The reason you don't have tables for those weapons at such extreme ranges, is that beyond a certain range the offset would actually depend on the weapon itself too much. That is, at 900m, you could need 1 click more/less using different M24s depending how much wear they have and other random weapon-specific factors, so a table cannot really be made except on a case-by-case basis (as in, you take your own rifle and make a table specific to it).

Also the tables actually depend on the exact ammunition used. 168 grain 7.62 ammo will have slightly different offsets than 175 grain, and whatever is the standard US army M24 ammo has slightly different offsets as well.

In any case, it's definitely much more accurate/complicated than "1 click = 100 meters", especially at longer ranges. For example M24 with 175 grain ammo would require 2 3 3 5 5 7 8 clicks for 200, 300, 400, 500, 600, 700 and 800 meters (where you add the numbers, so 750 meters is 2 + 3 + 3 + 5 + 5 + 7 + 8/2 = 29 clicks). All when zeroed to 100m of course.

With the standard Leopold 10X scope, 1 mil is (very close to) 3.5 clicks in elevation, and 7 in windage (the size of a click for windage is 1/2 of that for elevation while the size of a mil is obviously the same).

You should be able to, I have been. The only issue I've had is when I was wounded in a vehicle and AI won't pull me out. :)

Action menu, take out injured.

Does anybody know what the panic button is for?

It's in the userconfig, keys, class_ace_sys_stamina?

I wonder about this since weeks but didn't see any effect using it...

as a total noob to this arma 2 mods. can someone be so kind as to give me a direct link to the actual download? i just seem to click on links that send me to more links that send me back to the start again.

dear ace-team,

could you please change the cannon sound of the ah-64? the vanilla sound is horrible! compare it to some real footage on youtube and you'll hear the difference. A better sound is much more fun. Maybe you can do something in the next updates!?!

Repo is now fixed. The problem was down to some missing 7zip files that must have been deleted when they should have been overwrote.

This was also preventing people who were initially downloading the ace files.

It has now been rebuilt please post here if you have any problems.

I am sure that someone complained this before, but the Type 99 (PLA) in game just way overpower

Even three shots of 125mm SABOT on side from T-90 could not mobile kill it.

Lugiahua: are you sure? Because tanks rarely explode in ACE2. My solely infantry squad neutralized Type99 with simple AT weapons and it even catch fire :)
