ACE 1.5 (Advanced Combat Environment) for OA/CO

Say I wanted an ai unit to unload a weapon from their back, when under threat and then draw it, how would that be scripted in the initialisation?

I can load a weapon on the back, but I cannot find how to unload it back into a primary or secondary slot.

Just checked too, i dont have the demo missons (if there are any)...something aint right here :(

There is no demo mission for me also.. Though you could try running OA Only.

do you guys have the audio when giving comands to your units like move to, get in etc etc?

Because i dont hear any of the voice comands present in the original game.

-Go to your x:\Arma 2\userconfig\ACE dir

-search for the file "ace_clientside_config.hpp"

-open it with a text editor, search for this line:

#define ACE_NOVOICE

-put two slashes before it, so it'll look like this:

//#define ACE_NOVOICE

-enjoy the returned radio sounds!

Hi everyone,

I'd like to get some help about the ace wounded system. I want to add some features in my mission like so: when a soldier in coma state is in a stretcher, a medical evac chopper and things like that, the countdown is stopped.

To do so I need to access to the variable which is decremented in the ace_wounded_system. So far as I know ace_wounds_prevtime variable is just used to initialize the timer, not modified it at will.

Hope someone could help :)

Edit : some piece of answer: to variable to modify is "ace_w_reveive" in ace_sys_wounds's pbo. Now I need to access to player state when he is in coma. I see "ace_w_state" variable which seems to match it. There are different numbers 801,802,.. what does it correspond to?

We're working on reliability improvement in missile guidance systems. It is a bit less easy than expected. :eek:

So you mean the pilot can change the flying trajectories or the gunner do so?

It mentioned pressing the button [L], guess should be the Pilot Most likely

Anyway mine always hits the target

Those trajectories are way off. You might want to check this site: http://www.fas.org/man/dod-101/sys/missile/agm-114.htm

Letting the pilot choose the hellfire firing mode (LOBL, LOAL Lo/Hi, LOAL Dir) is greatly needed. So two thumbs up if you are working on that!

Hey I hate to ask a stupid question, but I've combed the fora for the correct method of bombing with ACE 2. I've tried A10, Harrier, F-35, and pretty much any other aircraft with bombs and can't get the hang of it.... If someone could explain it to me in noob terms that would be awesome

Hey I've got a question for the ACE devs: how the hell did you get any changes to the T55 and it's D-10 to "stick"? In this thread I've been trying to make some changes to the T55 and the D10, but it seems that the game is ignoring changes that I make :(

Last time I checked (which was a while ago) the CCIP indicator was WAY off. Hopefully it's adjusted one day (assuming it's not already adjusted based on your comment).
