary' one and zero ? (you never know ;) ) :D

Tonci87 163 Posted May 27, 2011 But you also didn´t really answer the last question (maybe is not Yes or No), that makes 6 unanswered. :p So here comes the Bonus Question, feel free to answer it. Will there be drivable Naval assets that are bigger than a Fisherboat?

maddogx 13 Posted May 27, 2011 "Considering the ASCII animation we saw showing a ball smashing a wall, is BIS planning to add more complex destruction physics to buildings in Arma3?" - MadDogX, Sergeantshizzle, the_antipopNo This seems to be pretty clear: no improved building destruction. "Is the quote "The world will change" related to new terrain technology?" - neokikaNo This, however, simply means that the quote is not related to new terrain technology. Whether or not new terrain tech is being developed is ambiguous. :)

Trauma.au 10 Posted May 28, 2011 "Were screen caps of in game physics used as an aid to create the ASCII animation of the ball hitting the wall? " - Trauma.auNo "Considering the ASCII animation we saw showing a ball smashing a wall, is BIS planning to add more complex destruction physics to buildings in Arma3?" - MadDogX, Sergeantshizzle, the_antipopNo Well then... what does the animation elude to? I guess we have to wait until E3, I'm still holding hope for complex destruction physics for vehicles though.
metalcraze 290 Posted May 28, 2011 Thanks for answering the questions :)I really hope that naval vehicles are drivable by the player and not just a static object. Driving a whole submarine isn't something a single player/driver can do.

Smurf 12 Posted May 28, 2011 So many "no"s so far. Maybe we are too whimmy for the existing technology in RV series engine... Only 1 RV related question! I lol'ed at: "Were we supposed to gain access the P8h8.info FTP server?" - -Puma-No
ScratcH1 10 Posted May 28, 2011 Driving a whole submarine isn't something a single player/driver can do. Of course not by a single soldier. You would still need a commander, driver, gunner,... but I know what you mean. You can't simulate a driveable submarine realisticly because you would need over 40 (or more) men to have it fully operational. Since ArmA is still a game I would be fine if it had 4 positions like a tank.
