Absurd lack of Steam Workshop's moderation

The whole subject of moderation on their Steam workshop is a joke. Endless removals of mods for using model ripped from ancient games, or on the tiniest suspicion of IP infringement. And while they're wading into that sort of thing, they're happy for people to rip and upload literally thousands of movie or gaming soundtracks. These are copyrighted. God help Bohemia if EMI or someone decides to have a word. Maybe get some of the volunteer busy -----s to have a look at those for a change? Because if your going to be proscribing stuff, maybe it shouldn't just be limited to the mods - or the people - you don't like. -

Hi, no haven't solved it yet but I haven't really been doing much arma 3 stuff over the last year. Think I'm going to reinstall all the tools from scratch and see if I can get it going again. So much I'd like to do. -

Did anyone ever make a Chieftain tank? I remember there being one for Arma 2 but I don't think it ever got ported upwards. Thanks to Spearpoint we have some really nice UK cold war gear, be nice to have some armour to compliment it. -
These are really, really nicely done. Looking forward to getting a proper run with them. Looking forward to seeing the blasters with RAHG! Been a good couple of months for classy weapons packs.

Due to a hard drive death, I've just discovered I no longer have the triple version of the armaRig Mascer graciously linked me up with a couple of years back. I thought I'd backed everything up, but there's always something, isn't there? Can anybody provide me with another link to it, if possible?

I've finally gotten around to reinstalling tools for modding, and although everything else seems to be working OK, I can't get Mikero's cupcore2p utility to unpack the cup files. Regardless of whether I tell it to extract the stable version, or the dev, it keeps telling me it can't find either. Needless to say, I have them installed fine via steam. I had this working last time everything was installed (prior to a nasty HDD failure), and that was back in the spring. Is there something simple I'm missing, or is there a problem with the utility? I have all the rest of Mikero's tools installed, and the P drive seems to be working fine.

That second pic is pretty good. Really close in look and vibe to what you tend to get. The Mull of Kintyre map has some really nicely done little council estates in it - not sure where the assets are from. Of course, this is a mostly rural map, and as others have said, there are quite a few buildings in the game and DLC which really aren't far off for that. EDIT: Just realised those are the same buildings. Lol. -

Agreed. Mind you, until someone does a pebble-dashed council house model, Rural Scotland is never going to look exactly right in Arma. 3 🙂 -

Anyone know if there's a decent looking attempt at a British Mk 6 helmet out there at all? We've been blessed with some great Brit gear recently, but this one always seems to be missing. -

Yeah, I had a feeling that might be the case. In actual fact I'm in the same boat as WSXCGY above. It's mainly the OEF-CP ACU's I'm using at the mo. They look great, and scratch an itch I've had for a while!
