Just wondering how easy it will be to helmet/hat them though - won't there be clipping issues with some of the head meshes?

Yeah I've noticed a few clipping issues when using these heads with other units with headgear - the hair tends to come through the helmet or hat. They'll likely need custom headgear.

It's called constructive criticism; learn the concept. I was being sarcastic when I said "blondie DDs" learn the concept. Maybe since you love the addon so much you can make better use of your time making missions with the addon instead of trying shut everyone up who doesn't share your opinion..

And what part of that post would you call constructive criticism? As for sarcasm, it's somewhat difficult to spot it when people make serious posts of such things regarding this type of addon, how am I to know who is being sarcastic and who is being a jerk?

As for the love, I wouldn't say I love it, I like the idea that someone is stepping up and doing this, I hate it that people would try and put them down for it.

Try reading my post again and then ask me that question. There's a lot of constructive criticism there. Oh and if you bothered to actually read my post you'd notice I was being sarcastic.

I've said what I had to say; if people want to download this addon all the power to em. I just put in my two cents out there on how I feel about the addon. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they're a jerk; it just means you can't handle an opposing viewpoint. I'm done here.

It would be nice if you made female soldiers for all factions we can find in arma:co, that way all female players can have a unit they can relate to.

Some suggestions: Eye protection and helmets would be nice, and the long hair should be removed. No female soldier would have long hair either in garrison or in the field, it's a safety hazard and is against regulations.

This is an addon for a computer game, it is not relevant if female soldiers are serving as front line soldiers or in a supporting role. It is completely up to the mission makers on how they use them.

It is also not important if they (in the addon) have "tits zomg zomg" or not. Those who served together with women or bothered to check the posted pictures will notice that in combat uniform there are boobs visible. :rolleyes:

Model related question:

Is this an entire new model - both body and head - or a previous units body with its 'bits' (not dirty, I'm just not a modeller so don't know the technical name) adjusted to allow the BIS female heads and sounds?

Or put another way - is it possible to add the 'feamle' aspect to other until with a few config changes or is a completely new model + config required?

The problem is this, they are US Army soldiers. I was a Infantryman for 8 years in the US Army, what good are these female soldiers for? To decorate a FOB? To have some really cool cooks or mechanics running around on your missions.?

I am a big believer in just don't download what you don't use but and I won't download these, but maybe some female soldiers from a country that has females in front line units would be alot better. Israel is a good example. Chicks in the US Army are ussually just occupying a uniform and little else

Everyone in Iraq and Afghanistan had the potential to get into combat. Why do you think the CAB was introduced? Infantry wasn't the only ones fighting with the asymmetrical warfare over there.

Our military has been deploying female soldiers with infantry, Cav, and other combat arms soldiers on the front line to help deal with the female population over there. Do you think that they haven't been seeing combat? What about the MPs?

There are plenty of front-line female soldiers and marines out there right now.

does anyone else having problems with the faces? i thought maybe I'm doing something wrong but the faces don't load up.

updated and all i run the Ace II stable oa version, @ Schnaps if the faces are working this is a great addon and it can give some realistic nature on the front line, because there are woman out there that are also fighting.

a other thing is, i would like to see more variation in them helmets? where are the helmets :p they need to put them also on you know when they are on patrol ^^

different load outs would be nice to rifle soldiers medics assault even officers they do exist so why not bring this one a step further ;-)

good concept work it out a bit more and it will be perfect for a lot of scenarios it already is ....

I'll really like to have an ArmA2 version of this addon units, with Marpat and the ArmA2 weaponry, M16A4s, M14-A1s and M40-A3s; with propper anims to hold M24 style weapons and not only V-grip style weapons. I'm almost sure that the ArmA1 female voice can be added and configured to work with this addon, sure that some config writter arround there will have an idea on how; but again... will be very good to have female Marines on the ArmA2 without the OA/CO requirement, those who own the ArmA2+OA aka CO could then use booth.

Operation Arrowhead has female voices included. But yes, I'd love to see a USMC version too. ;)
